Dante kissed her like a man who had been holding back for far too long and finally allowing himself to indulge. The restraint he always carried fractured in that instant, and Lilian felt it in the way his mouth claimed hers.
His hands were everywhere, tangling in her hair, sliding down her back, mapping the curve of her hips, and dragging her body flush against his until there was no space left between them. Lilian kissed him back with equal hunger, her fingers fisting in his shirt, desperate to feel his skin beneath it.
"Too many clothes," she gasped when they broke apart for air.
"Yeah," Dante said, his voice rough with desire. His hands went to the hem of her night shirt, pausing just before lifting it. "Last change to tell me to stop."
The fact that he asked, even now, sent a strange warmth through her chest.
"If you stop now, I'm going to be very upset," Lilian said, breathing hard.
