(3rd PoV)
'So...fighting without one-shotting.'
This was the restraint Kyoya put himself in his fight against Todoroki.
But the problem is, Aizawa didn't seem ready to give permission for the fight.
But fear not, since All-Might is here!
"Why not let the kids duke it out? It will be a good experience!"
Aizawa sighed, reluctantly allowing it.
"Alright. But if you go overboard, I am ending the match."
Kyoya and Todoroki nodded.
All-Might grinned.
"Alright students! Even though the school is over, those who want to witness a mock-match, come to the arena! But first, inform your parents!"
'Ah. I forgot to inform Mom.'
Kyoya quickly messaged his mom, and put his phone back in the backpack.
Everyone was interested in the match-up, so everyone decided to stay and watch.
Kyoya watched Aoyama from the corner of his eyes. He was behaving like his usual sparkly self.
In the arena, Kyoya and Todoroki stood opposite to each other.
'I can't let him get close to me. He is almost as fast as full power Iida.'
Todoroki still couldn't get the genjutsu out from his head.
'It was just an illusion...'
And then, the kunai that was before him. To make a choice between himself and someone else.
If an actual villain did the same, what would his answer be?
On the other hand, Kyoya took out a katana from its scabbard. Plans forming in his head.
"Ready?"
Both nodded.
"Go!"
Kyoya moved first, but Todoroki created a massive ice structure, not leaving any space in the arena.
Kyoya was caught in the attack, freezing completely upto his neck.
"You sure talk big."
Todoroki said, and started walking towards the frozen Kyoya to free him.
"Todoroki is the winner."
Aizawa's voice came, but Todoroki wasn't satisfied. Afterall, Kyoya had promised to not instantly one-shot him. And that illusion was perfectly capable to do so.
If he can't surpass his classmate properly, he might as well forget about surpassing his father, and then All-Might with only his ice side.
But just as he reached to Kyoya, Kyoya smirked.
"Did you think that was enough?"
"Huh?"
The next moment, Todoroki found himself at his starting place, himself frozen in ice. And Kyoya standing still at the opposite end.
"What!?"
'That was an illusion!?'
Everyone on the stands was surprised.
"Hey hey! Why did Todoroki freeze himself!?"
Todoroki grinded his teeth and activated his fire Quirk to melt the ice.
"Why are you using your fire Quirk to only melt the ice? Use it fully."
"I don't need it!"
"You clearly need it."
"I will surpass All-Might with my right side alone!"
"Well, if you are leaving half part of you untrained, you are never going to surpass anyone."
"Don't act like you know me!"
Due to effects of genjutsu, Todoroki is getting mentally exhausted and triggered.
Loosing his cool.
Kyoya shrugged.
"You seem to hate your dad. Then why not show him that your fire can become bigger than his ego—"
"Shut up!"
Todoroki used another large scale ice-attack, but no one was caught in it.
"Ack!"
Kyoya hit his neck from behind, making him fall.
And then, Kyoya cut his arm.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"
Todoroki fell down, screaming as blood gushed out.
His eyes went to the stands, and he found everyone was asleep.
'So he really is a Villain!?'
Then, Endeavour came to his blurring vision, disappointed.
"That's enough of being a brat, Shoto. I created you to help me surpass All-Might. But the way you are, you will never be able to kill him."
"Huh?"
'Kill him!? No... That's not father! Another illusion!?'
Todoroki bit his tongue, and actually broke out of the genjutsu through pain and willpower.
Kyoya was still standing at the other end of arena.
He was actually surprised that Todoroki managed to break out of his genjutsu.
'Well, I am no Itachi. And my Sharingan is just one-tomoe.'
Todoroki huffed, using his ice attack yet another time. Kyoya was trapped.
"*Huff!* *Huff!* Ha! Ha!"
Todoroki panted, his condition worsening. But he has won.
No way can that guy spam illusions like this.
"You don't know Endeavour... Even if he has big ego... He will never try to kill All-Might—"
Todoroki found himself trapped in his own ice again. And the katana against his neck.
Kyoya whispered, "Congratulations, you are not the spy."
"Huh?"
Todoroki couldn't handle it anymore, and he passed out.
And as he was passing out, the scenery changed.
He wasn't trapped in ice. And Kyoya caught him as he was falling down.
'Another illusion? He can't... keep spamming it...'
Kyoya caught Todoroki, and gently laid him down.
'Well, I will be Kakashi if I got tired with just three genjutsus.'
"Sato Kyoya wins. Now everyone, go home."
Aizawa announced, signalling the end of the match.
"No way! All they did was stand and stare at each other! Then Todoroki bit his tongue, and then he fell down a few moments later!"
On the outside, the match was painfully of nothingness. But on the outside, Todoroki fainted just from the mental strain. Recovery Girl wouldn't be able to do much if he developed some trauma due to it.
Just because his father has a thick head and he let Kyoya test his genjutsu on him, and wasn't affected because he knew it all was fake, doesn't mean that everyone, especially an already traumatized kid has that much mental strength.
But anyway, Kyoya has now confirmed it. Todoroki is not a spy. And atleast to Todoroki's knowledge, Endeavour is just an egoistic Hero, not a Villain.
So that leads to Aoyama being the most suspicious student.
