"There is a way," one of the healers finally said, his voice weighed down by the pressure inside the emergency den, "but it can't be implemented right now. His body and mind are unstable. We need a period of observation. The brain treatment cannot begin until his examination data reaches the required ideal state."
My instincts tightened instantly, as if the pack itself had gone still to listen.
"How long do you need?" Elliot asked, his Alpha tone cutting cleanly through the sterile air.
"About three months," the healer replied. "During this period, we will maintain his life in a controlled coma state and stabilize all readings until he is fit for treatment."
"Prescribe whatever he needs," Elliot said without hesitation, his grip on my hand firm and grounding. "Money is not a problem."
"We will, Young Master Elliot. We guarantee the best possible treatment for Mr. Tillman."
