Naomi moved quickly the moment Francis gave the order.
"Naomi, go pack my things and bring my medicine," he said, his voice still carrying the authority of a pack Alpha despite the exhaustion in his chest.
She nodded immediately and went upstairs without hesitation.
Moments later, she returned with a neatly packed suitcase and handed it over to Alex. Her expression was soft, almost obedient, as she spoke.
"Mr. Hunter, please take care of my husband," she said gently. "He's not feeling well."
Alex gave a respectful nod. "Don't worry, Mrs. Tillman. I'll make sure President Tillman is safe throughout the trip."
Francis's phone suddenly rang.
He glanced at the caller ID, then stepped into his study to take the call in private, his instincts briefly shifting into alert silence as he closed the door behind him.
The moment he was gone, Naomi's demeanor changed.
She quickly pressed a medicine bottle into Alex's hand, her movements precise and controlled.
