Chapter 12 - Episode 12 - Pritha City

King and Ignis set up a simple camp, with a campfire lit to ward off the night's chill. Ignis seemed exhausted after the battle, as it had been a while since she had used her magic in combat.

"I'm going to rest a bit, King," said Ignis, her soft voice betraying her weariness.

"Rest well, Ignis. I'll keep the first watch," replied King, watching as she settled down to sleep.

Ignis, in her dragonborn form, soon fell into a deep sleep.

King remained awake, his eyes mapping the outline of the surrounding forest, but frequently returning to Ignis's repose.

There was something majestic about her presence, even while she slept. Her serene and powerful countenance exuded a unique beauty that captivated King. The scales, as gleaming as any precious metal, allowed him to glimpse the grandeur of draconic beauty.

For a brief moment, he allowed himself to forget the dangers that awaited them, losing himself in the simple admiration of his friend and companion on the journey.

After some time, weariness finally overtook him. King stood up, carefully extinguished the campfire, and lay down beside Ignis. The sight of her sleeping peacefully was his last thought before sleep embraced him, bringing the promise of another day of adventures and challenges alongside the one he so admired.

At dawn, sunlight filtered through the trees, illuminating Ignis as she slept. King awoke, admiring the draconic goddess. He sat up and murmured, "Looks like a good day."

Ignis opened her eyes, a gentle aura enveloping her. "Good morning, King. What awaits us today?"

"We are going to the capital Pritha. We need to hurry," he replied, already getting up.

"Yes, I heard Pritha is celebrating. But there are also rumors of challenges ahead. We need to be prepared," Ignis warned.

King nodded, focused. "Let's get ready."

After breakfast, the two got ready. King mounted Ignis, feeling the warmth emanating from her. "We're ready for the journey," he said bluntly.

"Let's take flight," Ignis replied, her eyes fixed on the horizon. With a powerful flap of wings, they took off.

"Down there, everything seems so small," King commented, observing the landscape stretching below.

"Yes, but we must remain vigilant. The road to Pritha may be full of surprises," Ignis reminded him.

"Right, I'll be watching," said King, his expression serious.

As they approached the capital, the city's beauty was revealed, surrounded by high walls and majestic towers. "It's so close!" King said excitedly.

"Yes, but we can't let our guard down. The rumors about dangers on the road may be true," Ignis informed him.

"We need a strategy," King stated. "I'll watch while you fly."

"Great idea! But when we get close, I want you to be alert," Ignis emphasized.

"Understood," he replied.

As they approached Pritha, Ignis decided to land in a place far from the city, where the vegetation was still dense. With a gentle flap of wings, she landed in an open field, far from the city's gaze.

"This is a good place for me to transform," Ignis said, her voice carrying a tone of determination. Sunlight reflected off her scales as she began to transform, her draconic forms molding until she assumed her dragonborn form, a majestic and imposing figure.

King watched in amazement. "You look even more impressive like this," he commented, admiring the powerful aura emanating from her.

"Thank you, King. Now I'm ready to explore," Ignis replied, with a confident smile.

The two began walking towards the city, excitement growing in their hearts. The sounds of festivities could be heard in the distance, and the atmosphere was full of energy.

"Shall we go through the main entrance or try a less crowded route?" King asked, curious.

"We can take a shortcut. That way, we can observe more and perhaps avoid crowds," Ignis suggested.

"I agree. Let's go!" King exclaimed, leading Ignis down a path that veered away from the main flow.

As they walked, the streets were adorned with colorful banners, and the aroma of delicious food permeated the air. "Look, there seems to be a market over there," King pointed out.

"Let's take a look," Ignis said, his steps firm and determined.

In the market, various merchants displayed their wares: vibrant fabrics, glittering jewels, and delicacies from all parts of the kingdom. King was dazzled by the variety. "Look at this, King! What incredible things!"

"Yes, Pritha is truly a city full of life," he agreed, exploring the stalls.

As they walked, they heard laughter, people telling stories, and bards playing cheerful melodies. "I feel like we're about to have a great adventure here," King commented, sensing the excitement in the air.

"Absolutely. Let's enjoy every moment," Ignis replied, a glint of expectation in his eyes.

With hearts full of curiosity and enthusiasm, the two continued to explore the vibrant city of Pritha, ready to discover the wonders that awaited them.
