**Inside the doctor's chamber,**
The doctor was still burning with fury. Twice now Rohit had humiliated him.
First though.. excusable, but this time Rohit had strangled him while he was simply doing his job. With the victim girl resigning and police circling the Singhania family, he felt emboldened.
'How dare a mere boy, not even out of his teens, treat him like this? Belittling him just because of money?' This time he would not let it slide. He also has some backers whose interests can be used as leverage.
That's why he had called Rohit's mother. If he couldn't trap the boy directly, he would dig through her and find something to exploit.
Now Mrs. Ragini Singhania sat across from him, pale, nervous, and far too vulnerable.
He slid a glass of mineral water toward her with practiced sympathy. "You seem very worried. Please, have this. The discussion we'll have may run deep."
Ragini accepted and drained it in one go. "Thank you. I'm alright now. So… what do you want to say?"
