Chapter 150 - Chapter 150: Information Exchange

Seeing Tsunade's reaction, Minato calmly took a sip of his tea.

Tsunade sat up straight, her face dark. She hadn't expected her counterpart in another world to be so perverted. A single slap from her would probably make him scream!

And the most crucial part was the age of the man before her.

"Speaking of which, when did this... this twisted relationship begin?" Tsunade couldn't help but ask.

"There were signs soon after you became my teacher, but it only intensified recently."

Minato shook his head and sighed. "But rest assured, only Orochimaru knows about this."

"Isn't that even worse? That vile creature—" Tsunade was speechless.

"I have a good relationship with Senior Orochimaru."

Minato explained, "Although he defected in this world, in my world, he's the current leader of Root."

Tsunade scoffed. "What's the difference between that and a mouse getting into a granary?"

"Don't worry, I've been cooperating with him since I was five," Minato said confidently. "Although he showed early signs of turning to the dark side, I managed to dissuade him. All his human experiments were conducted with my and Teacher's assistance, so there was never any risk of him losing control."

"Even Orochimaru's fate is different..." Tsunade's tone was complex. "The differences between worlds are truly vast."

"As far as I can tell, the only difference between these two worlds is my ability," Minato explained. "Because I possess two Kekkei Genkai, Danzo tried to control me by targeting those close to me. I eliminated him early on, and I was designated as a Hokage candidate long ago."

"So, power truly is the key to changing one's fate..." Tsunade couldn't help but sigh.

Based on Minato's account, apart from him, the personalities of the people and the social development in the two worlds were almost identical.

With Minato as the sole variable, Tsunade felt there must be some connection between these two worlds.

"But speaking of which, you and I—"

Tsunade paused, a faint blush creeping onto her face.

"What about Kushina? Since you've met Naruto, you must know who his parents are, right? You and I—we're that kind of relationship. So what's your relationship with Kushina?"

"We're dating," Minato replied calmly.

Tsunade immediately grew agitated. "I don't even know how to face that girl! What are you planning to do? Just keep two women on the side like this?"

"Three," Minato corrected.

"???"

Watching Minato's serene expression, Tsunade tilted her head, utterly stunned.

What on earth is he talking about?!

Noticing her confusion, Minato explained gently, "I'm currently dating both Kushina and Mikoto. And privately, I'm still the Teacher's—uh, slave owner."

"..."

"..."

Hearing this, Tsunade felt her temples throb. She instinctively pressed her fingers against them.

"Hold on! Mikoto? The Mikoto I know—there's only one. Don't tell me—"

"Uchiha Mikoto."

"—"

Hearing that familiar name, Tsunade's last shred of hope shattered. "How did you all end up together?"

"Danzo pushed the Uchiha too hard. It was just before World War II, and to stabilize the village and maintain relations with the Uchiha, Senior Orochimaru took Mikoto as his disciple and assigned her to me as my bodyguard—"

"Okay, got it—"

Tsunade raised a hand, signaling Minato to stop.

She could roughly imagine the process. With Minato's outstanding qualities, it would be hard for any woman to resist him.

Though Fugaku was the Uchiha Clan Heir, he was still far inferior to Minato. As a woman with eyes, she knew exactly how to choose.

She had no interest in how Minato managed to keep both of them in line. After all, even her counterpart in another world had fallen for him. No matter how absurd their relationship might seem, it couldn't be more absurd than her own with Minato.

"Last question," Tsunade asked, getting to her main point. "When do you plan to return? You're Minato from another world, but you can't stay here forever, can you? That's why those old geezers sent me back. They're all on edge because of Naruto—Ha! Serves them right!"

She couldn't help but scoff.

"If it weren't for the news of you coming back from the dead, I wouldn't bother dealing with them."

"Resurrected from the dead..." Minato murmured, lightly stroking his chin. "How far has this news spread?"

"You haven't been concealing your appearance at all," Tsunade replied. "By now, every village must know."

"I plan to train Naruto a bit longer."

Minato shook his head. "Besides, I'm waiting for someone."

"The one from the night of the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox Incident?"

"Exactly."

"Are you so sure he'll come?"

"Absolutely."

Minato nodded. He naturally knew the identity of the mastermind behind the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox Incident. With Obito's intelligence, learning of his existence would surely make him unable to resist peeking. After all, both resurrection and parallel world travel would likely cause him intense emotional turmoil.

"I need to gather some intel from the future as well. If we were in the same timeline, I wouldn't bother, but now that our worlds are completely separate parallel universes, I have to gather more information."

This was merely an excuse.

No one knew Obito better than Minato.

He simply wanted to test Obito's strength.

"I understand," Tsunade nodded, then couldn't help but sigh. "You're so lucky. My counterpart in that other world... even if she's a pervert, you absolutely mustn't tell anyone about this!"

"Of course."

Minato smiled.

At that moment, he really wanted to say, "Teacher Tsunade, you wouldn't want anyone to know you're a pervert, would you?"

But the feelings he shared with his own Teacher had gradually developed over the years through mutual teasing and probing.

The Tsunade before him would probably have exploded on the spot.

Moreover, this world's Tsunade only looked young; she was actually in her late fifties or early sixties.

His own Teacher, on the other hand, was still in her prime, vibrant and youthful. There was no need to "dumb it down" for her.

However, Tsunade seemed deeply interested in her alternate-world counterpart, pestering Minato with questions about that other world.

She asked about Nawaki, Kushina, him and Minato, and even gossip about Minato's two-timing—

Only as dusk settled did she reluctantly let Minato leave, still wanting more.

Glancing at the darkening sky outside, Tsunade suddenly felt a pang of weariness.

Compared to the other world, this one felt rather dull.

Most of the people she cherished were already gone.

Minato's appearance, at least, had stirred a flicker of warmth in her heart, which had been cold and lifeless for years.

Whoosh—

A figure suddenly materialized in the courtyard. The Anbu ninja nodded slightly. "Lady Tsunade, the Third Hokage requests your presence."

"Tell him to get lost!"

Tsunade flopped onto the tatami mat.

She had only returned to see Minato and inquire about her alternate self; she had no intention of helping the Third Hokage with his affairs.

Knowing that her other self was doing well was enough.
