Chapter 9 - Whirlpool Empire cap 9

Gin Uzumaki was a monster

That was the thought many Uzumakis had as they watched him do something incredible.

Hundreds of meters in the air and appearing as just a dot in the sky to the Uzumaki clan members on the ground, no one doubted Gin's power as they sensed from a distance the amount of chakra emanating from his body.

Focused on his task, Gin hovered in the air while mentally connecting with the shadow clones he left in the depths of the sea off the island.

At first the clan elders were skeptical because of the patriarch's order to turn off the island's main defense.

The whirlpools

But Gin was the leader of the clan and they followed his orders, but they still had doubts about what Gin would do.

With a command, all of Gin's underwater clones placed their hands on the ground and connected with the underground magma rivers.

For the past few months, their clones have been manipulating the underground magma rivers to redirect their paths and use them for this purpose.

Using the chakra of the earth and magma element, all the clones opened the earth and all the accumulated magma erupted like a geyser.

Of course, the force of nature was enormous and the amount of magma that erupted was colossal, something that these clones could not easily control.

The task of controlling the magma was in the hands of the main body, and it began to do so when the magma approached the surface of the sea.

In midair, Gin's face developed red markings around his eyes, and the senjutsu chakra accumulated in a seal burst forth and filled his chakra system.

Being better connected to natural energy, Gin was able to take control of the enormous amounts of magma from a distance and bring them to the surroundings of the island.

Little by little, all the members of the Uzumaki clan who had gathered on the shores of the island watched in amazement as an entire sea of magma rose from the ocean and surrounded the whole island.

In a short time, the magma cooled and the size of the island increased.

But things didn't end there.

More and more magma rose from the ocean and the size of the island grew during the following days.

In one week, the 1000 square kilometer island had grown to have an area of 300,000 square kilometers.

An increase of 300 times its size.

While the Uzumakis were in a trance due to this type of power, Gin sent hundreds of his clones to check the condition of the new land and remove toxic elements.

After finding nothing wrong with the new land, the clones went to check the islands that were now nearby.

There were a certain number of indigenous people living on these islands, but it was not a problem for the Uzumaki clan to conquer them.

To avoid unnecessary conflict, they used Genjutsu to gain the loyalty of these people, and the Uzumaki clan now had a large territory.

After confirming the size of the new territory, Gin personally went to create the new barrier of whirlpools in the sea around the islands.

Together with these small islands, the territory of the Uzumaki clan had a size of 320,000 square kilometers.

After such a display of power, Gin ruled the Uzumaki clan and had no one to oppose him for many years.

But of course, people are forgetful, and after a decade some people turned against Gin.

Under Gin's leadership, the Uzumaki clan had prospered greatly and many received a decent education.

Thanks to this education, many talented Uzumakis emerged who wanted more than just to be ordinary citizens.

Although it was not advisable for them to leave the island to go to the mainland, it was not forbidden, so Gin always gave them the possibility of leaving the island whenever they wanted.

But not.

They wanted more, they wanted to be clan leaders.

The first to move was a teacher who had previously accepted many disciples and thanks to that had a large network of contacts.

With so many followers on his side, he began to move to challenge Gin and become the new patriarch.

Or so he told his disciples and other companions.

The truth is that I planned to kill Gin.

With the help of a maid, this guy planned to poison Gin and take advantage of his weakened state to kill him.

That plan was never going to work.

Besides having improved his body long ago so that a poison wouldn't harm him, all his needs were in the hands of his clones.

Gin had never forgotten that this world was a world of Shinobi.

Even the most powerful could fall with a good plan.

That's why he was always attentive to those who approached him, and his clones followed this concept.

Only by being near this maid did one of her clones sense her bad intentions and take matters into her own hands.

Without the intervention of the main body, his clones discovered the entire plot and secretly captured this guy, who would soon be known as the sixth elder.

Knowing that there would always be people who would try to go against him because of his position, Gin knew that killing them all wouldn't solve the problem.

So he decided to force them into his camp.

Since these guys were always talented, it was a waste to simply kill them.

One by one, whenever someone appeared who wanted to seize power from the clan by force, Gin acted first and secretly captured them.

With his great abilities in mental arts, it was easy to manipulate the minds of all these guys and turn them into his loyal subordinates.

From the first one who was made the sixth elder, in charge of the education ministry of the Uzumaki country, to the eighth elder who was the last to attempt a coup 40 years ago, before the end of the clan war.

Since all these guys were geniuses in their generations, Gin could put the job of running the country on their shoulders while he continued his training.

Until now.

Even though the 10 elders were geniuses of their generations, they could not face entire armies and emerge victorious.

Without Gin, the Uzumaki clan would have to rely on their powerful army, a mix of shinobi and samurai, to defend themselves against the armies of the 4 countries.

Although it would be a hard-fought battle, Gin was confident that the army he had created from scratch could win against any army of the elemental nations and remain in good condition.

But it wasn't necessary.

Gin was here and decided it was time for the elemental nations to know his name.

Back in the present, as the Uzumaki clan members returned to their daily tasks, the elemental nations were in confusion.

The countries and villages of the four nations that attacked the Uzumaki clan had no idea what happened to their army.

The ships full of people from the Land of Lightning and the Land of Water who arrived shortly after to occupy the land of the Uzumaki clan found only the destroyed camps and the bodies of nearly 3,000 shinobi.

Many of these bodies were incomplete and there were many missing persons.

If they didn't appear soon, the only possibility was that they would be captured by the Uzumaki clan.

Thinking about the Uzumaki clan, all they knew was that there was a colossal barrier surrounding the entire island of 300,000 square kilometers.

Fearful and unaware of what had happened, the ships from the land of lightning and water quickly returned and spread the news.

While the leaders of the four nations were confused about how their army was defeated by a small clan with 3,000 shinobi, the village that did know what happened was the Leaf Village.

Reading the report in his hand, Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, had confusion written all over his face.

The door to his office was opened and soon his teammates entered.

Danzo Shimura, Homura Mitokado y Koharu Utatane.

"Why did you call us Hiruzen? Was the Uzumaki clan destroyed?" Danzo asked.

Hiruzen shook his head and handed over the report he was holding for them to read.

One by one, his colleagues read the report and shared Hiruzen's confusion.

This was not what they expected.

The report was sent by a special group sent to monitor the conflict, and they had a shinobi from the Hyuga clan who saw everything that happened from a distance.

According to this member of the Hyuga clan, it was fortunate that at that moment he checked the area with his Byakugan and witnessed the Uzumaki clan army fighting against the army of the 4 nations.

According to this member of the Hyuga clan, he could not see the chakra in the bodies of the Uzumakis, and logically, neither could the sensors.

It was a massacre.
