Jeanne didn't feel much regarding the massive ripples she had caused in the outside world. In her view, this prayer shouldn't have reached a level sufficient to cause such an impact.
One must realize that even within the village, apart from Alina—who had already changed classes to a Nun—no one noticed any change. The villagers would all subconsciously believe that nothing had changed at all; none of them even noticed the existence of the mountain.
Even Talulah only understood what had truly happened after being informed by a suddenly awakened Kashchey. At that moment, she finally understood what Kashchey meant when he told her she had underestimated that God.
After Jeanne returned, Talulah's heart ached for a long time seeing Jeanne's face pale from the sudden, massive loss of magical energy.
That day, as several of them gathered to discuss how to utilize the mountain forest, Talulah proposed granting ownership of the mountain forest to Jeanne. This proposal was immediately met with unanimous agreement. In their eyes, although they didn't know what Jeanne had sacrificed to bring about this miracle, letting her do all this work for nothing would weigh heavily on everyone's conscience.
At this stage, they would use the mountain forest in the name of a loan, but all resources within would be left to Jeanne's disposal. Whether to develop or preserve it was not for them to question. This was a decision Talulah made after experiencing Jeanne's repeated help; she was truly embarrassed to have Jeanne provide both manpower and strength while potentially receiving nothing in return.
In line with Talulah's thoughts, Patriot's Guerrillas were certainly not a team that required members to sacrifice everything; taking someone else's things for free was an act they could not accept. After all, this was a miracle created by Jeanne through prayer that brought God's descent. Her allowing them to use it was already generous enough; they were actually having a bit of a headache trying to figure out how to pay the bill.
However, these matters weren't that important given the current scene. Right now, Jeanne and the other two had a more pressing matter: the Yeti Squad's dress training had begun.
No one expected Frostnova to be serious this time. She truly forced every member of the Yeti Squad to change into dresses to participate in training...
The men, filled with hot-blooded enthusiasm, had crafted a type of dress similar to those worn by ancient Victorians, largely avoiding any embarrassment. What excited them most, however, was that since Frostnova demanded this of all Yeti members, and given that she herself was a member, they successfully got Frostnova to wear the long-prepared dress.
Under the "sincere" pleas of numerous Yetis, Frostnova agreed to their request. Amidst the cheers and celebrations of the Yetis, the faith they had pursued all their lives was about to arrive!
The next day, under everyone's expectant gazes, Frostnova appeared before the crowd wearing that pure white dress. Seeing the scene of the Yetis jumping up and down in celebration made Frostnova feel a bit out of place.
"This is the Yeti training ground, right? Why are you two here? And as for you lot—straighten up and be serious!"
Frostnova's ears twitched slightly as she looked shyly toward Talulah and Jeanne. Those two, meanwhile, had faces that said they were just there to "eat melons" and watch the show.
"To maintain the temperature here, of course! Otherwise, why do you think you don't feel the cold while wearing dresses? It's all because I'm working hard here to maintain the temperature, okay?"
Upon hearing Talulah's words, Frostnova immediately realized the truth. she had subconsciously thought she was just used to the cold; she hadn't expected the temperature had been adjusted...
On the vast, desolate snowy plains, the members of the Yeti Squad, dressed in pure white dresses, began their training for the day. Fortunately, Frostnova wasn't a demon; they only had to finish one set of drills before they could go back and change into their normal clothes.
Jeanne looked at the smug Talulah, feeling a bit expectant—if she suddenly withdrew the power reinforcement she was providing her, would Talulah be so cold she'd accidentally ignite the whole place?
However, Frostnova in this state truly looked like an elf of the ice and snow, especially those two large rabbit ears, which always gave one an urge to pet them.
It was a pity she couldn't pet them yet, but Jeanne believed that one day, she would rub Frostnova's ears just as she was able to rub Talulah's tail.
"I feel like you're thinking about something bad. Restrain yourself a bit; that gaze of yours is staring so hard she's about to have her fur stand on end."
Talulah recalled how, when she went to ask Jeanne last night to use her ability to help strengthen her power today, Jeanne had actually requested to pet her tail as the price!
You already have a dragon outside, so why are you still thinking about my tail? It's been so many years and you still haven't given up! Could it be that those Wyverns won't let you rub them, so you've come here to harass me?
Talulah remembered that Jeanne had long been interested in her tail and Alina's horns, always wanting to touch them to experience the texture. Alina had agreed to the request, but a bashful Talulah had refused Jeanne's designs on her tail. She hadn't expected that for the sake of this plan, she would have to sacrifice it. Last night, Jeanne had even rubbed off a few scales!
Talulah had even seen Jeanne ask a Lupo if he ever plucked the fur on his tail when he was bored; she seemed immensely curious and fond of limbs that she herself did not possess.
"This is just a yearning for cute things! Look at those big white ears—don't you want to rub them a few times to feel the texture?" Jeanne immediately explained her motives upon hearing Talulah's words.
Talulah had to admit that the statement was correct. Regardless of her compatibility with Frostnova, the white rabbit in the white dress truly looked quite cute. Especially those ears dancing in the wind—they looked quite tempting...
"Can you two lower your voices? we still have to train... And you lot, shut up! Why are you chiming in for no reason! Five more sets of training for everyone today!"
The Yetis, hearing the conversation between the two, expressed their agreement with the topic of their Big Sister being cute, showing gazes of "meeting kindred spirits," looking as though they were about to preach the "Cult of the White Rabbit" to them...
"I'm sorry, I am a member of the clergy; I cannot change my religion at will..."
Jeanne read the look in the Yetis' eyes and responded with her own. If her Deity knew she planned to swap gods for the sake of a pair of ears, her "Boss" would surely think she'd eaten something wrong and needed a brainwashing.
"Commander, what do you think of Frostnova's outfit?" Jeanne turned to ask Patriot, who had just arrived looking for someone, intending to let the father evaluate his daughter.
"Indeed... very cute. I did not expect Yelena to look so good in a dress. A pity this place is not suitable for such attire."
Jeanne saw a look of relief in the Commander's eyes, as if his "rabbit" had finally grown up, and also a will to create a world where his daughter could wear such a dress.
"Don't you go joining in their conversation for no reason! Maintain your cold and aloof image!"
The white rabbit's somewhat "shy" words drifted over. Looking at those gradually reddening cheeks and ears, it seemed she was also quite happy (?)...
