"You're getting back with him?! Have you lost your mind?!" Those were the first questions Ethan threw at Damian the very second the boy told him he and Zayn Hale were back together. He had thought Damian was joking, but after taking a good look at the boy before him, Ethan had come to realize that Damian wasn't joking at all.
He hadn't come here expecting to hear this from Damian, and he felt disappointed too. Wasn't he angry that Zayn went for another person the moment it seemed that things weren't going well? Couldn't he see that this might not end well? Was Damian really that naive? Ethan questioned himself. He didn't know what words to say to his friend at the moment, but he wasn't going to sit still and let him make another mistake.
Damian flinched but didn't look away. "I know how it sounds, but I feel like he's being for real this time. He broke things off with Selene, he apologized, said he wants only me."
