"That's only because both you and Unicorn agreed; it wouldn't have mattered whether I agreed or not, I say." Although Ayanami did indeed want to go on a date with the Admiral, she stubbornly clung to her pride and refused to admit it.

"The empty room next to mine? Hm, sure! If my cute little sister wants to live there, of course it's no problem!" Upon hearing Unicorn's words, Illustrious stopped her singing and dancing and readily agreed.
Azuma and Ayanami did not speak up in opposition.
This was because after Azuma, Ayanami, and Unicorn had been unconscious for a day and a night from eating that horrific food, they woke up and found Illustrious lying beside them. They checked her breathing and saw she wasn't dead, concluding she must have also passed out from the food, and together they carried Illustrious to her room.
Illustrious didn't wake up until she had been unconscious for three days and three nights.
Two days ago, Unicorn had told Azuma and Ayanami that she wanted to live in the room next to Illustrious. Azuma and Ayanami certainly wouldn't have agreed back then! "Look at that, you've scared the child nearly to tears. So if you care about us, put an end to any thoughts of cooking ever again!" Ayanami said as she gently stroked Unicorn's head and gave Illustrious a sharp glare.
"That's right, that's right! If you cook for us again, we won't be unconscious for just a day and night—we'll be sleeping forever!" Azuma dabbed Unicorn's eyes with a handkerchief and echoed Ayanami.
Illustrious sighed. "You… all of you! Fine, I get it. I won't cook again—happy now?"
Azuma, Ayanami, and Unicorn jumped up cheering together. "Hooray! The Admiral's done with cooking!"
Stare—Illustrious glared straight at them. I'm still right here—could you at least give me some face?
"A-hem! It's getting late, so Ayanami and I will head back to the dorm. Oh, and don't forget: the date order is me, Ayanami, then Unicorn. I'm looking forward to our eight-o'clock date tomorrow morning~" Azama took Ayanami's hand, bowed, and blew Illustrious a kiss.
"Let go—I can walk by myself!" Ayanami yanked her hand free.

Reassured, Illustrious said, "I see. It's late—let's head to our rooms."
Unicorn answered sweetly, "Yes, Big Sis Illustrious!"
…The next morning, sunlight streamed through the window and the alarm shrieked like a death-knell. Irritated, Illustrious grabbed it and flung it outside.
"Finally, a lie-in. So noisy so early… Wait, wasn't something important happening today?" She shrugged. "Can't remember—back to sleep."
Suddenly her door creaked open. Unicorn hurried to the bed and shook her. "Big Sis Illustrious! Up you get! You've got an eight-o'clock date with Big Sis Azuma! She's already made breakfast—come on!"
"Just five more…" Illustrious mumbled.
"Minutes?" Unicorn asked.
"Hours," Illustrious finished.
"Get up! Otherwise Big Sis Azuma will explode!" Unicorn kept shaking her.
