Chapter 22 - CHAPTER TWENTY ONE: A NEW RELATION

The aura being emitted by Tsukimi was so intense that most of the goons on the rooftop passed out. His miasma alone was chocking the few who were still standing. Ravi used their fear of death to call upon his dark mana and cloak himself in it like a hazmat suit. He was not going to lose to Tsukimi. He slowed down time in order to move faster than Tsukimi but he greatly underestimated what he was going up against. As soon as time slowed down, all his men were either stabbed to death or decapitated. He looked at them in shock and anger. Not anger at the loss of his men but rather anger for Tsukimi 'thinking one powerup was enough for him to be defeated'. And I use the term, defeat, loosely. What Ravi did not notice was that Tsukimi was yet to move from his position, his men were killed by bony protrusions coming out of Tsukimi's back. Then, Tsukimi summoned his bone daggers. He was going into the attack. Ravi created giant arms from dark matter and tried to slam him into the ground. The attack connected, or did it. Tsukimi was now standing behind Ravi speaking in an incoherent language. Before Ravi could react, his bones erupted out of him stabbing all his organs.

He fell to his knees coughing blood. He twisted his upper body to try and extract Tsukimi's dark matter but he felt the world spinning. It was actually his head falling to the ground. He was now feeling the pressure that Tsukimi was exerting. He decided to get serious, he activated his runes. Magical glowing shapes appeared on his skin once more. These were runes. Time instantly stopped. The world was covered in a grey shade that made everything look gloomy. Everyone and everything that was not allowed to move in this space was covered in that grey shade . He started to cackle as he reattached his head on his body with dark matter. He looked at Tsukimi who was stopped in his tracks. He said," You actually thought you could defeat me number one. My power is far greater than your feeble mind could comprehend. It took a lot of planning to get here. Pulled an all-nighter but it was worth it to have both you and Celine as you are. I will kill the heir to the Tombbreak name and be seen as the most powerful being in the world."

" I'm sorry to burst your bubble but it seems you are the one who is underestimating your opponent," said Celine who was watching from the corner.

" Chancellor, how are you....?" began Ravi.

" I think I'm the least of your worries little birdy," said Celine pointing at Tsukimi.

Ravi violently turned to face Tsukimi but saw that nothing was happening. He called Celine out on a bluff only for Tsukimi's eyes to start glowing brightly. Then, as if being called, his miasma fused with his mana and erupted from his body, or rather his bones. This was similar to what Ravi did because now he could move. Ravi immediately started to experience discrepancies with his mana. He could not use his magic properly due to the mana miasma fusion. . Tsukimi stabbed Ravi in the heart clean through and veins coming from the heart started to glow red. Ravi jumped back to assess the damage and knew that this was not a minor injury. He took the opportunity to jump of the roof and plumet to the ground. Luckily, once he was a fair distance from Tsukimi's miasma, his mana was now working properly. He called out his wings and flew back to the university.

Now the roof was only occupied by Tsukimi and Celine, and maybe the goons who managed to survive all that miraculously. Tsukimi sought the strongest being around and faced Celine. Celine stood elegantly and glared at Tsukimi. Tsukimi took a stance and charged at her. His daggers were emanating a red energy. He was going for the kill. Then out of thin air, a dagger popped out from a tear in space and was aimed at Tsukimi's core. He stopped in his tracks and jumped back. Once he was good distance away, he assessed his core closely before looking back at the core." Hmm, you have good reflexes little brother," said a voice coming from the tear.

The dagger moved down increasing the size of the tear. Once it was at least three meters tall, it widened to a large circle. Then from it came a blonde haired, red eyed, half human face, half skeleton face being walked through it. He was accompanied by a green haired, dark skinned, long eared, blue eyed woman [ assuming she is a dark elf ]. The woman had with her a little baby boy in her arms. They stood before Tsukimi who gave a loud roar at them and removed his bony tentacles to attack them at a far. " Impressive, even on a rampage he knows to be cautious of an unknown foe," said the man.

" Nice to see you to Skelvar. And?" said Celine looking at the woman holding the baby.

" Oh, I'm Silvia, Skelvar's wife. This little one is our son, Kevlar Tombbreak," said the woman.

Celine was in shock. She ordered," Skelvar can you deal with Tsukimi while I dote on my nephew."

Skelvar was about to turn around and retort but he felt an eerie feeling more malicious than Tsukimi's and so he nodded in agreement. The bone tentacles that were approaching them had been stopped by his sheer mana. From there he vanished, appearing in front of Tsukimi hitting him with waves of Chi [ life energy, different from mana and miasma since it is used my none magic users but by martial artists only ]. Tsukimi was sent flying a bit away and passed out. His flesh and organs were seen regenerating as clothes made from bandages were created to his body.

When he woke up, he felt dizzy and a ringing in his head made it hard for him to think. He sat upright and saw Celine playing with Kevlar. She looked s goofy. Beside her was a dark elf that he did not know but if Celine was next to here, she must have been good. Now he felt a sigh beside him. He turned to see the half faced Skelvar. He looked visibly bored." Hey little bro, who gave you permission to enter that form without proper training," he said in a melancholic voice.

" Bro. Bro? Wait, do you mean me?" asked Tsukimi.

" Of course I mean you. Argg, I guess it makes sense that you don't know who I am. The name's Skelvar Tombbreak, fourth and only artificially created son of the Undead king.

Tsukimi looked at him with a face loaded with questions but is scanning for the most pressing one." What are you doing here?" asked Tsukimi.

" Well that is easy. Big sis here requested for me to train you on how to control your skeleton powers in this period before classes start. So I came to take you to my home," answered Skelvar as Tsukimi looked at Celine," Oh and that's my dark elf wife Silvia and my son, your nephew, Kevlar.

Tsukimi was now having a clear understanding." So I went on a rampage didn't I?" Tsukimi asked looking at the sky.

" Yes you did," said Skelvar.

" Ha, okay. Let's go then," said Tsukimi standing up and holding out a hand to Skelvar.

Skelvar looked at him for a bit in shock before nodding in agreement. He too stood up and grabbed the hand being offered. The two walked towards the two ladies as Skelvar said," He agreed to join us in the amazon so all is good,"

" Really?" asked Celine.

" Yeah, though a warning could have been nice, sis," said Tsukimi.

" Sorry, it kind of escaped my mind," said Celine.

Tsukimi walked over to Silvia and greeted her respectfully. He even called her sister. The atmosphere was genuinely happy. Then came the goodbyes. Skelvar cut open another tear in space and once he was sure it was stable, he led Silvia and Kevlar through it. Tsukimi gave one look behind him and smiled. He assured himself and felt a burning passion in his heart. He heard Skelvar calling out to him on the other side and he said that he was coming. He chuckled a bit, said goodbye to Celine before running straight into the unknown. Once he was through, the tear closed itself.

Now, Celine looked over the roof's edge. As if they were waiting, a swarm of vampires flew over and stood in her presence in the air. They awaited her orders. She simply ordered them to clean up the corpses on the roof. She was exhausted and was going back to her chambers. The vampires swarmed the roof tearing apart the corpses. Not even a drop of blood or even a spec of hair was left at that very crime scene.
