After Tsukimi had reincarnated the snakes, he sent them to go live their own lives for the month or it would not have been training if they helped. He found himself a good place to be a good campsite and built a fire. He then reflected on his day to know what he saw in the forest. By sunset, he remembered what his father had told him and started to meditate. He wanted to use his skeleton made from mana but knew it would burn through mana like crazy so he decided something more defensive but deadly. So he decided to go for a slime.
At the stroke of midnight, the wolves attacked but any contact with the mana slime decayed them beyond healing. Tsukimi woke up the next day and ate the leftover corpses. He was now ready and had a plan for surviving.

Grim grew bigger as his chains started to move in the air. Tsukimi hopped on his new stead." Damn Grim, you are one crazy beast," said Tsukimi," Bring it on old man."
" Alright," the wraith said as he charged at Tsukimi with his great sword raised.
Grim charged. Before the two impacted into each other, the wraith unleashed thousands of regretting souls. The two were caught in the blast that demolished the entire castle. The generals were caught aback by this. They all faced the damage and waited for the dust to clear. As the dust cleared, a large silhouette of a horseman was seen. They were all shocked. " Is he dead?" asked zombieman.
" Ha, do you think the future king would lose so easily. Look closely," said Taro as the dust cleared to reveal Tsukimi stabbing the wraith in its core with Grim as a giant Cerberus behind them all," He is the future king, no weak undead can beat him."
" Who would have thought you would move that fast and into the blast. I guess you are the a worthy king. I am at your service my prince," said the wraith as he and he and his horse disappeared into dissipating souls," I have found him my friends."
Tsukimi detransformed and held out his hand. A giant purple magic circle appeared and the wraith arose with purple energy contrary to his earlier aura. He got off his horse and bent his knee. The other generals approached him carefully and asked whether he was okay." Oh hi everyone. Meet... I'm sorry what's your name?" asked Tsukimi.
" I am knight commander Ronen the dragon slayer. I will be joining your ranks as of today so I hope we can cooperate well as a team," introduced the wraith.
They cheered. Then Aracnaline asked while still afraid," Am my lord, can you please ask grim to detransform? He is starting to scare me."
" Detransform? What do you mean?" asked Tsukimi as he turned slowly to notice the three headed demon dog looking at him with lava dripping from it's mouth.
Tsukimi passed out completely. The sight of that was too much for him.

It was the last day and the vipers came back to Tsukimi who was seated at the bottom of the waterfall. They surrounded him in such a way that when the king arrived with his dragon he was highly alarmed. He dove with his dragon spinning in a tornado of poison gas. It formed an illusion of a Cerberus demon dog. Tsukimi jumped out of the waterfall and formed a mana zombie to punch away the imposing foe. His two arms stopped two heads and the last head faced the zombie head. The zombie opened it's mouth and the Cerberus head was absorbed and eaten to reveal the king in a demoniac form that was meant to strike fear in all creatures on earth. A wave of black energy invaded the forest and nearly all of the creatures passed out including Tsukimi.
He later woke up on a dinning table from the scent of real food. It was a stocked table and in the opposite side of the table was the king who was destroying a flaming bird leg." Good work on the forest assignment with the vipers. Starting tomorrow you start sparring with Taro and he won't be going easy on an heir. One month left, don't disappoint son," said the king as he exited the table and the room.
Taro sat at the table with Tsukimi and they chatted about their lives as Taro explained more about the undead race as a whole. It was the first time these two bonded like brothers though Tsukimi at the time did not know of their blood relation.

Tsukimi came to on Aracnaline's back. His head was a jumble as he experienced a slight headache. He sat upright and asked the squad which floor they were in at the moment. They told him they were finishing up the forty nineth floor. He suggested they take a break before entering the final floor." My lord, are you okay?" asked Aracnaline.
" Yes I am Aracnaline, thanks for worrying about me. And for keeping me safe,"said Tsukimi making her blush," So where is Grim?"
" He is with zombieman clearing the remaining monsters up ahead. He felt sorry for scaring you like that so he has been fighting like crazy with no break," explained Ronen who was leading the party keeping Tsukimi safe.
After a while, the team stopped at a small hill to rest and the assault team rejoined them. Zombieman was glad to see Tsukimi was okay as he bent a knee at him. Grim approached while whimpering afraid Tsukimi was angry." Are you guys okay? No injuries, right?"asked Tsukimi and zombieman confirmed that their health was good," Good, you should rest before the final boss."
Zombieman agreed and straight up fell asleep on a broken cart wreck. Tsukimi noticed Grim was not convinced so he approached him and pat him on the head saying," It's okay Grim, I'm not mad. I'm still alive aren't I? So cheer up dude," as grim started panting before licking Tsukimi's face with his molten tongue.
Part of his face melted from this. It was a joyous moment as the vipers slept around the squad, zombieman snoring in the cart, Ronen caring for his horse, Taro on guard with his sword in hand, Aracnaline sleeping next to Tsukimi and Grim who were admiring the view of the night sky.
Then a sudden quake erupted in the whole floor. The squad groggily woke up and Tsukimi asked for a status report on the situation. Taro said in a darker than normal voice," It's the ceiling, it's cracking and breaking apart."
The night sky cracked apart as a dark red light invaded the cracks. Then the cracks were exceeded and it fell through. From it came a giant pyramid. It landed at the center of the floor and at the sight of it, there was someone on the top in a red cloak. Above the mage came a giant crimson magic circle with the shape of a Cerberus and from it erupted a pillar of red light. Then it started to rain people and monsters. It was the other examinees. The mage then vanished.
