Chapter 6 - [Vol.6] THE ULTIMATE REVENGE: THE FALL OF THE IVORY TOWER

1. Infiltration of "The Sanctuary"

Darmawan felt safe in his heavily guarded private mansion, which he called "The Sanctuary." However, he forgot that he was the one who trained Sekar to become a shadow, and he gravely underestimated Arkan's fury.

That night, the mansion's security system went dead in a matter of seconds. Raka, from a remote location, froze the entire sensor network. Sekar and Arkan did not enter through the front door; instead, they pierced through the darkness—two predators sharing a single purpose.

2. Confrontation in the Study

Darmawan was pouring a glass of whiskey when he realized they were there. He didn't panic; he only offered a thin smile at Sekar, who stood in the doorway in black tactical gear, and Arkan, who stood behind her with his weapon aimed directly at the General's chest.

"You arrived sooner than I expected, Sekar," Darmawan said calmly. "And you brought 'Target Alpha' with you. Is this betrayal?"

Sekar stepped forward, her eyes flashing with cold fire. "This isn't betrayal, General. This is an audit. I've come to collect Elias's blood debt."

3. The Shattering Truth

Darmawan gave a low laugh. "Elias? He was nothing more than a small pebble on the road to national stability. You should be thanking me. Without his death, you would never have become the elite agent you are today."

Sekar pulled out a small device and pressed it. On the large monitor in the room, the recording of the instructions to kill Elias—the one Sekar had found—began to play. But that wasn't all. Sekar had linked the transmission to BIN's entire internal network and national media outlets for a live broadcast.

"The world is watching you now, Darmawan," Sekar whispered. "Every detail of your corruption, every life you took, and your betrayal of my father... it's all out in the open."

4. The Mentor's

Darmawan's previously calm face turned deathly pale. He watched his power crumble in seconds. He lunged for a hidden pistol beneath his desk, but a bullet from Arkan's weapon grazed his fingers, sending the gun flying.

Arkan stepped forward, his voice low and menacing. "A man like you doesn't deserve a quick death. You will live to see your name erased from history, and you will rot in the darkest cell imaginable."

5. A Bitter Ending

Sekar approached Darmawan, standing so close that the tip of her blade touched the General's neck. "You told me at Shadow Valley that feelings were my weakness. You were wrong. My feelings for Elias were my strength, and my feelings for Arkan are my liberation."

Sekar did not kill him. She left Darmawan to live in disgrace—a punishment far heavier for a man obsessed with honor. As the sirens of honest military forces grew louder, approaching to arrest Darmawan, Sekar and Arkan stepped out into the darkness of the night.
