Seeing Chen Chen, Aunt May hurried over, "Chen, these two are also here to see you!"
Chen Chen carefully sized up the two people. There was a man and a woman.
The man wore a strange pair of red quartz glasses, with switches and knobs on them.
The woman had golden hair that danced without wind. Her figure was curvy, she wore a tight leather suit and a silver cape, and her temperament was graceful and moving.
"Who are you two?"
Chen Chen asked in confusion.

Afterward, the three of them returned to the coffee shop where Chen Chen had previously met with Coulson from S.H.I.E.L.D., and found a private room.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Mutants and superpowered individuals are different.
Mutants are born with the X-Gene, and their abilities stem from it; it's just a matter of when they awaken.
The reasons for the emergence of superpowered individuals are varied. Some are the result of technological modification, while others develop abilities through accidents and mutations. Examples include Spider-Man, the Hulk, and the Fantastic Four; these individuals are considered superpowered.
A characteristic of mutants is having innate abilities without undergoing genetic testing.
Chen Chen's abilities also stem from his Demonic Body, making them innate, so being mistaken for a mutant is understandable.
Chen Chen didn't bother explaining his situation, and simply said, "I've heard of you, but regardless, you just need to know that I don't have the X-Gene. I'm not a Mutant."
Many Mutants' displays of power cause panic in those around them, which can make these Mutants feel inferior and sensitive.
Ororo assumed Chen Chen was rejecting the identity of a Mutant.
