Chapter 1 - episode 1

Tokyo had grown quiet.

Months had passed since the mysterious terrorists known as Sphinx shook the city with riddles and bombs. News channels had moved on. Police reports were archived. The public tried to forget.

But some echoes refused to disappear.

Lisa Mishima stood on the rooftop of her small apartment building, staring at the Tokyo skyline. The wind carried the distant noise of traffic and trains. Life had returned to normal for everyone else.

For her, normal didn't exist anymore.

She still remembered their voices.

Nine's calm logic.

Twelve's reckless laughter.

They had vanished like smoke after the final explosion at the airport, leaving behind only questions.

Lisa closed her eyes.

"Was that really the end?" she whispered.

---

Across the city, inside a dimly lit intelligence office, Detective Shibazaki flipped through an old classified file. The cover read:

ATHENA PROJECT

Most pages were blacked out. Many had been destroyed.

But something new had appeared.

A single photograph had been slipped into the file sometime during the night.

Two boys stood near a snowy fence.

One had silver hair.

The other smiled brightly.

Behind them stood a third child.

A girl.

Shibazaki adjusted his glasses.

"That's impossible…" he murmured.

The Athena facility records said only two survivors escaped.

Nine and Twelve.

Yet the photo clearly showed three.

---

At the same moment, deep underground in an abandoned subway tunnel, a small screen flickered to life.

Lines of code scrolled rapidly.

Then a symbol appeared.

A sphinx.

A distorted voice message began to play.

"Riddle one."

A pause.

"What survives when the truth is buried, the witnesses are gone, and the world chooses to forget?"

The message ended.

Footsteps echoed in the tunnel as a figure stepped forward into the faint light.

A teenage girl with pale hair looked up at the screen.

Her expression was calm.

Cold.

"Answer," she whispered.

"Memory."

She turned away and walked deeper into the darkness.

Tokyo had believed the game ended.

But the riddles were only beginning again.

And somewhere in the city, the legacy of Sphinx was waking up.
