(Kinryu's POV)
"I refuse." I said
I was in the meeting room with the Jujutsu Higher Ups, having been summoned to discuss the "Future of the Jujutsu World. But it was something ridiculous and stupid.
"We beg your pardon, Kinryu Benihime?" one of them said, behind their canvas screen, "Did you say that you refuse????"
I nodded, crossing my arms, "I'm glad that your age doesn't get rid of your hearing." I said, "I told you that I refuse that order."
"We command you to hunt down the Curse User known as Suguru Geto." one of them repeated the order, "And bring forth the curse users that follow him for execution. Nobody but other Special Grade Sorcerers are capable of doing so. And you are the only one we trust that can counter Geto's Curse Manipulation."
"The others can fight her as well, why not ask them?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, "What's with me, hm?"
"Satoru Gojo and Yuki Tsukumo are not compatible with this task." one of them said, "We tasked the two of them with the task back when Geto defected, neither of them succeeded."
"For a good reason." I muttered
"We remind you that dwelling on past emotions with that woman will not end well for you." An old fuck said, "So do well and cast them aside, bring Suguru Geto to us for execution. That is an order."
"And I refuse." I said, "I will not kill her."
"The further she is allowed to linger free, the more danger is imminent for the Jujutsu World." one of them explained, "There is a great danger lurking, one that we must pinpoint in order to be rid of it. If Geto gets her hands on that power, many lives will die."
"And I told you." I said with a scowl, "I will not kill an old friend."
"Enough!!" one of them yelled, "You are in no position to refuse-"
"Enough of this shit." I said with annoyance, "Need I remind you that the last time you tried to force your authority upon me, it did not end well. There is a reason why I am a Special Grade Sorcerer, on the frontlines, while you are hiding behind your barriers and nepotism. The only reason all of you are alive is that we Sorcerers put our lives on the line to protect not just the innocents, but you! So let's move on from this fucking topic before I bring out the ability that made me the Special Grade."
There was a tense silence, one that was only broken by the gulps and clearing of throats.
"Very well." one of them said, "This is not over. We will hunt down Suguru Geto."
"Good luck with that." I said with a scowl
"The next topic is the Three Great Houses." One to my right said, "They have grown rather restless, we must admit. They seek the power of your Cursed Technique."
"Tell me about it." I said, crossing my arms
"The Gojo Clan elders advise their current 'head' to marry Satoru Gojo to you." Another said, "But Satoru is the true authority in that one, and she is rather indecisive."
"Her crippled grand-uncle?" I said, "Yea, it's dumb how she was not made Head."
"She refused the official position." another mentioned
"I don't want to talk about the Gojo Clan and their desire to have me in their bloodline." I said
"The Kamo and Zenin Clan have placed their bids on you." One said, "While we encourage of cultivating the power of your Cursed Technique, that is not something we have complete authority over. If you wish to accept any of their offers, which are quite handsome, then do as you please. But know this, you are bound to the Jujutsu World. Ensure that you make the correct decisions, Kinryu Benihime."
"Sure sure." I said with an annoyed tone, "Know this, any decision I make is my own. I have the power and freedom to do so, do you understand?"
"So shut the fuck up and sit back."

"So you're in the business of eavesdropping?" I said as I walked out of the building, "Satoru...."
I looked to my side, seeing that she was leaning against the wall, underneath a tree's shadow.
She had her sunglasses on, glancing at me with her ethereal eyes, "Kinryu." She said, "They want you to hunt Geto....."
I nodded as I walked over to her, "Yes." I said, "What do you think of that?"
She looked to the side, "I'm glad you chose not to." She said, "She is our friend. And she's lost, Kinryu. You know that."
I nodded, "I do."
She sighed, "And as for the other topic."
"We don't have to speak about it." I said without wasting a moment, "Satoru, that is not something we should worry about. They do have a point, you know. If Geto finds out about the lurking danger, she will make a move."
She looked at me, "What do you want me to do about that?"
"We either find Geto or find the lurking danger." I said, "It's that simple. Finding that dangerous thing and controlling is our only way."
"And if we find Geto first?" She asked, "Will you kill her? Will you kill-"
"Shh." I cut her off, placing my finger on her lips, "Don't say that. I won't hurt her."
"But she vowed to kill you." She said, "She...."
"She's the ultimate Yandere." I said with a chuckle, "That damned woman."
"Kinryu...." She said
"Don't think I'm stupid." I said, "I know you're training Megumi Fushiguro, to have his Ten Shadows ready for Geto should we encounter her. But I don't think he's ready."
"You're right about that." She chuckled, "Megumi-chan has potential, but he is not ready."
I gently rubbed her lips with my thumb, "You're looking rather pretty today." I said with a slight smile, "My pretty little Satoru."
She blushed, "Don't be cruel." She said softly, "You'll break my heart if you don't follow through with this teasing."
"I wouldn't do such a thing." I said, "Teleport us away and I'll prove it."
She gulped, "Fine...." she said, "But we have to make it quick."
"I have a class to teach."
