Sansa's POV
My heart thudded loudly as my eyes settled on Koa.
Okay, Koa finding me or running into him wasn't in my to-do list, especially when I was very weak in this body. My limbs felt heavy, my muscles burned from exhaustion and whip, and yet here he was, appearing out of nowhere.
But he was a prince so I should expect more of his presence. That knowledge made everything infinitely more complicated. I had hoped he'd crawl back from where he had come from but surprisingly he was still here.
I wondered if he had told Lucien I was his mate. He definitely wouldn't. No prince would choose an omega as a Luna. Not in any decent world. Not in this one, anyway. This wasn't some fairytale fantasy novel where the omega could expect some grand, romantic declaration. But still, the thought haunted me, lingering in the pit of my stomach like a slow-gnawing worm.
