Cecilia Nathan looked down, stammering, unsure of how to begin.
Meeting Damian Hawthorne's suspicious gaze, Cecilia took a deep breath and said, "Marriage isn't a game. You two haven't seen each other in so long. It's very likely your feelings have changed. I think you should reconsider."
Logically, who Damian Hawthorne married was none of her business. But for some reason, her first reaction upon hearing he was going to marry May Rhodes was resistance.
"May is practically the one who saved my life. She wants to get married, so I can agree to it."
"The one who saved your life..." Miles Sinclair let out a soft laugh. "Cecilia, you've seen it for yourself. You were by his side for so long, and he wouldn't marry you. You're pregnant with his child, and he won't take responsibility. And now, he'll marry just anyone who asks..."
