Chapter 55 - Chapter 55: The Pressure of the Uchiha Clan

"So you are Yuu."

In Minato Namikaze's home, a hearty laugh rang out.

Kushina Uzumaki looked at Minamikawa Yuu standing before her, her face full of curiosity: "He really is the same type as Minato."

Clearly, Minato Namikaze had already mentioned Minamikawa Yuu's existence to her.

Kushina was already aware of Minamikawa Yuu's basic information.

Minato Namikaze had once told her that Minamikawa Yuu was a Ninja very similar to himself.

Kushina hadn't quite believed it before.

But after actually meeting him, she had to believe it.

The boy stood there with a gentle smile on his face; his whole presence gave off a sense of approachability that naturally inspired a favorable impression.

Standing there with his long hair falling down, he possessed a gentle and tranquil aura that made Kushina take notice.

Without needing to say much, just the feeling given off by that aura was somewhat similar to Minato Namikaze.

If one had to point out a difference, it was mostly in appearance.

Minato Namikaze had blond hair, while Minamikawa Yuu had black hair, which looked much more ordinary.

"What a good-looking child."

Looking at Minamikawa Yuu, Kushina curiously stepped forward to look him up and down, finally unable to resist reaching out to touch him.

"It would be great if our future child could be as good-looking as Yuu."

In the end, she couldn't help but look at Minato beside her and speak.

"Sister Kushina and Teacher Minato are both very good-looking."

Minamikawa Yuu spoke softly: "Your future child's appearance will certainly not be bad either."

"Haha, is that so?"

Hearing Minamikawa Yuu's words, Kushina couldn't help but laugh heartily: "Minato, did you hear that? This child praised me for being good-looking!"

"What a truly good child."

She rubbed Minamikawa Yuu's head.

Minamikawa Yuu only smiled at this gesture of affection, not rejecting it.

This was his first time visiting Minato Namikaze's home.

In terms of status, he was now Minato Namikaze's student; no matter how one looked at it, he ought to pay a visit.

This was also his first meeting with Kushina.

Looking at the situation, this was not easy.

As the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, Kushina Uzumaki could be said to be the most important person in Konoha right now.

She was the strongest trump card held by Konoha; ordinary people didn't even have the qualification to approach her.

Given her status, if Minamikawa Yuu weren't currently Minato Namikaze's student, he probably wouldn't have been able to meet her at such close range.

"Dinner is almost ready."

A moment later, Minato Namikaze's voice drifted out from inside.

"I'll help too."

Minamikawa Yuu took the initiative to go to the kitchen, helping out and showing off his cooking skills in the process.

His cooking skills were quite good, honed during his time in the Land of Ancestors.

It couldn't be helped; the food during the Land of Ancestors period really didn't suit his palate, and later Kaguya was just as picky about her diet as he was.

So he had to cook for himself, gradually honing his culinary skills.

"You actually know how to cook?"

After some work, Kushina Uzumaki was amazed.

The cooking skills of Ninjas were generally not high.

Coincidentally, among these people, Kushina was also the type who couldn't cook.

Most of the dishes she made basically fell into the category of dark cuisine.

Yet she made dark cuisine and forced others to finish it.

This made things difficult for the guests who often visited.

Over time, Kushina also gained some understanding of her own cooking level.

Now, tasting Minamikawa Yuu's skill, she was immediately astounded.

"Can you teach me?"

She looked at Minamikawa Yuu, her face full of earnestness and her eyes filled with hope.

"This... shouldn't be a problem."

Meeting Kushina's expectant gaze, Minamikawa Yuu glanced at Minato Namikaze beside him and eventually nodded.

At this moment, he didn't care much about it.

After all, in his eyes, it was just a small matter.

But he soon admitted that he was indeed too naive.

As the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, Kushina was exceptionally talented in many aspects, far surpassing ordinary Ninjas.

But asking her to attempt such delicate work as cooking was simply too much of a challenge.

"Ah, it's on fire!"

A moment later, a scream came from the direction of the kitchen.

Minamikawa Yuu stood by the kitchen, looking at the flustered Kushina before him, feeling helpless in his heart.

"Sigh."

A sigh was heard.

This wasn't Minamikawa Yuu's, but Minato Namikaze's.

He looked at the chaotic scene with Kushina in the kitchen, feeling very helpless.

"Kushina is just like that."

A moment later, he sighed and spoke softly: "I've made you see something embarrassing, Yuu."

"No, I think this is quite good too."

Minamikawa Yuu shook his head with a smile: "Everyone has things they are good at and things they aren't; it's quite normal."

"That's true."

Minato Namikaze nodded, though he felt helpless inside.

It was indeed true that everyone had strengths and weaknesses.

But unfortunately, some people just insist on struggling with what they aren't good at.

More importantly, he was the one who had to bear the consequences of her doing so.

Every time Kushina made a bunch of dark cuisine, he was always the one responsible for cleaning up and finishing it all.

Just finishing it was already an ordeal, yet he had to force himself to praise it, otherwise he'd have to face Kushina's invincible iron fist.

Kakashi and the others had visited his home in the past, but they eventually stopped daring to come; there was a reason for that.

"Sigh."

Thinking of Kakashi and the others, he couldn't help but sigh.

"Has Kakashi's matter not been resolved yet?"

Beside him, Kushina suddenly spoke: "The Uchiha side..."

"Yeah, it's still a bit noisy right now."

Minato Namikaze nodded: "They want Kakashi to hand over that Sharingan."

"Can't there be some leeway?"

Kushina immediately frowned.

From start to finish, they never thought about letting Kakashi hand over the Sharingan.

Because they all knew what that Sharingan meant to him.

That was Uchiha Obito's memento before his death; for Kakashi, it was like a continuation of Obito's life.

Kakashi would probably rather die than hand over that Sharingan.

But having said that, the pressure from the Uchiha was always there.

"If it really doesn't work, I'll go talk to Mikoto..."

After thinking for a long time, Kushina spoke: "Her husband is the patriarch of the Uchiha; if she's willing to help, there should be a turn for the better."

"It might not be that easy."

Minato Namikaze shook his head, not thinking things could be resolved so easily.

Recovering a lost Bloodline Limit is the will of the entire Uchiha Clan.

Even the patriarch of the Uchiha Clan, without a suitable reason, probably wouldn't be able to convince the people.

Otherwise, there's simply no way to persuade the clansmen.
