Chapter 4 - Chapter 1: My Absurd Skill is Unexpectedly Useful

In a slightly chilly foggy night with the moon shining above in the sky, a forepaw stepped into view with an aura to show that it was a legendary creature. Bluish silver fur with legs in the shade of crimson red, a snout and underbelly a white color and a mark on its forehead in the same shade. Its fur moved due to its aura as a group of humans, a small silver dog-like fox with a blue and black jackal and white and black feline-like creature and a yellow mouse with a lightning bolt shaped tail wearing a scarf stared at the great wolf-like monster in shock, fear and surprise as they were frozen in fear.

The creature's eyes were the color of an emerald and the mark on its forehead was glowing along with the eyes and what it did next shocked the young teenager with amethyst colored eyes and blonde colored hair with the strange creatures beside her.

"Come forward, human." It spoke, mouth opening to reveal rows of sharp canine-like teeth. The creature's voice was a slightly deep male voice as he was addressing Alice.

Let's go back to the beginning shall we? Before this life changing encounter...

The blonde girl from the beginning stared with wide eyes, her arms clutching the small dog-like fox who squeaked in surprise as they appeared somewhere different with three other people who are probably 3 or 2 years older. Two were teenage girls and the other a boy.

The blonde girl's name is Alice Greenflower and she was a former Pokémon trainer, a former Pokémon Champion now a researcher and in her arms was one of the eeveelutions that she had brought with her along with 11 more Pokémon hidden in the shrunken PokeBalls attached to her belt.

"Welcome heroes!" A voice, full of hope and excitement was the first ones to greet them and Alice soon noticed that they were surrounded by figures holding staffs and wearing robes

Standing in front of them was a maiden clad in a royal gown of pink and white with golden embroidery designs. This was probably a princess with how regal she was dressed with a tiara. Standing beside the princess were two older men in robes. One was holding a staff and the other one was holding some type of mirror.

"Our prayers have been answered!" The one on the right side of the princess praised.

"The heroes have received our summons and now they're here to help us! "

The one with the mirror stepped forward as the princess gazed at them hopefully.

"Right. Excuse me, would you allow me to appraise what kinds of abilities you received?" He asked before he pointed it to the male black haired student who was wearing some type of school uniform and it showed what type of hero he is.

"Incredible! A holy sword wielder! What amazing potential!" He exclaimed in joy before he pointed to the two girls who looked nervous.

"Sacred magic? On top of that, you have the ability to use lightning, wind, ice and light magic! What a comprehensive range!" He read the stats in awe.

"Please, I beg you, please save the Kingdom of Reijseger! You heroes from another world are our only hope." The Princess pleaded hopefully as Alice stared in confusion.

She had been in these types of situations before, no thanks to Team Plasma messing up the space-time continuum just to get Mew who apparently breached reality between her world and the other world but this situation is a whole new experience for her.

'Wait, what did she say? We've been summoned into another world?' Alice thought in confusion as the little creature, Eevee, squeaked in confusion, mirroring her trainer's confusion.

Alice was soon noticed by the one holding the staff and was surprise with how young she looked.

"Hm? There's a hero in the back." He said in confusion.

This caused the other older teens to look at her and she slightly tightened her hold protectively on Eevee who looked tense as the one holding the mirror pointed the object at her to see what she had.

"Let's see here. Alice Greenflower, 16 years old. Her unique skill is... Online Grocery?" The mirror holder was confused as heck while Alice blinked in confusion and disbelief.

"Huh?" She blinked as the older teens seemed to judge her for the skill she got which made her frown slightly. Sure she got Online Grocery but it could be a useful skill... right?

"What the heck?"

"Is there even internet here?"

"Sounds kind of a useless skill. "

"And what's with that thing she's holding?"

"Doesn't she look a little too young?"

She grew annoyed but remained calm, showing an air of maturity despite her age. She started journey when she was only 12 years old and she will not let anyone call Eevee a thing or judge her for her age.

"Um, hold on, is that it?" She asked the one holding the mirror politely.

The mirror holder pointed his object at her again to double check it before lowering it.

"It looks like the only unique skill you have." He explained and Alice could hear the apologetic tone in his voice which made her sigh.

She watched as the three older teens were approached by the robed hooded men as well as the princess speaking to the two other girls.

'Even though the other three seem completely overpowered...' She thought with a wary expression before Eevee squeaked and looked to their left and Alice followed her gaze to see the one holding the mirror had approached them.

"Pardon me, but as someone who was summoned to our world, you'll need to meet his royal majesty." He explained as Alice looked a bit wary.

"Oh, lead the way." She spoke softly as Eevee got out of her arms and climbed onto her shoulders.

They were soon taken out of what Alice can call a summoning room and to the throne room. The older teens were given a change of clothes that were based on what type of heroes they are while Alice kept her attire with Eevee sitting beside her as they knelt on one knee in front of the throne where the king and Queen along with the princess were sitting,

The palace was big which Alice can tell that much and it could fit a whole bunch of Pokémon in the area too. The king soon explained why they were summoned and what she heard made her cringe slightly.

"Since ages past, the demon king has been known to terrorize our kingdom on occasion. Would you heroes lend us your strength to preserve peace throughout the land? Only the demon king himself possesses the power to return you all from whence you came." The king explained.

Alice observed the three royals and didn't like the feeling she was getting from them, especially the king. If they could summon them from their worlds, why not have a way back?

The one who was the holy sword wielder spoke. Alice can sense the anger and desire and determination to help in his voice.

"I won't stand by and allow the demon king to make the innocent suffer." He said, fitting into his role perfectly.

"Oh, does this mean..." The king was hopeful.

The dark browned teen spoke up next.

"If my power can be of any use..." She said with the ginger haired girl agreeing.

"Right."

Alice couldn't stop the suspicion from creeping in her gut before she soon stood up.

'This story isn't adding up...' She thought as she stood up, clearing her throat as Eevee stood up as well.

"May I say something, your highness?" She spoke up politely as the royals were surprised to see how she spoke up as she crossed her arms slightly.

"No matter how you slice it, I'm not a hero. And I'd probably just get in everyone's way if I stayed." She explained, having a reason as to not join this quest to defeat the demon king.

"Sorry, I know you're desperate for help. But if possible, I'd like to try live a quiet, simple life in this world." Alice explained but she heard the holy sword wielder's, Kaito, whisper to the two girls who were looking at Alice.

"Online Grocery girl huh?"

The royals didn't argue with her logic as they let her leave with a pouch of gold coins and she made sure to count them and saw that they gave her about 20. 20 gold coins for starters isn't bad but she doesn't know the currency of this new world that she and Eevee are in.

'They gave me 20 gold...' She thought after closing the pouch as Eevee rode on her head.

'I appreciate the gesture regardless but I wish I know how much or how little this is worth.' She thought and chose the latter. It's probably hush money.

Eevee patted her head and she glanced at her Pokémon before glancing to the side and saw people were whispering to each other.

"Hey, look at that girl."

"She must not be from around here."

"Right?"

"And what is that on her head?"

Alice groaned inwardly as she looked at her clothes. Now that she noticed the people, they weren't wearing the clothes she was wearing so she sees the reason why she looked weird especially with Eevee. They stick out like sore thumbs.

'Arceus, I stick out like a sore thumb...' She thought in concern.

'I need to find a change of clothes before I can start gathering info.'

Despite being a different world, she surprisingly can read the signs of some shops. The first thing on her list is getting new clothes and a new bag. She found a clothes store after asking some locals politely and managed to trade her usual clothes with something that will help her blend in. She even got a new bag which Eevee chose and she paid for the bag too.

She exited the shop, fixing her belt and holding her bag.

"Have a nice day!"

She purchased a few neckerchiefs for her Pokémon and a small bow for Eevee which made the shiny Pokémon happy. Next on their list is information and someplace to sleep and maybe something to eat.

Alice spotted two kids and asked if they could help.

"I'll tell you if you give us some food." The kid with a dirty dark blue shirt begged.

Alice didn't have any food on her which made her feel sorry for the kids. They went to a food stall and saw that it had freshly picked fruits and vegetables.

"I picked these fresh just this morning." The shopkeeper explained, showing her a bowl of fresh oranges and they cost only 2 silver coins.

Without much of a choice, Alice purchased four of them and gave them to the hungry kids who showed her the way to the inn. She thanked them before entering the inn where the innkeeper welcomed her.

"Good luck finding a better price in this area." He explained and Alice nodded with a polite smile as she rented a room to stay in for the night.

Alice sighed as she sat down on the bed. It's not soft like back home but it was something. Eevee came out of the bag and yawned as she padded towards her trainer with a whine, pawing her cheap boots.

"Ah, you're hungry, Eeveee?" Alice asked softly as she picked her up and petted her head as Eevee squealed in delight at the head pats, sitting on her trainer's lap comfortably.

"I'm just so glad I didn't get carried away and agreed to become a hero." She said softly as Eevee looked up at her curiously.

'Not like I don't want to save the world again. I've had enough world-ending types of scenarios...' She thought with a sigh.

'For a kingdom in trouble, their royals sure are extravagant...' She thought back to the king, queen and princess and it irked her so much.

'I got a feeling I shouldn't linger here too long...'

She picked out one of her Poke Balls as it enlarged with a push of a button at the center as she let out her first Pokémon and first partner, Lucario.

The Aura Pokémon blinked in confusion as he took in the strange location they were in as he barked softly at Alice who explained what happened. Lucario sat on the floor as Eevee tried to catch his tail as he smiled at her attempts as Alice decided to try something.

"Alright then. Let's see, status open!" She commanded and much to her surprise, she saw that a holographic status page opened in front of her. Lucario and Eevee saw that too and were surprised. Eevee got on the bed and Lucario went to their trainer's side to see what it was.

"Whoa... That's amazing. It's like checking the status' of Pokémon but it feels totally different in person." She said in surprise but she was surprised to see that her level was 1 much to her chagrin. Her level is the same as a newly hatched Pokémon.

[Name] Alice Greenflower

[Age] 17

[Job] Accidental Otherworlder, Pokémon Researcher

[Level] 1 [Strength] 100

[Magic] 100 [Defense] 80

[Attack] 78 [Agility] 75

[Skill] Appraise, Item Box

[Unique Skill] Online Grocery

"Level 1. Skills: Appraise and another called Item Box." The item box caught her attention.

If she remembered correctly from when she was young, an item box is where items are stored for further use whenever she played a video game.

'Looks like I don't have to worry about lugging things around.' She thought with a smile before it was wiped away as she stared at her skill, well, her unique skill.

"And as for my unique skill... it's still Online Grocery..." She said in dismay as Lucario grunted in confusion.

"No, I don't even know why it's a unique skill. There's not even a PokeMart here." She told him, sensing his confusion as Eevee yipped curiosity as Alice hummed.

"Activate Online Grocery!" She commanded but nothing happened as she slumped in dismay while Lucario and Eevee watched her in amusement with Eevee laughing slightly.

"This is embarrassing." She couldn't help but chuckle since she felt a bit silly for even doing that. It's not the same as her Status box though.

"Why didn't it work like the status? Please, don't tell me it's broken already." She questioned as she stared at the words, Online Grocery. Something was telling her that she should touch it somehow.

She does so and a light almost blinded her, Eevee and Lucario as they stared in shock and disbelief. The status box was soon replaced by a website and much to her shock, the items in it were from her world and somewhere called Tokyo and it has all kinds of foods, ingredients and so much more.

"A... website popped up?!" She exclaimed in surprise as Eevee yipped immediately after seeing a PokePuff selection while Lucario was eyeing something from Tokyo, the chocolate bun.

Knowing that their food problem is solved for now, Alice decided to make her first purchase.

"I should buy some water first." She said as she added the item to the cart.

"Drinking water from foreign places can cause stomach issues. Next, I should get us something that's ready-made." She said as she checked the ones from Tokyo and picked the first snack she saw before she went to the PokeMart/Bakery/Grocery section for Lucario and Eevee to eat.

She checked the cart and wanted to purchase it but she didn't have funds and a message showed that she had insufficient balance and she guessed needs to provide funds for the items she wanted to purchase and a small box that acted as a coin slot.

"Balance?"

She took out a silver coin and didn't hesitate to slide it in the small box before she pressed the confirm area and the familiar sounds of a finished purchase was heard.

A glow by the floor caught their attention and a box appeared which landed with a small thud on the floor.

"That was fast." She said in disbelief before she opened it and smiled at the contents. The Online Grocery is definitely useful alright!

"Looks like this skill isn't so useless after all. It's amazing." Alice smiled. She's going to have an easier time with food now.

She took out the packet that was called anpan before she handed the Pecha and Oran Berry PokePuff to Eevee and the chocolate Fidough Bread to Lucario. She opened the packet for Eevee with Lucario opening his. She opened hers next and they started to eat. Eevee squealed in happiness as she ate her PokePuff.

'It's not useful in combat and the higher-ups didn't have a frame of preference for online shopping but this skill is really strong...' Alice thought as she continued to eat while savoring the meal while checking what Online Grocery has in store.

'I won't go hungry if I have money, and I'm gonna bet that there's a way to use this skill to bring some in.'

Alice checked everything. She has an item box and was glad that the Pokémon incubator was there as well as the egg that her Dragonite laid with Henri's male Dragonite. She was surprised by the amount of berries she has along with the medicine, hold and general items in her bag which are in the item box too.

With everything checked out, Alice closed the Online Grocery and she put the trash in her item box to not make a mess.

"First things first, guys, we should get out of this country as soon as possible starting tomorrow." She told Eevee and Lucario who both agreed.

The very next day after recalling Lucario back into his Poke Ball and Eevee jumping onto her head, Alice left the inn and started to find out how to leave the kingdom before she asked around before she found two kids who are helpful.

"There's a town called Kiels near the border of the kingdom." The boy in the blue tunic told her as he pointed in one direction and Alice smiled thankfully at them.

"Thanks a bunch, kid" She said as she ran in the direction the boy pointed.

She made it as she heard the coach driver announcing where they'll be heading.

"Waggon bound for Kiels, about to leave! This is your last chance to board"

"Please, wait for me!" Alice shouted, moaning to reach the person on a stool before she stopped.

"Can I come too?" She asked as the guy knelt down to her level.

"I gotta say, you're quite the lucky one, kid. You got the last seat." He said much to her relief and surprise. She made it with Eevee.

"You're a lifesaver." She smiled before she and four others got on the carriage as it was being pulled with a creature similar to a Rapidash but has two horns like a Gogoat.

She was sitting next to an old guy and Eevee was sleeping on her lap as she noticed that the old guy seemed to be a traveling merchant from the looks of his clothes.

"Are you a traveling merchant?" She asked, wanting to at least establish a good first impression with her fellow travelers.

"What kinds of wares do you plan on selling in Kiels?" Alice inquired curiously.

"I managed to get my hands on some soap, miss." He said warmly as Alice smiled.

"That sounds interesting." She said with a smile as the older guy nodded.

"Why, of course. It's a very luxurious resource." He explained.

"Do you carry them in your item box?" Alice asked curiously but he shook his head.

"Heavens no! I carry my wares in this backpack. Only about 1 in a 1000 people have the good fortune to obtain the item box skill." The older man explained as Alice nodded slowly, stroking Eevee's back whose ears flicked curiously in her sleep.

"Oh, I see." She said, looking down at her sleeping Pokemon.

"So then, what about a skill called Appraisal?" She asked and the older man smiled joyfully.

"That would be incredible obtaining such a rare skill such as that as every merchant's dream" He explained as Alice looked curious.

"But as you know, it's only possible for heroes from another world to acquire the appraisal skill." He said before turning to her curiously, warm brown eyes filled with curiosity.

"I see." Alice hummed in curiosity.

"Since magic appraisal tools are so difficult to come by, only large guilds and countries have enough influence to get them. Did you not know that?" He asked her and Alice shook her head with a small smile.

"Of course I did. I was only just saying it'd be great to have it." She admitted as she laughed nervously. Eevee woke up and looked at her trainer with a small yip, knowing Alice was saying a small lie.

"Wouldn't it be marvelous?." He reassured her with a chuckle as Alice looked to the side, petting a now awake Eevee who climbed onto her shoulders.

'Gotta be more careful with what I say...' She thought as she thought of what the old man said.

'But this is good news. It means that there's almost no chance of anyone using appraisal on me other than those three that chose to be heroes...' She thought.

"Anyway, what are you traveling to Kiels for?"

The question snapped her out of her thoughts as she turned to the old man who was looking at her curiously.

"Oh, well, I was actually thinking of crossing the border." Alice said, knowing it was true since she'd rather leave the country to go to the next one.

The old man nodded before leaning to her slightly, covering his mouth to whisper as Alice and Eevee looked at him.

"I'd say that's a wise decision." He said quietly as Alice was confused as she leaned her ear to him.

"Lately, there's a bit of trouble brewing in the Kingdom of Reijseger. You didn't hear this from me, young one. But there are rumors that the country might close their borders soon." He whispered to her much to her shock.

"No way!" She exclaimed but covered her mouth quickly. Why did he mean that the borders are gonna be closed soon?! She looked worried and looked to Eevee worriedly who yipped softly, sensing her worry. She just hopes they reach the border before then.

They arrived at a town and Alice along with her fellow passengers got off and Alice went to the board and saw that the stagecoaches were all suspended as she stared in shock.

("All travel services are currently suspended")

'You're kidding... They've suspended all travel services?' She thought in dismay before she turned to look at the town. At least this place was more normal.

'Though, it doesn't look like there was any sort of emergency around here...' She headed for an area to eat and found a pub. She sat down at a table to ask some people questions while feeding Eevee some apple slices while she got herself some juice to drink and some lunch to eat.

"I see now. The reason they stopped all the carriages was to prevent citizens from leaving the country at the same time." Alice asked two Adventurers

The one next to her with a dirty blonde hair color nodded.

"Yeah. Cause if the population drops, then so does the number of soldiers." He explained with the second one nodding grimly.

"The higher-ups in Reijseger seem hell-bent on starting wars wherever they please. We're actually planning on hightailing it out of this place soon." The one with the ponytail explained and Alice already knew that Reijseger was bad news but to the point of waging a war all over the country?!

"Truth be told, we're a lot better at hunting monsters than we are at fighting wars." The first adventurer said with a glint of nostalgia and excitement at the word hunt and monster.

"I suggest you get out of here while you still can, kiddo." The second one told her and Alice nodded. No need to tell her twice.

"That's a good idea." She said, tapping her chin. She can probably use Latias to get herself away from this country but she doesn't know the area much and they might get into trouble.

'Glad I decided to leave this country so quickly...' She thought before she looked at Eevee worriedly who was eating the last apple slice.

Monsters... Sure her Pokémon are strong but these monsters seem to be on a different level if people are hunting them.

'They mention monsters, right? I bet a real hero could take them down without breaking a sweat but I'm just a 16 year old Pokémon researcher and former champion. Though I might be able to solve this with money...' She thought hopefully.

After paying for the meal, Alice asked around before she was given directions to a building called Adventurers Guild. She found out it's a place where the two people she ate lunch with work and are called adventurers. She found the building thanks to the sign before she entered though she clutched the strap of her bag tightly. She has told Eevee to stay in the bag who understood but peeked her head out curiously.

She could feel every eye of the Adventurers watching her warily, especially Eevee, before she made it to the front desk where a woman welcomed her with a friendly smile.

"Excuse me, I'm looking to hire a couple of escorts." Alice requested nervously.

"Did I come to the right place to submit a request like that?" She asked as the woman nodded.

"Yes. We can help with the introductions." The woman said with a smile as Alice was relieved.

"Good, because the carriages have been stopped. And I'd like to go to the Kingdom of Veenan on foot." She explained as the lady lifted up a book she opened to look for something.

"In that case, due to the length of the trip, you'd better offer seven gold coins minimum." She explained which made her cringed slightly at the amount.

"That's quite a lot of coins." Alice admitted worriedly. She was worried about how much would be left if she paid 7 gold coins. The lady set the book down to look at her.

"You see... Ever since it was announced that the shared carriage services were suspended, there's been an increase in requests like yours. Considering the high demand, I suggest a reward of eight gold coins to make sure it's accepted." She explained as Alice rubbed the back of her head, sighing heavily but if she doesn't request this, she won't reach the next kingdom alone.

"Very well then." Alice finally relented as she took out the right amount of gold coins from the pouch.

"Eight gold coins." She dropped the coins in the small plate at the desk and the lady nodded.

"Thanks, I have the perfect party in mind for you." She told her before facing at a table to their left to call someone.

"Hey, Werner!" She called as Alice turned to where she was looking.

"Are you available?" She asked who appears to be an Adventurer who was much older and wearing armor and was sitting with two of his party members.

The person she called, Werner, turned when he was called as his party members looked curious as he stood up from his seat to approach the desk as Alice looked up at him in awe. He was cool looking if she was being honest. His hair was a bit of a darker blonde but had the kindest light green eyes that reminded her of a dawn stone.

"This young lady is hiring escorts to go with her to the Kingdom of Veenan. Aren't you heading that way?" The lady asked as Werner eyed Alice curiously, his eyes stopping at the creature whose head was looking at him curiously before looking back at Alice before giving her a friendly smile.

"The name's Werner from Iron Will and I am a C-rank adventurer." He introduced himself and Alice relaxed slightly at his friendly tone plus his aura was non threatening in a light shade of blue.

"Hi, I'm Alice and this is my friend, Eevee." Alice introduced herself and Eevee who yipped happily at Werner.

"Also, if you accept my request, I'll handle all the meals during the journey." She said and was just glad she took on the job of a part time cook when she was done being the champion and a trainer.

'It's not like I hate cooking. And as long as I use my skill, it shouldn't cost too much to feed everyone.' She thought with a smile.

"Sounds great to me!" Werner was surprised but glad as he turned to where two of his party members were sitting and watching them.

"Let me discuss things with my party first. They will probably say yes." He reassured her as Alice smiled happily.

"Thank you very much." She thanked him as Eevee yipped happily.

"Wanna leave now?" Werner asked her, which made her smile sheepishly.

"If possible." She said and Werner nodded.

"Understood. In that case, let's leave in the morning." He decided and they both shook hands.

"Looking forward to it." Alice said as Werner smiled once more.

"Likewise."

After getting some sleep at the inn Werner recommended, Alice met up with Werner who was accompanied by four more people who she can guess are his party members early the next day. She decided to let Eevee sleep in her bag and let Lucario out so he can get some fresh air. They did train a bit with meditation earlier before they met up with Werner since Alice is training to use aura or at least sense the aura of people.

Werner then introduced her to his party, starting with the man behind a red head.

"Our swordsman, Vincent." He started as Vincent gave her a smile.

"Hey there." Werner soon introduced the redhead lady.

"Rita, our scout."

"How do you do?" Rita greeted her energetically despite the early morning.

"This is Ramon, our mage." An older man, probably in his 50s or so, was standing behind Rita next to Vincent.

"Well met." He nodded his greetings before the last member of the party was introduced.

"And Franka, our healer." The last member had blonde hair with stunning and warm green eyes and smiled politely.

"Nice to meet you, young one."

Alice was secretly using her aura sense on them and saw no ill intent. Their auras vary from different yet bright shades of blue. She smiled at them all.

"I'm Alice and the one next to me is a friend, Lucario." She introduced herself and Lucario who grunted but nodded respectfully to Iron Will.

"Is that creature your familiar?" Rita asked her curiously, a little cautious with Lucario but he was just staying next to Alice almost like a protector.

"Um, you could say that." Alice said sheepishly.

"Now, let's get going! Off to the Kingdom of Veenan!" Werner said and everyone nodded.

"Alright." Alice nodded with a smile.

They soon headed out and left Kiels with the sun rising in the sky and before they knew it, it was lunch time and they had stopped to rest and Alice some time to make lunch. Eevee was already wide awake and because of how cute she looks, she won over Franka who was petting her. Lucario stood guard as he was leaning against the tree.

"We'll rest here for a bit." Werner told everyone and they set their bags down to give themselves a break.

"All right then, I'll make us some lunch." Alice said with a smile.

"Wait just a moment, please." She said as she went to a large flat stone.

Once there, she opened her item box and took out a gas stove and a pot. The stove was too modern and strange looking and she was a bit worried. Vincent was the first to notice her skill and was impressed.

"Oh, I see you've got the item box skill, Alice." Vincent said, impressed as he put a hand on the hilt of his sword.

"I was wondering why you were traveling so light." He said as Alice turned to him.

"Huh? Oh yeah, but the amount it can hold is pretty small." She explained as their conversation caught Rita who ran over with Eevee on her head to see what's going on.

"This magic stove looks incredible!" Rita couldn't help but marvel at the gas stove.

"I actually got this from a friend of mine." She said though in truth, she got it from the online grocery.

Magic stove? She looked at the gas stove and remembered how she was purchasing plates, bowls and mugs as well as utensils when she first saw a version of a portable gas stove.

FLASHBACK STARTS;

Alice was at a shop, carrying plates, bowl, spoon and forks as she was looking for something to use for drinking as Lucario was helping with carrying her bag when they spotted the gas stove version in this world.

"Isn't that..." She started but was startled by the shopkeeper who came to her.

"You got good eyes!" He surprised her as she flinched slightly in surprise and Lucario stood next to her, a little protective over his trainer but didn't sense ill intent from the shopkeeper who held the magic stove, explaining the feature about it.

"This is one of our shop's finest items, a rare magic stove! Imbue some magic and it ignites right away!" He explained, showing how it works as his finger glowed a blue color and fire appeared on the runes on the magic stove.

"Hassle-free fire starting on demand!" Alice couldn't help but nod, admiring the detail and design of it.

"Very nice." She nodded, wondering how much it would cost.

"This could be all yours, you know, young lady! For just 50 gold coins!" He said as if reading her mind on the cost and the amount was shocking as she gaped in shock. That much?!

"No way!" There's no way she can afford that stove and she doesn't have enough gold coins to do so!

FLASHBACK ENDS;

'I didn't have 50 gold, so I bought a normal portable gas stove with online grocery instead. The items there from a world called Tokyo are crazy awesome and interesting too.' Alice thought as she smiled with Rita, who continued to marvel at the gas stove.

She turned on the stove and started to cook with Eevee watching her by her feet on the ground, tail wagging excitedly at the smell of lunch.

'Eating something warm is way better than travel rations.' She thought as she cooked soup and made sure that there were plenty of sandwiches for all of them.

"This looks good." Werner said in surprise with how the food looked before everyone soon started to eat. Eevee was eating one of the sandwiches enthusiastically with Lucario munching on another.

When Werner took the first bite of the food, he didn't expect how delicious it tasted or how soft the bread was along with the filling between it. Franka and the others were taken aback with how good it is. The burst of flavor hitting their taste buds is so unreal!

"It's so delicious." Franka said in surprise and delight after she took a bite of the sandwich.

Ramon was drinking the onion soup Alice made and the flavor was so delicious and has a rich flavor to it.

"This soup you've made has a rich and hearty flavor." He couldn't help but compliment which made Alice smile, glad those lessons and additional studies she did when cooking paid off with how they're reacting.

"That's great to hear." She said with a smile while behind her, a box of empty packets from the Tokyo world lay behind her. The soup she made was instant onion soup. She made sure to taste it first just to make sure it was safe for Iron Will to eat it.

"I'm glad it's to your taste." She told them with a smile.

"Whoa, I've never eaten bread like this before! It's so soft!" Vincent exclaimed in surprise and delight as Rita popped the last bit of her sandwich in her mouth, nodding happily at how the bread was so delicious and soft as he reached for another after finishing his first one.

"Oh. It's something I brought from my hometown that I had been keeping in my item box." She explained so casually.

That made Werner's eyes widened in shock and surprise. The bread was from her hometown and she's sharing it with them and letting them eat something so precious without anything in return?

"And you're sharing it with us." He said, feeling guilt for eating something that might be so precious to her.

Alice turned to her in surprise, sensing guilt in his town but she smiled at him reassuringly. She doesn't mind sharing the bread, plus she can always get more from online grocery whenever she feels like having bread with meals.

"Of course, good food should be shared after all." She reassured him with a smile.

Werner searched her eyes but found nothing but sincerity and the willingness to share something so precious in her eyes and that smile of hers was warm. He couldn't help but smile back.

"In that case, I won't hold back." He said as he resumed eating.

"Turns out taking this job was a smart move especially with the strange creatures." Rita said with a smile as they were soon almost done eating. Eevee was on Alice's shoulder after eating her fill with Lucario sitting next to her.

"At first, I thought it was pretty lame to have to escort an ordinary looking girl that's also too young to venture on her own." Vincent admitted and Werner looked taken aback by his party member's attitude.

"Vincent!" Werner scolded him but Alice reassured him once more.

"Oh no! I'd feel the same in his shoes." She said with a small laugh as Werner turned to her.

"I'm sure you have your own reasons for leaving the kingdom by yourself." He said as he looked at his group.

"We won't pry into your business." He reassured her.

"Thanks, I appreciate that a lot, Werner." Alice thanked him.

"I will say, I'm looking forward to our meals." Werner said, excitement in his tone and Alice felt glad that she made Werner and the others satisfied with the simple lunch she made.

"You can count me." She said with a smile.

"Vee!" Eevee squeaked happily with Lucario nodding in agreement.

With lunch done, they resumed their journey to the border. They were walking through the forest with Rita at the front before the rustling of trees made her look confused yet her entire body tensed up slightly. Lucario sensed something was up as well and Rita motioned for everyone to stop which they did so and Lucario and Eevee tensed, sensing something was amiss.

Soon two large Venomoth-like creatures burst out of the trees and Alice almost issued Lucario and Eevee to attack on instincts but refrained herself since these creatures weren't Pokémon but are one of the monsters she might encounter in her journey. Werner and Vincent moved immediately, swords out of the sheathes and sliced the creatures in half. The green liquid that came from the things smells like poison and it made Alice cringed but she couldn't help but marvel at the teamwork the two have.

One half of the creatures fell right in front of her which caused her to jump back in shock at how gross it actually was. She was used to Bug types but a monster-like Venomoth that was actually killed scared her a little since it was still twitching.

Eevee was a bit startled at the brutality even Lucario was tensed. Franka didn't hesitate to start healing Werner and Vincent from the effects of the monster moth's green blood since their hands seemed a bit irritated.

Rita had scouted ahead to check something before she cunning back with a serious expression.

"Red Boar ahead." She reported, looking back to where she went.

"Something has got it really worked up." She explained. Alice heard the words Red Boar and couldn't help but think of the Tepig and Spoink evolution line, along with Lechonk.

'Boar? Like the Tepig, Spoink evolution line and Lechonk?' Alice thought in confusion.

"It's not a big enough threat that we need to avoid it." Werner said before he turned to Ramon.

"Ramon, can you send it here?" He asked the mage who turned but got his wand ready.

"Of course." He said before Alice went to Werner.

"Werner, is it alright if Lucario and Eevee help?" She asked him.

He turned to her in confusion before looking at the creatures with her. He couldn't shake the feeling that there's more to them than meets the eye.

"Are you sure?" He asked her and she nodded.

"I am." She said and turned to Lucario and Eevee who nodded.

When Ramon used a spell, a big red boar came out of the bushes as it roared upon seeing them and Rita immediately moved out of the way. The sheer size shocked Alice into disbelief.

"It's enormous!" She exclaimed in shock as Werner stepped in front of her,

"Alice, please stand back." He told her as Franka put a hand on her shoulder.

"Stay with me." She said as Alice nodded

Lucario and Eevee, despite having no battle experience against monster-like creatures in this new world, charged towards the Red Boar.

Eevee jumped in the air and launched a Swift attack, stars appearing and shooting at the Red Boar who was stunned from the attack. Lucario charged with two elongated bones appearing out of nowhere and wielded it like weapons and struck it before the two backed off so Werner and Vincent could attack. Both sword welders charged at the Red Boar who was charging towards them and attacked. Their swords clashed against it before Werner bashed the side of its face with his shield before Vincent used his sword to slashed it across the snout.

Alice watched in awe as Lucario and Eevee assisted the two with either long distance and close range attacks. With enough attacks, the Red Boar soon fell to the side, defeated with Werner and Vincent and her two Pokémon as the victors.

"You took it down so fast..." She said in shock and surprise. Eevee was happy as she ran to Alice and jumped into her arms while Lucario simply walked to them and Alice patted Eevee's head as Lucario nodded.

"We should get to work bleeding it out right away." Rita said as she went to start the process and Alice had to cover Eevee's eyes to avoid her being scarred while Lucario looked away.

It took a few minutes but they were done. The boar was skinned and the meat was cut up along with the tusks and fangs. Everything looked so well done with the processing.

"Not too shabby." Werner said, proud of the processing.

"The hide and fangs of a red boar should fetch us a decent price." He explained as Eevee poked the meat with her paw in confusion.

"Shame about the meat, though." Vincent said, looking up at Werner as Alice looked at the meat that might be good ingredients for meals.

"We can only eat a little before it turns." He said as Werner nodded.

"It can't be helped." He said, much to Alice's pity. That's going to be a waste of perfectly good meat.

"Such a waste." She said softly as she knelt down to look at the Red Boar meat, her mind quickly going through different recipes that feet the category.

"Hold on, why don't we put it all in my item box?" She suggested with a smile and an idea for tonight's dinner as Werner looked at her curiously.

"That would help us out a great deal." He admitted. He had heard rumors that items when stored in an item box won't go bad.

"It'll be tight, but it should fit." Alice said sheepishly.

'Is what I'll have everyone believe.' She thought, since she knows that her item box could fit a lot of stuff.

They arrived at what appeared to be ruins and the sun was setting already.

"Let's have dinner a little bit earlier today." Alice told them as Eevee yawned sleepily, while Lucario sat down on a fallen pillar.

"Are you going to be preparing more of that bread?" Werner asked her hopefully but Alice smiled mysteriously. She has something in mind other than what they eat for lunch earlier.

"I have something else in mind tonight, actually. You'll see." She told him.

They gathered firewood first but Alice felt a little tense as Iron Will was watching her, wanting to know how dinner would be prepared and she felt a bit nervous about starting.

She turned to them with a nervous expression.

"It's embarrassing with everyone watching me. Could you please wait over there until I finish cooking?" She asked much to Iron Will's disappointment but they obeyed, understanding that she needs privacy to cook the meal.

They wanted to see what she would cook but the need for privacy was understood. With their backs turned, Alice felt a little more relieved to start cooking but the reason why she needed privacy is because she needed to get a few ingredients from the online grocery.

'Truth be told, I just don't want others to see me use ingredients from my online grocery.' She thought before she turned on the stove to pre-heat the pot before she soon got to cooking.

'First, I'll saute the bacon. Then add the cabbage and carrots I got on sale. Now to cook the potatoes through...' She said as she dropped some pieces of the meat in the pot before adding the prepared cabbage and carrots that she sliced into the pot before adding the right amount of water and seasoning.

"Oh, whoops, I almost forgot to add the sausage." She said as she did so. She used a small plate to taste the flavor of the soup and nodded. It was perfect and on her first try too!

"The Pot-Au-Feu is done." She said loudly, announcing that dinner was ready.

{Otherworldly Sausage-Packed: Pot-Au-Feu and Bread}

She served everyone bowls of steaming hot soup as everyone has a plate of the bread from lunch.

"Careful, everyone. It's hot." She warned them.

"Right." Franka understood as Alice gave her the first bowl before handing it to Rita who accepted it eagerly.

"Oh wow, we're having soup?" Rita looks excited. The smell was also great and delicious!

"Pot-Au-Feu, actually." Alice corrected her politely.

"It's a kind of sausage and vegetable stew I used to eat back home." She explained. With everyone having their bowl of Pot-Au-Feu, everyone was excited to dig in.

"Thank you for the food."

Rita slurped the soup of the Pot-Au-Feu slowly since it was a bit hot but at the right temperature to drink the soup safely without burning her tongue. Vincent took a bite of the sausage with Franka taking a tentative bite of the potato. Iron Will was silent for a moment as Eevee and Lucario were confused, eating their portion of the stew as Alice grew a bit worried.

"What's wrong? I can make something else if you don't like it." She suggested before the silence and stillness was broken as Vincent was scaring down the contents in his bowl animatedly.

"Alice, this is delicious! Can I get seconds?" Vincent exclaimed in delight as he showed her his empty bow, clearly wanting more.

"Hey, I want more too!" Rita agreed, even Werner agreed.

"If you happen to have any left..." He said as Alice was surprised by how they reacted. Was it that good?

"Uh, is it that good?" She asked. Eevee squeaked and pushed her empty bowl to her training, clearly wanting some more too even Lucario was agreeing.

"Under normal circumstances, we'd go ages eating nothing but dried meat and hard bread on the raw." Ramon explained.

"It's such a nice change of pace to have something warm to eat." Even Franka agreed as Alice was refilling the empty bowls with the Pot-Au-Feu.

"I'm glad you like it." She smiled happily as Rita was winding up her left arm.

"I don't know if it's because of all the good food we've been eating but my body's a lot lighter than usual." She admitted. Ever since they have been eating meals that Alice has been making and after, her body feels strangely lighter than before.

"It feels as if my exhaustion has melted away." Franka said, agreeing with Rita. Usually, she always feels exhausted yet the meals they have been eating seem to make her exhaustion go away.

"Awesome. That's really great to hear." Alice was glad as she brought over a tray of more Pot-Au-Feu as Eevee and Lucario were eating their refilled bowls happily.

Alice paused a bit after processing what Rita and Franka said. Rita feels lighter after eating her meals and Franka feeling more energized after the exhaustion faded after each meal?

'They're acting like they've taken some kind of energy supplement but I didn't add anything.' Alice thought in confusion.

"Well, they say that eating delicious food can easily affect a person's frame of mind." Ramon told them as he started to eat again as Alice looked at them all worriedly. What's causing such an effect on her new friends?

She remembered that she can use appraisal on people, even objects.

'Maybe I should try using appraisal...' She thought as she checked Rita's who was eagerly eating her second helping of Pot-Au-Feu.

[Name] Rita

[Age] 16

[Job] Scout

[Level] 18 [Strength] 135 (+27)

[Magic] 64 (+2) [Defense] 107

[Attack] 119 [Agility] 138

[Skill] Dagger Skill, Eavesdrop, Silent Step

The sight of her plus stats made Alice spit out her stew in shock as she coughed much to everyone's confusion and concern.

"Are you okay, Alice? What happened?" Vincent asked in concern.

"Sorry, it went down the wrong pipe." She said, coughing as she wiped her mouth, still shocked.

'Why are her stats like that? Is it because she ate my food?' She thought in shock before she used appraisal on the stew.

[Pot-Au-Feu] Pot-Au-Feu made with Otherworldly ingredients. Increases Strength by approximately 20% for 1 hour.

[Sausage] Otherworldly sausage. Increase MP approximately 2% for 10 minutes.

The buffs from it shocked her as she stared at it in disbelief.

'Maybe it was the Pot-Au-Feu?' She thought in shock as she started to worry.

'Now that I think about it... This is pretty dangerous. Technically, to them, this food is from another world. It even increases stats like Strength and MP...' Alice thought as she watched Iron Will talk, having a dinner that unknowingly increases their stats.

'If anyone were to find out about this... It would definitely for sure turn out badly for me!' She panics as she imagines scenarios where she's captured and enslaved and forced to use her unique skill against her will.

'I have to keep this a secret from everyone!' She started to eat her dinner quickly, trying to focus on the stew rather than her thoughts. She knows she's safe with her Pokémon knowing of her unique skill but she doesn't want other people to know.

They were unaware that they were being watched by something.

A creature was hiding in the shadows of the trees, watching the small group of humans eating something that caught its attention earlier. The smell of something being cooked and it smelled delicious had caught its attention from its usual hunt and he stayed hidden when the food was cooked. He had observed the humans but importantly the human who had the scent of panic and slight fear and worry with two strange creatures it had never seen before. Its emerald eyes glowed in the darkness, watching the humans. It needs to observe the humans more, especially the one who seemed young to be out traveling.

The next day, they were off and back to traveling and Alice introduced them to more of her Pokemon. She introduced them one by one to Ninetales who Franka immediately adored with how beautiful she looks.

They crossed a bridge made of wooden logs with Vulpix after Ninetales refused to cross the bridge due to being a fire type and Alice let Vulpix out to let her take in the sight.

"We should reach the Kingdom of Veenan in a few days. Once we cross the border, the nearest town is a half day's travel."

They climbed a rocky slope before they have reached a clearing that was by a mountain by nightfall as Werner turned to everyone who was slightly exhausted and Alice recalled Vulpix secretly and let Bolt, her Pikachu out as he stood next to Lucario with Eevee squeaking.

"We'll be moving through the forest. It'll be best if we set up camp here for the night." He told everyone and Rita immediately got to work.

"Right, I'll go find us some water." She said as she ran off to find a stream to get them some water to use as Vincent stepped up next.

"Sounds good. I'll get working on the fire." Vincent said as he went to find firewood for them to use as light.

"And I'll start prepping dinner for us. How does the Red Boar meat sound?" Alice soon volunteered much to their excitement and surprise. Her meals are always exquisite and to get to eat Red Boar meat in her ways of cooking excites them immensely.

"Great! I can't wait to try it." Werner said excitedly.

With a fire going thanks to Vincent, Alice got to work while her Pokémon played with Iron Will, especially Bolt who was giving Vincent a friendly shock of a tiny gentle Thunderbolt which surprised him but felt that it didn't hurt as he thought.

Alice first took out a chopping board and the gas stove out of her item box before she took out a whole pound of the Red Boar meat and set it on the chopping board as she checked the sharpness of the knife to see if it was sharp enough.

'It's safer not to tell anyone about the ingredients I get from the online grocery. I'll try to use things from this world as much as possible...' She thought as she soon started to slice the meat into even slices.

'I can prepare this meat like pork... First I'll cut it into thin slices. I won't worry too much about any uneven cuts.' She sliced the meat to what she hoped was the perfect slices of the meat.

She ordered a bottle of sauce from what she saw in her online grocery and she picked one that said ginger sauce and she had to read it a bit to see that it's used to marinate meat to make it taste delicious.

'Now the next step...' Alice smiled as she open cap and poured the contents of the small sauce bottle on the meat that was in a bowl and left it alone to let it marinate in the sauce.

'While the slice meat is marinating, I'll julienne this cabbage-like vegetable I found while foraging.' She sliced a cabbage-like vegetable and set the sliced portion aside. She looked down and found Bolt looking up her curiously.

"Pika pi?" He asked her curiously.

"Just cooking dinner, buddy. You'll love it." She told him and Bolt smiled eagerly and nodded as Alice tried the vegetable she sliced and checked how it tasted and found that it was the same as cabbage.

"Mmm, this will be perfect." She said in content.

"Ginger-Fried Pork isn't just the same without cabbage." She soon purchased a frying pan and turned on the stove.

'Then it's time to heat up the frying pan with a bit of vegetable oil. Once it's hot enough...' She soon moved the bowl with the marinated meat and used chopsticks to pick up a piece of marinated meat.

'We'll add the marinated meat.' She carefully set the meat down in the heated pan. When the meat made contact with the hot pan, it started to sizzle and the smell immediately caught Vincent and Werner who were in shock with how it smelled. It smells so good!

"I smell something delicious!" Werner exclaimed in shock as he looked in the direction was coming from while Vincent dropped the wood for the fire in shock.

"This'll definitely taste amazing!" Vincent said, his hands were practically shaking.

Lucario was sniffing the air as he looked in Alice's direction even Eevee and Bolt were excited for the meal they're all going to eat. Alice had added two more meat in the pan and kept an eye on it to make sure it wasn't burnt.

"I have to make sure the meat is completely covered in the sauce." Alice muttered in satisfaction.

The creature, from a few nights ago, had finally caught up to the group and the smell of something cooking that seemed to be meat had drawn it in as it watched them below from the top of the cliff.

"And because of how hot the pan is, the marinate will caramelize around the meat." Once it was done, Alice had served it on a plate with a perfect helping of the sliced cabbage-like vegetables with a slice of bread and cup of soup.

"It's done." She said in triumph as she presented everyone their plates of Ginger-Fried Red Boar.

{Ginger-Fried Red Boar}

The sight of their dinner shocked Iron Will at how it looked as Vincent gulped nervously. It smelled good with how strange it looked as they accepted their plates with the Ginger-Fried Red Boar.

"Thank you for the food."

They all each took a piece of meat with their forks and took their first bite and the new flavors especially the taste of the meat exploded in their mouth that it shocked them so much at how extremely delicious it is.

"What the hell is this?! It's so freakin' tasty!" Vincent shouted in delight and shock.

"So good!" Werner exclaimed in disbelief.

"I've never had such delicious meat before!" Rita shouted in shock as the three of them ate with gusto at how delicious it was. How can meat from a Red Boar be this good?! This is practically criminal with how extremely delicious it is!

"You know, I usually don't like Red Boar meat, but I just can't get enough of it. This dish is incredible." Franka admitted to Alice as she ate hers happily without hesitation.

Lucario, Eevee and Pikachu were in the same boat with everyone at how good it is. They usually eat Pokémon food just for them that keeps them in a healthy diet but Alice didn't find anything of the sort on online grocery other than pokepuffs and dessert but this food is their new favorite especially how good it was prepared.

Alice watched everyone eat with excitement as she chewed thoughtfully.

'All I did was pan fry it in pre-made marinate. They should be thanking this company, EBARA food.' She thought, glad that the meal was enough to blow them away.

"This is the first time I've eaten cabbet raw but I must say this combination goes very well together." Ramon said in content as he ate the meat and sliced cabbet together. The freshness of the raw cabbet and combined with the cooked meat taste absolutely amazing.

"The juices from the cooked pork give it an amazing flavor." Vincent said as he ate his happily.

"I just had a wonderful idea!" Werner said as he used the bread and put a piece of the cooked Red Boar and some cabbet in the bread and folded it to make a sandwich before he took a hearty bite and it was even better with the bread.

"Delicious." He groaned in content at the deliciousness.

"I want to try it too!" Rita said, seeing how their leader made the sandwich and decided to do the same and she was extremely happy at how good it tasted while Franka sipped her soup.

"And the soup is so refreshing that it washes the heaviness of the meat. I feel like I could keep eating this forever!" She said in joy as Vincent nodded in agreement.

"You said it!" He said happily.

The creature from earlier watched them eat that delicious smelling food from the shadows and finally decided to show itself to that young human.

"By the way, Ramon, you referred to this vegetable as a... cabbet, right?" Alice asked him curiously. She didn't notice the shocked gasps from both Werner and Ramon as their expressions morphed into what looked like fear and shock when they saw something was standing right behind her.

They weren't the only ones as Franka had dropped her fork in shock and fear with Rita and Vincent staring at something behind Alice in shock. Even Lucario, Eevee and Bolt were staring at something behind their trainer with wide eyes.

"In my wor- I mean, in my hometown, we would call it a cabbage. Um, what?" Alice had finally noticed that everyone was looking at something and seemed to be scared but mostly for her.

"Don't... Don't move!" Werner whispered in fear, continuing to stare at something behind her fearfully.

"What's wrong?" She asked in confusion as Werner shakily pointed to something behind her.

"B-Behind you!" He pointed and Alice finally turned around and came face to face with a growling yet large creature.

The sight shocked her so much that she gaped in shock and disbelief. She didn't feel fear but she was mostly shocked as she sensed that its aura was powerful, close to a legendary Pokémon!

Its fur was a light shade of silvery blue with a white underbelly, snout, two spots over its eyes, the fur on its legs were a shade of royal crimson red and mark on its forehead the inside of its ears were purple and has emerald green eyes with dark blue pupils and black lightning shaped marks from the corner of its eyes that ended by the ears.

Its magnificent fur billowed in an unforeseen wind as it growled softly, staring Alice down with a stare that would scare anyone as its eyes and the mark were glowing ominously before its jaws opened, speaking in human tongue.

"Come forward, human. You would do well to listen." He ordered, addressing Alice who was just staring in shock and she could have sworn Ramon spoke something about the creature.

"A Fenrir..."

"I wish to feast upon that dish you've made. Can you not hear me? The dish! Bring it to me!" The creature, Fenrir, ordered but Alice could have sworn it was more of a demand.

Alice looked to Werner who was in disbelief by her lack of fear towards a powerful creature but he nodded. It's best to obey the Fenrir than anger it. Alice picked up her plate and offered the Fenrir her dinner carefully, staring at it.

"Here you go." She said shakily yet calmly, not wanting to anger him.

She backed up as the Fenrir took the three meat from the plate and scared it down easily. The male Fenrir didn't show it but he was shocked at how delicious the meat was. It's nothing like he had ever eaten before! He must have more! He stared down at the human girl that offered him the plate and was surprised at how young she is and she was with the two creatures from the first time he had seen her but with a rodent with a strange lightning bolt shaped tail but the important thing in her mind is that he needs more of that meat the human girl had made.

"I hunger still!" He said, clearly wanting more.

Alice turned to Werner who nodded once more out of fear.

"Do it, girl!" He whispered as Alice turned to the Fenrir.

"I'm sorry. I'll have to make a whole new batch. Could you please wait a moment?" She asked the Fenrir politely as he stared at her down. He could see no fear towards him nor ill intent as well.

"Do not test my patience." He said but he nodded and Alice nodded as well as she immediately got to work in making a new batch of Ginger-Fried Red Boar.

"Thank you." She said as she ran to remake a new batch of the meal.

She has a large plate that fit an entire part of the Red Boar meat as she offered the new batch to him.

"Please, enjoy." She said and was taken by surprise at how fast he immediately went for the meal and ate it immediately. He liked his jaws, it was not enough.

"More! Quickly!" He said and Alice couldn't help but snort.

"Yes!" She said as she made the next batch quickly.

"Enjoy."

She set the new batch down on the ground once it was done and he immediately started to eat it without hesitation once again.

"More!"

"Right away!"

She made a third batch while Iron Will watched from a safe place, watching in disbelief and shock as Alice didn't seem to fear the Fenrir.

"Enjoy!"

The Fenrir ate it again and stared right at her once he finished.

"I want more." He told her and she nodded.

"Okay." She just nodded and got to work.

This went back and forth with how he demanded that he wanted more and Alice didn't hesitate to cook him up several rounds of the meal and with how he was eating them without hesitation like no tomorrow, she couldn't help but see a snorlax in his position which just made her amused.

"More! More!"

"Yes!"

"More! More! More! More!"

After the last batch, the Fenrir was soon satisfied as he sighed in content and relief as his hunger had been satisfied for now thanks to the human girl. His face was a bit of a mess thanks to the ginger sauce used on the meat as he looked at the girl who was resting slightly on a rock after cooking him such a large amount of Ginger-Fried Red Boar.

"That was rather delicious." He told her as Alice was tired as she groaned from cooking so much.

"I'm glad you liked it..." She said tiredly as Eevee, Bolt and Lucario came to her side.

'His appetite could rival a Snorlax!' She thought in her head.

"I am most impressed. You were able to satisfy my hunger which such a paltry amount of meat. I can still scarcely believe it." He said and Alice lifted her head up to stare at him in disbelief. That meat would have lasted longer if it weren't for his Snorlax-like appetite.

"You call that paltry? Your appetite could rival a Snorlax." She couldn't help but quipped back as Eevee snickered with Bolt while Lucario huffed.

The Fenrir looked confused by what she meant. What's a Snorlax?

"I do not know what a Snorlax is but you interest me. I shall form a contract with you." He told her much to her confusion. Contract? What kind of contract?

"Huh?" Was all she managed to say as she was confused by what he meant.

"What's that?" She asked him curiously and her curiosity and confusion just amused him. She had strange creatures yet her confusion and curiosity and lack of fear towards a beast as himself amused him.

"Such ignorance for a young one like yourself. I said that I would form a familiar contract with you." He clarified what he said much to Iron Will's shock and disbelief.

A Familiar Contract is a big deal especially with a Fenrir!

"Familiar contract?" Alice questioned in confusion.

'No way... This is a creature that can talk and makes even Werner's party to freeze in their tracks. Not to mention that the way he holds himself applies he can be on the same level of a Legendary Pokemon... How can I form a contract with a being like that?!' She thought in disbelief. She might just have to refuse.

"Oh, thank you. But the truth is-" She wanted to refuse but the look he gave her made her pause. Was... Was he seriously not taking no for an answer?!

"I mean, I think that-" The same look he gave her cut her off again which was both a bit annoying yet hilarious but it irked her a little. He was definitely not taking no for an answer.

She looked to where Iron Will was hiding to see what they would think. They just nodded all together which caused her to sigh.

'Oh man, looks like I don't have much of a choice here...' She thought as she looked back at the Fenrir.

"So you and I shall form a contract. Understood?" He said as Alice just sighed heavily. Looks like she'll have to accept it whether she likes it or not.

"I understand." She told him. Satisfied with her answer, he sat down on his haunches and used his right paw to pat the spot in front of him.

"Hmm. Very well, stand before me." He instructed her as Alice got up from the ground and walked towards him as Eevee looked at the giant creature in awe as she stayed on Alice's head and the Fenrir stared right back at the small silver creature on his new master's head. Such a peculiar creature yet he doesn't sense a Familiar Contract between the creature and the human.

Once Alice stood in front of him, he leaned his forehead forward as he closed his eyes, the mark on his head started to glow as Alice stared in awe before she closed her eyes on instinct as the Fenrir pressed their foreheads together as the mark glowed brightly and the contract has been formed between them, a mark on Alice's shoulder in the Fenrir's silhouette appeared under her clothes.

Once it was established, the Fenrir pulled back as Alice stared at the white aura that surrounded her. She can feel an immense amount of power coming from the Fenrir.

"The familiar contract has been sealed." He said as the white aura dissipated as she turned looked at him as he lay down like a feline on the ground.

"You are now entirely responsible for my well-being and daily needs. I hope you're prepared." He said expectantly as she blinked in confusion.

"You're well-being? But how?" She questioned him. The pieces were coming together now and she already knew the answer before he could say it.

"I look forward to enjoying many more meals as good as this one." The Fenrir finally said as Alice stared at him in disbelief.

So he formed a Familiar Contract with her in hopes of getting to enjoy the meals she'll cook?! She stared at him in disbelief as he stared right back with confidence.
