"Even the defense of Mirror Force was broken..." one student could not help saying. "That's amazing. He Summoned a monster like that on the very first turn and cleared the field instantly..."
"So this is the Deck of the Duel King? It's so strong."
"Hahahaha, I told you already. Now that I have this Deck, I am invincible!" Kagurazaka shouted. "No matter how many traps there are, no matter how many tricks there are, it's useless!
"Even the unspeakable legend of Yellow Dormitory is no exception!"

"Then I'll give you a small hint." Yugen slowly raised his arm. "The true trump card power of Duel King Yugi Muto."
Kagurazaka felt his heart tighten. Yugi Muto's true trump card? Could it be Dark Magician...?
"Effect Activation of 'Clear Kuriboh' in the Graveyard." Yugen said. "When the opponent's Monster declares a direct attack, banish this card from the Graveyard and draw one card from your Deck.
"If the card drawn is a Monster, Special Summon that Monster, and the attack target is changed to that Monster."
Kagurazaka: "!"
In the Graveyard... Kuriboh!?
Clear Kuriboh was a card Yugi Muto had used several years ago in his last public tournament duel against Seto Kaiba. Of course, by then Atem was already gone, so the one dueling Seto Kaiba had been Yugi Muto.
And the exhibit Deck that Kagurazaka had gotten his hands on was the Deck left behind by Atem (Yami Yugi) back then. Even that exhibit Deck did not contain this Kuriboh.

"Therefore, 'D.D. Warrior Lady' and 'Arcana Knight Joker' are both banished."
The warrior rushed forward with a suicidal Dimensional Slash, her sword slicing open space itself. Both warriors were dragged into a black vortex and disappeared beyond the far edge of the Dimension.
Kagurazaka's eyes turned red. "Arcana Knight Joker..."
He had finally pulled off such a flashy combo and gone through so much trouble to summon that legendary monster. Couldn't he at least attack once before it vanished?
The students around them erupted in an uproar. Seen this way, even a legendary monster could still be cut down by a single swing from a removal card.

The little frog with a halo jumped onto Yugen's Front Row. It landed lightly, but the sight made several students tense up again.

"Spell Card 'Pot of Greed'. I draw two more cards from my Deck." Yugen drew, then revealed another card from his hand. "Then the Quick-Play Spell 'Flute of Summoning Kuriboh'."
"I Special Summon 'Kuriboh' from the Deck to the field!"

"Kuriboh again?"
Kagurazaka had just been ambushed by a Kuriboh from the Graveyard moments ago, so seeing another one pop out made his heart jolt. A very bad feeling rose in him at once, and he suddenly wondered if he was really going to die to this thing in the Student Council today.
"Quick-Play Spell 'Multiply'. I tribute the 'Kuriboh' on the field and Special Summon as many 'Kuriboh Tokens' as possible."
Under the Spell's effect, Kuriboh quickly Multiply and split into four tokens. Four tiny bodies appeared all at once, neatly filling the field.
