Chapter 4 - Break Her Legs

"Linghuda, stop wasting time. Kill him for me."

Ayane Myers frowned, irritation and killing intent mixing in her eyes. Her voice carried no hesitation—only command.

"My lady, forgive my presumption.""Then die already."

Those words became the signal.

Linghuda vanished.

In less than a heartbeat, his figure reappeared directly in front of Aaron Myers. His hand twisted into an eagle claw, internal force surging violently as he aimed straight for Aaron's throat. One strike—clean, lethal, final.

Or so he believed.

The next instant—

"AAAAAAHHHH—!!!"

A scream tore through the air, sharp enough to make one's scalp tingle. It sounded less like a human cry and more like an animal being slaughtered alive.

Linghuda smashed into the ground, his body writhing uncontrollably. His face twisted into pure horror as pain overwhelmed every sense. Blood erupted from his shoulder like a broken dam.

His arm was gone.

A severed human arm—still twitching slightly, blood dripping steadily—was being idly spun between the fingers of the Blood Blade Monk.

"You dared to raise your claws against the young master," he said flatly, eyes devoid of emotion."Claws like that have no reason to exist."

With a casual flick of his wrist, he threw the bloody limb out the window.

Outside, a large yellow dog froze for a moment—then its eyes lit up with instinctive excitement. It rushed forward, dragged the arm into a dark corner, and began gnawing on it enthusiastically. The sound of bones cracking echoed faintly, nauseating and cruel.

In an instant, Linghuda—a Dark Force realm expert—was crippled.

Ayane Myers stood frozen.

She hadn't seen the strike. She hadn't even seen the motion.

Linghuda himself didn't know when his arm disappeared. All he knew was that the pain felt like his soul was being torn apart.

Moments ago, Ayane had sworn to kill that "worthless brother."

Now, the strongest card in her hand was rolling on the floor like trash.

Her mind went blank.

Too fast.Too sudden.Too unreal.

Fear finally broke through her arrogance.

Run.

That was the only thought left in her head.

But before she could move—

Aaron Myers casually tossed the teacup in his hand.

Crack!

The porcelain cup slammed into Ayane's right leg with merciless accuracy.

Pain exploded instantly, sharp and crushing, as if her bones had been smashed with a hammer. Her leg buckled, and she collapsed to the floor with a dull thud. Scalding tea spilled over her legs, steam rising as her skin reddened and blistered.

"AAAAH—DAMN YOU, AARON MYERS!""You poured hot water on me?!"

She screamed hysterically, pain and humiliation twisting her face.

"Just wait! When Big Brother Chu Fan finds out, he'll chop you into pieces!"

Aaron looked at her quietly.

So noisy.

So stupid.

To him, her shrill voice was no different from a rabid dog barking in the street.

He waved his hand lightly.

"A dog's mouth will never spit out ivory," he said coldly."Open her mouth."

Smack!Smack!Smack!

The Blood Blade Monk did not hold back.

Each slap landed hard, echoing through the room. Ayane's cheeks swelled grotesquely, blood splattering from her lips. Two of her front teeth flew out and bounced across the floor.

The effect was immediate.

Silence.

Ayane didn't dare make another sound.

She stared at Aaron with bloodshot eyes filled with venomous hatred. Her body trembled—not only from pain, but from fear she refused to acknowledge.

Aaron felt nothing.

Pity? Mercy? Those were luxuries reserved for people worth saving.

Killing her now would be too easy, he thought calmly.Too clean. Too merciful.

For a woman enslaved by love, who betrayed blood for desire—death was an escape.

He wanted something else.

He wanted her faith shattered. Her love crushed. Her entire worldview ground into dust.

He wanted Ayane Myers and Chu Fan to cling to each other in obsession… until that love turned into knives aimed at each other's throats.

"Ayane Myers," Aaron said softly, his tone eerily calm,"for that disgusting excuse you call love, you murdered your own parents."

"Tell me," he continued, eyes narrowing slightly,"what exactly is inside your skull that allows you to commit acts worse than beasts—acts that even heaven and earth would reject?"

Ayane laughed.

A twisted, hysterical laugh.

"For Big Brother Chu Fan, I can do anything," she spat."Anyone who stands in our way deserves to die."

Aaron sneered.

Hopeless.

Utterly rotten.

"Aaron Myers!" Ayane screamed again, desperation leaking through her arrogance."Let me go right now!""If Big Brother Chu Fan finds out, he'll kill you!"

"I can let you go," Aaron replied calmly."But only if you meet one condition."

"You will voluntarily give up all inheritance rights to the Myers family."

He knelt and lightly patted her face, as one would soothe an unruly animal.

Their parents had died suddenly—slaughtered by their own daughter—leaving no will behind.

Legally, Ayane still had a claim.

But Aaron would not allow it.

Not a single coin. Not a single breath of air.

Killing her would raise suspicion, he calculated coldly. But breaking her… and stripping her clean? That leaves no trace.

"Impossible!" Ayane shouted."I'm a Myers!""Even if I don't get everything, at least half is mine!"

Hundreds of billions. That was what she wanted to offer Chu Fan.

"You don't agree?" Aaron smiled faintly."Who told you this was a negotiation?"

He straightened.

"Didn't you love kneeling for Chu Fan?""Then kneel forever."

"Break her leg."

The command fell.

The Blood Blade Monk stomped down without hesitation.

CRACK—!!

Internal force erupted violently. Ayane's thighbone shattered into fragments.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH—!!!"

Her scream was no longer human.

Her body convulsed uncontrollably as agony obliterated her consciousness. Tears, blood, and mucus smeared her face in a humiliating mess.

DING!"Host has ordered the breaking of heroine Ayane Myers's leg.""Action aligns with villain character.""Host has obtained 3,000 villain points."

The system's voice echoed clearly in Aaron's mind.

He paused.

Just one leg… three thousand points?

Interesting.

So she's not completely useless, he mused. At least she's worth something broken.

"System," Aaron asked inwardly, a faint smile curling his lips,"if I cut off all her limbs, would I get four times the points?"

"Host, stop indulging in delusions.""The system strictly forbids exploiting loopholes.""Only one reward will be granted for bodily harm.""Further physical damage will yield no additional points."

Aaron chuckled softly.

So the body only counts once…But the mind?

He glanced down at Ayane, who was trembling and sobbing on the floor.

Breaking a person mentally takes time. And time… is exactly what I have.

In Chu Fan's so-called destiny, Ayane Myers was merely one heroine among many.

It was as if heaven itself was deliberately feeding him villain points.

One broken soul at a time.
