Lin Meiyin wipes her eyes with Jiang Mingxuan and Mo An following her she gets into her car and they drive away to the music foundation. Lin Meiyin stays there clenching her fists, she wanted to stop the pain she was feeling she tore open the bandage and was about to pinch herself again when Gu Chenyu marches into the room.
"Meiyin don't" he said rushing to her and hugging her. Her eyes were red she said nothing, Gu Chenyu strokes her head and looks then cups her face looking into her eyes.
"Lin Meiyin don't you dare do it again" he said.
"He's so shameless I wish I was never born, I'd rather not be born than to have a father like him" said Lin Meiyin.
"Shh Lin Meiyin it's okay" he said pulling her into his embrace again.
"I'm here" he said to her.
After a while Lin Meiyin calmed down and Gu Chenyu dressed her wound again he brings out a nail clipper and trims her nails to stop her from pinching or scratching herself. Her fingers were so bony and tiny in his hands, "Godfather invited us for dinner" he said to her. Lin Meiyin nods and stands up, "You should go freshen up" he said to her, wiping her eyes "Don't let him get in here again" said Gu Chenyu. Lin Meiyin nods and stands up she goes to wash her face and freshen up, Gu Chenyu remembers what Nan Rouchu said.
Lin Meiyin is emotionally unstable which is true, those animals had destroyed her life and still won't let her go and they go around slandering her. When he heard these things he wanted to protect her more. Lin Meiyin came back looking refreshed and she smiles "Let's go" she said. Gu Chenyu carries her bag and he drives to Master Bo's mansion, Master Bo had already prepared dinner waiting for his favorite couple to arrive and then he sees them.
"You finally came to see your old man" he said. Gu Chenyu smiles "Good evening godfather" he greets. "Hello Master" said Lin Meiyin with a smile. Gu Chenyu leads her to the table and drags out a chair for her to sit down and he sits next to her.
"Let's eat" said Master Bo, Gu Chenyu picked some food for Lin Meiyin telling her to eat some more. Master Bo talked a lot and drank some tea with them outside. It had already gotten dark, "It's so late now let's go home" said Lin Meiyin.
"You two are spending the night here by the way you promised me grandkids I hope you two brats are working on that" he said.
Gu Chenyu looked at Lin Meiyin "You know how he is, he really didn't mean to say it" said Lin Meiyin. "Promised grandkids, why don't we just give him one then " he whispered.
Lin Meiyin's cheeks turn red "What are you talking about you're going too far" she said pouting.
"You two get out of here, get to work and give me my grandkids early shoo now!! Away with you!!" He said. Gu Chenyu stands up dragging Lin Meiyin away. "You heard what he said let's get to work dear wife" he said to her. "Shut up stop talking nonsense I wonder if you two drank alcohol instead of tea talking unreasonable things " said Lin Meiyin getting angry. Gu Chenyu chuckles and he goes upstairs to the bedroom closing the door behind them.
"But it's a reasonable thing Lin Meiyin, you're the one being unreasonable one day we're going to have kids" said Gu Chenyu.
"Hmph yeah one day you're going to have kids" said Lin Meiyin going into the bathroom.
Gu Chenyu laughs he couldn't stop she was so cute when she was angry and shy it made him want to tease her more. Lin Meiyin comes out from the bathroom and then she lies down on the bed, Gu Chenyu's gaze landed on her smooth long legs Emma had a very beautiful body she was a bit darker than him. Today she wore shorts and she laid sideways on the bed her legs on each other in a very seductive manner, Gu Chenyu's Adam's apple rolled slightly and he decided to turn his face away. Lin Meiyin was so enticing, he goes to take a shower and comes out from the bathroom Lin Meiyin had already drifted off on the bed her mouth a bit open, Gu Chenyu laid down next to her and then looked down at her his hand resting on his chin. He clicks his tongue then stretches out his hand stroking her long black hair it was soft and slippery like silk, Lin Meiyin turns towards the other side facing him and she bumped into his chest. She rests her head on his chest, this little woman has rolled over the dividing pillow and now she was resting on him. She made the rule and was the first to break it, Gu Chenyu chuckles and watches her sleep. Lin Meiyin runs her head on his chest.
"So warm" she mutters to herself, Gu Chenyu felt his heart melt he could watch her all day. He takes his phone and then takes a picture of Lin Meiyin asleep in his arms how can something be this beautiful when she's asleep, but then he sighs well she didn't love him.
The next morning Lin Meiyin opens her eyes and finds herself snuggled up in Gu Chenyu's arms her eyes widened his hands where wrapped around her and her leg was on his hip. She looked at him, she had never taken a close view of him like this before she could see his sweat pores. She gulped and sees a faint birthmark in his neck,then she remembers something the boy she saved years ago had a spot on his neck Lin Meiyin saw it. Her brows furrowed "He has a birth mark on the neck too" she said, Lin Meiyin bites her lips and then stretches her hand and opens his shirt taking a closer look at it.
Lin Meiyin was confused for a while "Gu Zihan doesn't have a spot on his neck but on his back, yeah she had seen him shirtless. But Gu Chenyu has the birthmark on his neck which was the same one the boy had, but the boy had blue eyes not glass eyes. Lin Meiyin stands up and rubs her forehead she had a lot of things to do today. She stretches and goes to the bathroom brushing her teeth the door was left ajar.
Gu Zihan opens his eyes and looks towards the bathroom door, Lin Meiyin was brushing her teeth her mouth stained with paste foam, Lin Meiyin looks at him and then closes the door. Gu Chenyu stands up and goes to the French window looking outside the window, everything Lin Meiyin did was cute and beautiful he was getting attracted to her, he couldn't help it.
The two had breakfast with Master Bo and Gu Chenyu drops Lin Meiyin off at the music foundation. The car stops Lin Meiyin unbuckles her seatbelt "I'll see you later I'll come pick you up at home, I'll send Meilan to you" he said looking at her. Lin Meiyin nods "Okay" she said waving goodbye and she walks into the music foundation. Gu Chenyu left early because she had a lot of things to do, she goes back home and does some ghostwriting again.
It was three o'clock and Meilan comes in
"It's Mrs Lu, hello" said Meilan with a smile. "Hello Meilan I've been expecting you" said Lin Meiyin.
"I brought a lot of pretty dresses for you to choose all would look good on you anyway" said Meilan dragging Lin Meiyin upstairs with her crew. Lin Meiyin felt tired looking for dresses to wear and one catches her eyes she picks a silver sequined dress, that had an exposed back and a turtle neck, it fitted her perfectly. Meilan's eyes shimmers "Mrs Lu is a true beauty why aren't you a model you have the perfect height and stature" said Meilan.
"I'm not interested in that" said Lin Meiyin.
"Come on have a seat let me give you a few touches" she said. Lin Meiyin sits down and gets transformed, Lin Meiyin's hair was tied beautifully in a messy bun and her makeup was topnotch Lin Meiyin used a skin colored lipstick her lips glowing.
"Mrs Lu is too beautiful, I wish I was a man" said Meilan looking at Lin Meiyin who's brows furrowed as she heard what Meilan said. Aunt Chu comes into the room "Madam Mr Lu is here" she said. Lin Meiyin nods and takes one last look at herself in the mirror and then she stands up and lifts her skirt elegantly going downstairs.
