"Are you feeling good now?"

"Yeah. Thank you for your help."

"Hey, don't say that. We are a team. In fact, we should be thankful...if not for your barrier..."

Sylvia quickly stopped Aurelia, as she really was grateful to her. Soren didn't see it before, but at the last moment, she saw Aurelia using some kind of artifact around her neck.

Otherwise...could she have gained more power just from her desperation, like in a shonen manga?

"What about another Blazing Falcon? Shouldn't we deal with it too?"

Aurelia stopped Sylvia from saying further and asked, her hand already on her staff.

She was ready to fight once again as today she really ruined her mother's reputation.

She even got scoled as an idiot on her face.

"Don't worry, Soren said he had leveled up and gained some mana. He and Evan are enough to kill it. Look..."

Sylvia smiled and pointed at a relatively far distance just in time to hear a tragic cry and the fall of the Flying Falcon.

In fact, for their team comprising so many S-class hunters, this monster shouldn't have been enough to make them desperate.

After all, they were elites chosen from the whole country.

The only reason they were panicked and scared was because of the suddenness of the situation.

Without even a warning, they were suddenly thrown into an E-rank dungeon out of nowhere and landed right in the lair of a Level 20 flying monster that could breathe fire.

Anyone would be caught off guard, especially when they had no prior experience. Soren only managed to show excellent strategy because he knew beforehand.

Maybe this was also the lesson that Principal Logan wanted to give his new batch of students.

Just because your class was S-rank, don't get too complacent and look down on lower-class monsters.

In reality, they could kill you too, far more easily than anyone could imagine.

To be honest, looking at it, rather than class, level seemed to be more important in some ways, didn't it?

"Hah...this title seemed more powerful than I imagined."

Soren lowered his worn-out D-rank bow while breathing deeply, his eyes gazing at the monster corpses.

This time, he didn't even need to use his GAP stat to kill this monster.

Part of it was due to Evan and his Level 20, but it was also the effect of the new title he got before.

---

[Title: Falcon Slayer]

[Effect: Increases damage against falcon-type monsters by 10%.][1]

---

"Sigh...I didn't get the title like you. It seems you need to kill it solo to get one."

Evan sighed as he only heard the level-up information from the 'Voice of the World.'

"Haha...I was lucky, I guess. Anyway, let's collect the loot, shall we?"

Soren was in a good mood even though he didn't level up again. The experience gained from the same-level monster and below was ridiculously low.

So, he instead came near the body of the Falcon that was rapidly dissolving on its own.

Unlike the F-rank dungeon of the Elite Hunter Academy, the real dungeons of this world were quite different.

Besides leveling up and gaining various skills and titles, they could gain loot from the monsters they killed.

It was basically how a dungeon in a game should be, except there was no respawning for intruders after getting killed here.

And to everyone's horror, even humans killed inside would dissolve the same way, leaving their belongings aside.

That's why the dungeon was far more dangerous than anyone would think.

"Well, the same as the previous one. Then again, they were only ordinary monsters in this dungeon."

Evan showed the item descriptions to Soren as well as the other three girls who came close.

As he was still the captain of the team, he had the authority to collect the loot for the team.

"Well, they were still worth 100 credit points each, right?"

Sylvia was quick to notice their worth, her eyes shining lightly. There were around 10 E-rank mana stones and a similar number of flame crystals.

Even if they had to share, it was plenty.

She was getting kind of excited when she suddenly saw Soren looking at her with a smile, causing her to lower her head immediately, too shy to meet his gaze.

She never thought this guy would take advantage of her while she was healing him. He was getting too bold.

Fortunately, nobody noticed their small interactions.

"Yeah, seems so. By the way, I noticed that we can now teleport out of the dungeon, too. Look..."

Aria nodded from the side and then showed her status panel to everyone.

---

[Do you want to get out of the E-rank Dungeon, Emberwing Roost?]

[Please note that you cannot leave the dungeon while in combat.]

---

It seemed the exit criteria for this dungeon weren't hard. They could leave the place as long as they weren't fighting.

Then again, it was just an E-rank dungeon and not a higher one where, besides killing the boss monster, hunters would be trapped inside.

For a newly discovered and unconquered one at least.

"Yeah...great, then we can leave this place immediately. I feel like we should inform the academy that there is something wrong with their dungeons."

Sylvia breathed a sigh of relief as soon as she saw the same prompt on her panel, too.

To be honest, although she was the one with the least injury and fatigue in this team, she might be the one who wanted to leave the most.

She was too tired, mentally and physically.

And it wasn't like they could conquer such a dangerous E-rank dungeon filled with flying monsters.

In fact, Evan and Aurelia thought the same until...

"Ahem...About that..."

Soren coughed lightly, garnering their attention, and asked with an embarrassed look,

"How about...we try to conquer this dungeon?"

He asked with a sheepish smile before tossing a bag out of his inventory, letting it land squarely in front of them.

"Clink...clank..."

In an instant, every pair of eyes was drawn to the ground, where dozens of vials shimmered with blue, red, and green liquids.

Even without seeing the item descriptions, they could sense what each was and inhaled sharply in surprise.

Mana potions, healing potions, energy potions, just a small glimpse of the collection made it clear how valuable it all was.

A single sweep of their senses revealed that Soren had spent every one of his 1000 Credit points to gather them.

"What the heck..."

[1] Adjustment has been made to the title effect, as I mistakenly labeled it as a Flying-type monster instead of a Falcon-type monster. Otherwise, it would be too overpowered.
