Linda nodded, but for some reason, she was still mad. "I want to know about her."
The man nodded. "I'm Shark, Lizzo's boss." He sighed. "I don't know what's going on, but I'm very sure the news of you has spread and they will start worrying about it." Then he glanced at Laurence. "You did a good job. Her coming here is the first step. In two days," he put his thick cigarette in his mouth, "the real game will begin."
Linda checked the phone in her hand and raised a brow.
Laurence froze. "You…" he shook his head in disbelief. "You took her phone?"
Linda nodded and unlocked the phone. "Stupid." He used her ex's name as the password. She quickly installed and copied some things into her own phone. Her phone showed connected.
Shark and Laurence exchanged looks. "Where did you learn that from?"
Linda paused and looked at the phone in a daze. "From my mom."
Shark chuckled. "You must have a good memory then."
