"My name is Evaline Ignisvane," She smiled and took slow, cautious steps forward.
Memories suddenly flashed in his mind, and Klaus stood on guard waiting for her to attack, however it didn't come.
'What the hell,' The memories were flames, well to be more precise it was him as a child, witnessing her mother fight someone using flames.
"Ah! Please don't judge me for my fathers behavior," As soon as he spotted Klaus's expression she covered her forehead shyly.
'Huh?' He didn't understand the intention behind her words at all. Since he didn't know who her father was, so he just turned his head.
Seeing this Evaline let out a sigh of relief, "Seems like it was something else," she sat down on the ground and looked up at the sky, "My father is an evil man… but he's extremely rich and influential," she started playing with some rocks, tossing them hand to hand whilst a small flame flickered in her palm.
"Reminds me of my own," Klaus scratched his neck as he remembered the bear man throwing him out of the house.
"Hm? Is your that also a narcissistic freak?" She asked, her expression softening slightly.
'Uh, I don't know exactly,' So he smiled awkwardly and nodded like it was the most normal thing ever.
"Sorry for being rude earlier, I was getting fucked with in the dorm, what exactly is your name?" She said whilst standing up and extending a hand towards Klaus.
"But I already introduced myself..so what's your name?"
The apology itself seemed proper for Klaus, and he didn't exactly care about what happened earlier. He isn't that social either so he couldn't care less honestly.
Klaus grabbed her hand,"Klaus Albrecht Von Alderstein," her smile instantly dropped off her face, and her expression went from joy to confusion in a quick second.
"Huh, Alderstein and you are a mage?" Genuine confusion was visible on her face however Klaus couldn't really explain to her that he died, reincarnated with a mysterious system for some reason and now he is a mage.
"Yeah, I was kicked out for that exact reason," As soon as Klaus said that her confusion turned into sorrow.
"I—"
"Who is the loverboy," A chuckle came from behind them and Evaline quickly left go of Klaus's hand, her expression darkening.
'Hm?' He turned and saw an exact replica of Evaline, except a male…version?
'Are they twins?' He looked back and forth between the two, Evaline seeing this just nodded as the dude kept walking towards them.
"Loverboy?" Klaus asked back finally, his lips twitching slightly.
"Yeah fucker, our father the Dutch fill kill you if you hit on my sister," He spat out, her long black her flying around in the air…it seemed dirty.
'Why does he have so much dandruff…' Klaus held himself back from laughing which made the dude pissed off.
"What? You're laughing at the Dutch? He is the Dutch of our country Thaloryn! You are insulting the royal lineage!" His eyes were twitching at both him and his sister.
'Ah, Thaloryn huh,' The name itself was pretty ass but at least it was finally some new knowledge.
"Cassian, I think he's laughing at you…" Evaline spoke up from behind Klaus and both of them turned towards her. She was trying her best to hold back her laugh.
"At me? What is so funny loverboy—"
Klaus cut him off as he finally had enough, "Can you stop saying that dude? It's so annoying, we aren't lovers at all, we were just talking," he sighed and shook his head however he managed to tick Cassian off.
"Did you just interrupt me?" A vein started throbbing on Cassian's forehead as Evalune leaned closer to Klaus and whispered, "He gets really pissed when interrupted,"
"I can see that," Klaus whispered back as flames started appearing behind Cassian like he was a living furnace.
"Cassian this isn't the place for anything like this," Evaline spoke up however his flames just kept getting bigger and bigger.
But in that instant a red pop-up appeared in front of Klaus.
[Familiar resurrected!]
'Jen!' Klaus smiled as Jen appeared in front of him, she jumped in joy, Evaline's expression turned to shock, but Cassian didn't seem to notice.
However as soon as Jen saw Cassian was trying to attack Klaus her expression darkened.
"You DARE USE YOUR FLAMES!" She shouted and flew into the flames, punching Cassian on the chin, who couldn't even react.
The flames quieted down and he fell backwards, Jen floating in front of his unconscious body.
Evaline stared at her and smiled in awe, Klaus just shook his head, lost for words at the event unfolding in front of them.
'That's one way to handle it I guess—'
"You have a fire fairy as your familiar?!" Her eyes practically had stars in them as she ran towards Jen, ignoring her unconscious brother.
"Eh, who is this," Jen pointed at Evaline in front of her, who was trying to grab Jen but she dodged all of her attempts.
"Long story, we already arrived at the academy," Klaus sighed and walked towards the unconscious Cassian.
"Is there anything we can—" however he was interrupted by Evaline. "Don't worry about that dumbass, he always recovers from stuff like this," she smiled as she finally held the annoyed Jen in her hands.
'Has this happened before…' He shook his head and poked the laying dude in front of him, his soft face just moved around but he didn't respond at all.
"Lets just move from here," Evaline said whilst patting Jen in front of her hands like she was a pet cat.
"Master tell the human girl to let me go!" She said annoyed as her flame eyes started getting bigger.
"Evaline…" Klaus was already starting to sweat from the earlier heat, and smoke scent still lingered from Cassian's earlier flames. He didn't want to burn into tiny pieces.
Evaline sighed and let go of Jen who flew into Klaus's shoulder instantly.
"Glad to have you back Jen," He patted her head which made her smile instantly.
"Where is that bastard though," She looked around but couldn't find who she was looking for.
'I'll explain everything soon, we were attacked,' He explained in his head and Jen nodded, understanding their current situation as Evaline just looked at them, head turned, not understanding anything.
"Hm?" she asked with a smile but Klaus just shook his head.
"Let's look around a bit more, whilst we do that you can explain some stuff to me about this place," He said to the both of them especially to Evaline who just nodded.
"Sure, I can help," After that they walked off the training field, leaving Cassian laid on the ground, unconscious, like a little puppet.
'He deserved it to be honest,' Klaus let out a small chuckle as they kept walking.
