There she was, my mom. Without even a bit of remorse in her eyes. Looking as if she were executioner and i were a common criminal scum.
After giving me a hefty earful, i was allowed to speak. Her words sounding very heavier by the minute. I was told to never to stay out after dusk no matter what!
Only after that would she would hear my reasoning.
So why did it take you so long to return and who gave you those items? I didn't tell you yo bring them.
"These were given to me by Peka the butcher-uncle and Navajo the old granny"- saying it while shaking with fear. Thise words barely coming out of my mouth.

I slowly shooked my head.
"U barely 5 years old. U don't know how dangerous the world is." Said mom while putting away the groceries.

Potatos are in the sack in the basement. Go get them.
Mom quickly started the fire while i was bringing the potatos.
Mom put some water in the pot on the fire. Then she started Choping the vegetables and the meat that butcher uncle gave us.
She put the chopped onions and garlic in the pot on medium heat. Some moments later she added spices like thyme, parsley,paprika and some other spices.
Latok get the jar of tomato paste.
I went to get the jar. It was kept with the other items kept in preserved items using cool sand.
Mom always says to water the sand in which the all other jars and pot are buried in to preserve them. I have to water them twice a day. There it was under the wet sand.
While i returned mom was still cooking the stew. She seemed to add more ingredients to stew. The meat that the butcher uncle gave us also was there
After cooking the stew. Mom bringed some bread she had bought from the beaker.
Mom gave me some stew on a bowl. I quickly sat down on the dinner table!
WOW! Delicious stew and bread!! I just want to gulp it down! I quickly started to eat but...
Egggghhhhh! It tasted disgusting!
Mom what did put in the stew?!
Just some herbs they are good for you. They also don't taste that bad. So eat up and take seconds!
I didn't even try to taste it just gulped it down. It was horrible. It tasted to bitter. I could just throw up.
Ok. Now we are done eating. Help me clean up and off to bed.
I quickly feel asleep with a full stomach.
The next morning i awoke from that bloody! Roster's sounds. It was awful. I hate that roster. It makes such horrible sounds and wakes me everyday.
My mom had already made our food by the i woke up.
Alright go wash ur face. We have lots to do today in the farm.
