Chapter 3 - Before a goddess (2)

"Welcome to my abode mortal."

A brief silence occurred as Len quickly pieced things together in his head while she studied him.

His expression turned ugly as he took a step forward.

"You! You damn whore of a bitch! It was you, right?"

"You... you snatched my freedom away from me!" He roared charging forward.

The lady's eyes widened, surprised at his sudden outburst.

"Huh? This is a first." She mumbled to herself, not paying attention to the charging Len.

Just when Len was a few steps away from her, she finally stared at him, expression narrowing for a second before dissolving into that same calm smile.

A loud snap reverberated over the still space.

Len felt the world swirl for a second before getting his bearings back. He stared at the area in confusion. There was a wide gap between him and the strange lady.

No!

He had been sent back to his previous position! Just with a snap of her fingers?

'How.... How was that possible? What the hell was she? Where the hell was this place?'

Not paying attention to his conflicted mind, she took a step forward, yet appeared metres away, standing before a grand fountain.

"C'mon, let me show you the scene of that fateful day." With a snap of her hand, Len appeared beside her.

Just a few steps away from her, Len couldn't help but struggle to control his senses. Just being this close to her, her scent was drowning him in a state of... pleasure.

Something he had never experienced before.

With a soft twirl of her hand, a bubble of water broke apart from the fountain floating before Len and drawing his attention.

Looking into it, he saw the end. Those who managed to pass through the door, how they were consumed by strange horrifying creatures. The attack had not only occurred within the colosseum. Same thing happened all around the world. Just like that, his world was destroyed.

The last thing he saw was the large red sword piercing through the chest of one of the many dead bodies lying on the ground.

"This... no... no... this can't be true!"

"You fucking lying. You made this up.. with whatever powers you possess!"

"Say whatever you want. The truth is hard for mortals to accept after all."

Len stood, lost in thoughts.

"If I'm dead as I saw, then why am I here... still alive?"

"Ohh. I won't really say alive. Just a stubborn fragment of your soul that refused to fade away in the void."

"That caught my attention and also brought us here. You see... The sword was a package I was expecting. It seemed they input the wrong destination again." She said with a pause.

"They've got a ton of complaints waiting for them. Damn idiots," she muttered under her breath.

Red stared at the lady mumbling faint incoherent curses.

"Ahhh. Where was I?" She said, catching Red strained expression.

"Right... Your story is quite the sad one, but I guess a second chance will do you a lot of good.

You never add the chance to live life to the fullest. You never had the opportunity to indulge in the pleasure of your mortal world.

You never felt the suppleness of a woman's breasts. Not even from birth.

So starting from now, you'll get to taste it all... from the beginning and much better than any being could offer."

In one fluid motion, she released the knot of the cord holding her robe, causing it to slowly slide off her body.

What he saw next nearly shattered his existence.

Supple milky body crafted in perfection. Every curve and part were perfectly aligned.

She looked forward, staring at Len's shocked expression.

"Come on. What are you waiting for?" She muttered, staring at him.

Len felt all sense leave his body as he finally moved. Taking a step forward, he paused in his tracks as if trying to fight for control back.

Yet, he was instantly defeated. Another step brought him closer to the divine beauty before him. Just three more steps, and he would be able to hold onto those firm supple boobs and be at peace.

What the hell was he saying?

Meanwhile, the lady stood, arms wide, waiting to embrace him like a mother who finally found her lost child.

Another step, and he could feel her warmth. Yet, his body screamed madly. His survival instincts flared, warning him that touching her would lead to something terrible.

Yet his body moved again as if possessed.

Unable to bear the turmoil anymore, he let out a fierce roar of agony, forcing his hand to grip his head, though they smoothly phased through.

"I've... I've survived without a mother's love for long... what. made. you... what made you think I would need it... NOW!"

He struggled to speak, yelling the last part out and finally coming to a stop, his breathing ragged.

"Huhu."

"You are indeed a special one." The lady voice echoed in his head. "Not many will be able to accomplish what you just did."

"No... no human I've ever come across came close at all." She still had that same smile as she spoke.

"Lucky you... if you had touched me, you could have been erased permanently." She muttered casually and flick her fingers as if what she just said wasn't mind-blowing enough.

Her robe slowly rose, covering her ethereal beauty while Red fully snapped back to his senses.

"Like I said, I'm going to grant you a second chance. A new opportunity to witness life... but not in this world, sadly.

A new world, a new beginning, filled with magic and everything you ever dreamed of. All will be granted to you in my power.

And for your astounding accomplishment, you deserve a fitting reward, which I'll see to."

"So... magic do exist? And the existence of divine beings... are real?" Red finally muttered with a lifeless voice.

"If they really exist, why? Why allow all these suffering to go on? Why sit in their high thrones and do nothing? Or was humanity just a toy created for their entertainment?"

He hated it. He hated them so much.

A dry chuckle escaped his lips. What was a mere significant ant like him able to do? He had seen how she had effortlessly controlled him. How his supposed borrowed time was in her hands to end.

Resigning to his fate, he finally stared at the goddess before him.

"So... what's your take in it all? I'm sure this help of yours isn't going to come free."

A bright smile bloomed across the goddess face, a true one, Len discovered.

"Hahaha. You surprise me more and more, human. Indeed, what I want is quite simple. But right now, you're not strong enough to keep yourself alive, let alone for the task I have in store for you." She eyed him with an amused expression.

"Simply put, you're still an insignificant rat."

Red's eyes narrowed dangerously, yet he didn't make any move. She was right after all.

He was fucking weak.

"If you want to be of much help to me..."

"You'll need to become a Divine... just like me…"
