"Suguha, come here."
Kirigaya Midori's expression shifted slightly. As someone meticulous by nature, she looked at the dissatisfied Kirigaya Suguha and called out softly.
"Okay, okay."
Suguha pouted, but she didn't go against her mother. She walked over in a few quick steps and was then pulled upstairs with her.
"Suguha doesn't know your identity yet, Sephie. Don't take it to heart."
Nanamiya Yasuko seemed to accept the alien identities of Sephie and her family with surprising ease.
No one knew what exactly had been discussed in the bathroom.
"Of course. To be honest, I haven't encountered a commoner who dared speak to me like that in the galaxy for who knows how long."
Looking toward where the Kirigaya mother and daughter had disappeared, Sephie smiled openly, her face showing no anger.
"Ah-except for the times my veil accidentally slipped."
"Being too beautiful can be a sin sometimes."
Gazing at Sephie's beauty, which transcended the mundane, Nanamiya Yasuko couldn't help but sigh.
"That's exactly what I mean."
Sephie nodded in agreement. Then her eyes carried a trace of resentment as she glanced at the young man beside her.
"As the only man besides my husband who can look directly at my face, do you really have no intention of becoming Lala's fiancé? It's rare that Lala herself doesn't resist this at all."
"Yes, yes, yes! If it's Hiro-kun, I'm willing!"
The moment the topic shifted to her, Lala-nestled against her mother-raised her right hand enthusiastically.
Lala-nee, aren't you being way too unreserved?
Momo, sitting to the side, couldn't bear to watch and turned her gaze away.
"I'll say it again. I won't accept something like this without any emotional foundation."
Under the combined gazes of four pairs of eyes in front of him and one pair beside him-five in total-Hiro spoke calmly.
"Actually, before Aunt Sephie and all of you came, there were already several opposite-sex individuals who could develop into marriage partners with me at any time. In terms of appearance alone, none of them would lose to your three daughters."
He paused, then looked straight into Sephie's cherry-colored eyes and thought for a moment.
"Although this may sound a bit rude, in my personal opinion-even Aunt Sephie herself, once the abnormal charm of 'Charm Person' is removed, hasn't reached the point where I'd fall in love at first sight."
"Of course, I'm not trying to belittle you. I'm just stating my view. If I've made you unhappy, Aunt Sephie, I apologize."
After saying that, Hiro gave a slight bow in her direction.
This was the first time in her memory that someone had told her she lacked charm.
The feeling was... a bit strange.
Sephie smiled faintly and met Hiro's brown eyes.
"I understand your reason for refusing. And I can accept it. After all, this concerns your entire life. Being cautious is perfectly normal."
Hearing her mother speak this way, Momo-who had remained silent-hesitated before asking,
"Then, Mother... what about Father?"
"I'll explain it to Gid."
Sephie chuckled softly at her third daughter's concern, then turned to her eldest.
"Lala, how about cultivating feelings with Hiro before any engagement?"
"No problem! Lala's confident!"
"May I ask something?"
Hiro looked at the pink-haired girl who was showing off her raised arm as if flexing.
"You've never met me before. Why did you accept this engagement so readily?"
Lala didn't seem to intend to hide anything.
"This is our first meeting, but we've seen you lots of times already. When we were on Deviluke, we had Earthlings in space send us all the camera footage of you. And also, litt-"
"Lala-nee!"
Momo interrupted her sharply.
"Ah! I forgot that's something we can't talk about. Ehehe."
Seeing Momo's eyes, Lala instantly realized her mistake. She stuck out her tongue and tried to brush it off.
Everyday-life cameras, huh.
You really thought of everything.
And besides Lala-who else was watching?
Even if Nana and Momo had noticed various cameras, monitors, and surveillance equipment around him in daily life, who could've imagined someone would compile and distribute that footage?
And that the audience would be the family of the galaxy's overlord.
Even with one of his Authorities influencing things, Hiro had some awareness of his own appeal.
But this was beyond what he'd imagined.
He glanced curiously at Nana and Momo.
All he got in return were two gazes deliberately avoiding his.
Alright. I get the picture.
So what was that "litt-" she didn't finish saying?
He was curious, but judging by their reactions, they had no intention of explaining.
Asking Sephie might work, but he wasn't curious enough to press it.
"For now, our family of four will be staying next door."
Sephie stood up, followed by her three daughters.
"If you have time, Yasuko and Hiro are welcome to visit."
Nanamiya Yasuko was about to get up and see them off, but Hiro reached out and stopped her. He gestured toward where the Kirigaya mother and daughter had gone.
"Mom, I'll see Aunt Sephie and the others off. You go check on Suguha first. Don't let Auntie scold her too harshly."
"Then I'll leave it to you."
Nanamiya Yasuko took it as a sign of Hiro's "infatuation" and nodded without suspicion.
"So? Is Hiro changing his mind? Have you taken a liking to my daughter?"
"Daughter?"
Hiro glanced at the three sisters standing beside Sephie.
"Which one are you talking about?"
Her gaze swept across her daughters, and Sephie felt a subtle jolt in her heart.
Could it be that Hiro refused not because of Lala alone-but because he had taken a liking to all three?
Naturally, Hiro had no way of knowing what was going on in the mind of the galaxy's brainwashing queen.
"Didn't Lala want to study my pet?"
Hiro spoke casually.
"Let's find a suitable place. I'll summon it."
Of course, given Lala's tendency to cause accidents, he wasn't about to hand it over without precautions.
At the very least, he needed to keep a piece of heavy light-class flesh ready for Sadalmelik-Albus as insurance.
Originally, he'd considered issuing a White Night Spirit Tier ID card and letting the Star Beast come out for some activity.
But after carefully reviewing the Spirit Tier system, he realized the timing was still too early.
He wasn't confident he could control it yet.
