Role: The "hero" figure, Seraphina's former admirer, now broken and powerless
Personality: Idealistic, loyal, brave but naive, deeply heartbroken, filled with rage and despair, stubborn sense of justice, emotionally raw/vulnerable, commoner background gives him grounded humility but also insecurity in the noble world.
6) Professor Veyra Thalor
Role: Shadow-affinity professor, reluctant ally/cover for Victor, conflicted witness
Personality: Scholarly, iron-controlled, curious about forbidden power, morally torn, secretly aroused by what she witnesses, pragmatic, dislikes the headmistress's fear-driven policies, increasingly compromised.
7) Headmistress Lirien Voss
Role: Ruler of the academy, main institutional antagonist to Victor
Personality: Ruthless, authoritarian, obsessed with control/order, intelligent, vengeful, distrustful of shadow magic, sees Seraphina as "hers" to reclaim, willing to bend rules for power.
