"Hades, quickly, tell me, what exactly happened?"
Seeing Li Chuan sit up from the sickbed in the medical room, Baron Strucker immediately pushed open the door and strode in with two of his subordinates.
Li Chuan's gaze swept over them, and based on Hades's description of their appearances, he quickly made a judgment in his mind.
The one leading, wearing a black leather jacket and a single eyeglass, was definitely Baron Strucker, the overall person in charge of this Base. The old man next to him holding the taser should be Dr. Lister, the second-in-command.
As for the exceptionally strong man to the left behind Baron Strucker, he was the HYDRA Agent Captain responsible for special operations, and he probably led the team that kidnapped Dr. Smith.
The tall, thin middle-aged man to the right was the Commander of the entire Base's defense system.
"Excellent, the Base's high-ranking officials are all here!"

"What about Dr. Smith, the one My Lord Garrett wants?"
Dr. Lister asked.
Although he was the Base's second-in-command, Dr. Lister did not get involved in HYDRA's internal espionage and Agent activities. He only obeyed Baron Strucker and focused on research and experiments concerning super-powered individuals.
So, when he saw Baron Strucker shoot the Commander in the head, while he was dumbfounded, he didn't think as much as the HYDRA Captain did.
"Bring him along."

His main purpose for coming was to rescue Dr. Smith.

Dr. Lister nodded.
Five minutes later, Li Chuan, along with a confused Dr. Smith and Dr. Lister, who was carrying a briefcase, boarded Baron Strucker's private helicopter on the top floor and slowly flew away from the Base.
"Boom!"
Moments later, a deafening roar sounded from below and behind the helicopter. Under the effect of the self-destruct device, the entire Base, along with everyone inside, ascended into the sky.
"My Lord, the Base exploded—"
Dr. Lister looked at the blazing Base, a hint of reluctance on his face. Having stayed there for over a decade, it was inevitable to have some emotional attachment.
