That day,
the rain felt as if it had washed the entire city clean.But inside Anie nothing was clean at all.
When Anie opened her eyes,clouds were piled up beyond the window.
The sky was a heavy shade of gray.
Thoughts from the previous night were still gripping her mind.Hunters,The city
Something out there searching for her
She got out of bed and washed her face.When she looked at herself in the mirror Nothing seemed different.And yet,everything inside her had changed.
Astra City College.,,
The campus was soaked with rain.Water dripped from leaves and splashed onto the ground.But the calm was false.At one corner of the campus
two police jeeps.Investigation officers
taking notes.Students stood in small groups.
"What happened here?"
someone asked.
"The city itself seems to be in trouble,"
another replied.
Anie walked silently between them.
She could hear everything.But she couldn't say anything.
Near the library,Mira spotted Anie.
"Did you see?"she asked.
"The police?" Anie nodded.
"This isn't normal,"
Mira said.
"Two days ago, someone disappeared in the metro."
Anie stayed quiet...
"They say…it's Hunters."
Anie looked at her.
"Do you believe that?"
she asked.
Mira hesitated for a moment.
"I don't know," she said.
"But it feels like the city itself is afraid."
Anie held Mira's hand tightly.She wanted to say something Anything.But the words never came.
The lecture began.
The professor's voice filled the room.
But Anie wasn't listening.Her eyes drifted to the window.Rain,Buildings,The city.
"Is all of this watching me?"
A slight pressure built in her chest.
Her breathing grew shallow.She closed her eyes.
"Not here," she told herself.
"Not now."
When classes ended,
the rain grew heavier.Anie walked toward the bus stop There investigation officers.One of them questioned a woman.
"Did you see anything unusual
last night?"
As Anie passed by one officer looked at her.Directly,,,Her heart stopped for a second.He said nothing But inside her,
a voice whispered,
"They're close."
Anie didn't go home right away.She walked toward the older part of the city.
Dim lights,Aging buildings,Rain-soaked roads.
Here,
the city showed a different face.On a shop shutter,those words again
THE CITY KNOWS
Anie stopped.
"What do you know?"
she murmured.
That moment her head spun slightly.
Too many sounds,A distant siren Her hand trembled.She leaned against the wall.

Her emotions surged Fear,Anger,Injustice.She hadn't chosen any of this.Yet everything was falling onto her shoulders.Around her the air trembled faintly.Raindrops seemed to pause in midair for a single moment.
Anie opened her eyes,Terrified.
She drew in a sharp breath.The next instant,everything returned to normal.
She clenched her shaking hands.

I can't let this happen,"she whispered.
Back home,
Anie stood by the window.The city drowned in lights She understood now
there was no hiding anymore.Hunters,
Investigations The city Everything was moving toward her.She picked up her phone.A message

"You are starting to be seen."
Anie stopped breathing.She read it again.Then looked outside rain, city
