(Mira's POV)
For a second, I just stood there.
The bathroom wasn't just big. It was… unreal. The kind of space people only see in magazines or movies. Polished marble floors that felt cool beneath my bare feet. A massive mirror that stretched across one wall. It reflected warm golden light from recessed fixtures hidden in the ceiling. Everything gleamed—clean, quiet, untouched.
It smelled faintly of eucalyptus and something floral, light, and calming. The air itself felt different. Softer. Like it was designed to make you breathe deeper without even realizing it.
In the center of the room sat a deep, sculpted bathtub. It was white, smooth, and surrounded by stone. It had chrome fixtures that looked more like art than plumbing. There was a glass-walled shower that rose from floor to ceiling. With a rain-style showerhead, steam controls, and temperature dials. It looked more complicated than anything I'd ever used before.
This wasn't a bathroom. This was a retreat.
