Chapter 71 - Chapter 71 The group followed Hagrid to the small grove behind the Hut.

"It's resting in the woods behind now."

The group followed Hagrid to the small grove behind the Hut.

Not far away, a beautiful Unicorn lay on the soft grass.

Its fur was still pristine white, glistening in the sun, but its hind leg was wrapped in large bandages.

Hearing footsteps, Nolan raised its head.

When it saw Charlie, its eyes instantly lit up.

Nolan struggled to its feet and limped to Charlie.

Then, this proud magical creature slowly knelt down and lowered its noble head.

Although it was struck down by Quirrell yesterday, it was still conscious.

It clearly saw that it was Charlie who saved it, pulling it back from the brink of death.

"Merlin's beard!" Hagrid's eyes widened.

"I've never seen a Unicorn bow to a human."

Harry, Ron, and Hermione were also stunned.

Unicorns are one of the proudest magical creatures.

But now, Nolan was kneeling before Charlie.

Charlie glanced at the Unicorn kneeling before him.

Act, why aren't you acting anymore? Weren't you quite arrogant before? Now you're still kneeling before me. Are you at my beck and call?

Charlie: You f***ing f***

Seeing that Charlie ignored it, Nolan rubbed its cheek against Charlie's leg in a fawning manner.

The furry touch was quite comfortable.

Charlie patted its head.

"Go get some good rest, don't let anyone ambush you again."

A look of shame flashed in Nolan's eyes, and it slowly stood up, limping back to the grass.

Time flew by.

Without Quirrell, all Defense Against the Dark Arts Class were taught by Snape.

To be honest, it was worse than Quirrell.

At least Quirrell didn't suddenly call Charlie up to demonstrate Spell during class, and after the demonstration, he wouldn't add points, but instead found various reasons to deduct points.

"Mr. White, your wand-waving posture is too casual."

"Hufflepuff loses one point."

Charlie's wand-waving was indeed casual, but that was because his proficiency with these Spell was extremely high, so he didn't have to follow the rules.

Any other Professor would definitely add points instead of deducting them.

Charlie wasn't annoyed; he sat down obediently, but when Snape wasn't paying attention, he conjured a bow tie that floated behind Snape's head.

The whole class burst into laughter.

Snape turned his head sharply, saw the bow tie, and his face turned ashen with anger.

"Hufflepuff loses ten more points!"

Neville had changed completely since that punch he threw last time.

His former timidity was gone, and there was a newfound confidence in his speech and actions, though not strong, it was much better than before.

Coupled with the notebook Charlie gave him for Christmas, his grades had improved significantly recently.

Even Professor McGonagall praised his rapid progress.

Now, Gryffindor's twin stars were left with only Seamus.

Charlie's healing potion was finally brewed.

The pale golden liquid was in a crystal bottle, emitting a faint scent of mint.

Time came to Easter.

The Easter holiday was approaching the end of the term, and homework piled up like mountains.

Ernie and Hermione's pens were almost smoking; not only did they have to do double the homework, but they also had to find time to review.

Charlie, however, sat leisurely in the common room, legs crossed, reading "The Quibbler."

The articles written in it were quite bizarre, making it perfect for passing the time.

This afternoon, Neville found Charlie.

"Charlie, my grandma wants to see you," Neville said, nervously rubbing his hands.

"See me?"

Charlie put down his magazine.

"Yes, she wants to thank you in person," Neville explained.

"Because of your help and that notebook, my grades have improved a lot."

"Grandma said you've helped me so much, she must thank you personally."

Charlie thought about it; since he had nothing planned for the holiday anyway, meeting Neville's grandma wouldn't be bad.

"Alright, when?"

"Tomorrow, would that work for you?" Neville's eyes were full of anticipation.

"No problem," Charlie agreed readily.
