Lin Meiyin comes downstairs and sees Gu Chenyu sitting down in the living room. She walks past him heading for the door. "Where are you going.?" He asked without looking at her. Lin Meiyin stops "To work" she said.
"On weekends" he said turning to look at her. "It's weekends" she said to herself "Well the foundation is open on weekends only for workers and I'll spend time with my master today" said Lin Meiyin, turning to leave. "You haven't had your breakfast yet" he said. "I'm not hungry by the way I have a lot of things to do" she said running off.
Gu Chenyu hears the door close and puts down the document he was holding his face dark. Now she's avoiding him well he would make her feel so uncomfortable since he was nothing to her he would assert dominance over her. Lin Meiyin was his only his, he didn't know why but the feeling of wanting her by his side was getting stronger he couldn't stop himself from wanting her badly that's why he impulsively kissed her last night and now she's avoiding him.
Lin Meiyin was playing the piano and she kept making mistakes, she stops with an angry look. "Concentrate Lin Meiyin concentrate" she said. "Is Miss Lin having a hard time" came Nan Rouchu's voice as she stood by the door. Lin Meiyin runs her sore forehead and looks at her, "I see a rare visitor" she said.
"Miss Lin is so talented working so hard you should take a break from everything" said Nan Rouchu with a smile.
"Miss Nan is so caring I'm trying to run away but someone bound me in his chains" said Lin Meiyin rubbing some ointment on her hands and massaging them.
"Does Miss Lin mind having lunch with me?" Nan Rouchu asked.
"Okay Miss Nan " said Lin Meiyin standing up and she follows Nan Rouchu to the same restaurant they went to yesterday, "I admire Miss Lin , you are such a talented player" said Nan Rouchu. "Thanks it's what I love doing" said Gu Chenyu.
"I love to invite you to play at my grandfather's 80th birthday he loves music I'm sure he would be fond of you, it's just three weeks away" said Nan Rouchu giving her an invitation card.
"I wouldn't miss it I'll be there" said Lin Meiyin.
"By the way how did you and Gu Chenyu meet I'm curious to know about it, Chenyu's never into relationship stuffs" said Nan Rouchu.
"Well he saved my life, and we got married" said Lin Meiyin.
"It's such a well catching story, are you sure that's what happened Miss Lin we are both women there's nothing to be ashamed of, you can tell me the main story it will just be a secret between us" said Nan Rouchu.
Lin Meiyin smiles "You're going too far I'm not that kind of woman who climbs into rich men's bed just to get rich I'm not a golddigger" said Lin Meiyin. Nan Rouchu gasped "Miss Lin Meiyin is going to far, you are such a good girl by the way I know women like you, you won't last long you guys will probably get divorced soon, I'm the only woman Gu Chenyu has only known and he won't just agree to get married to another woman like that without a reason" said Nan Rouchu. "Are you a surrogate mother I heard his father is pressuring him to get married and to have a grandchild " said Nan Rouchu.
"Gu Chenyu got married, it's his choice to get married he's not devoted to you or made to revolve around your little world Miss Nan, instead of asking me stupid questions and indirectly insulting me why don't you go ask Chenyu himself, let me guess you can't because you're not as close as you say you two are, give up Miss Nan and stop making Gu Chenyu shift farther away from you, you can't have him so you try to chase the other women away from him" said Lin Meiyin standing up.
Nan Rouchu's facial expression changes and then her eyes turn red.
"See you in three weeks time " said Lin Meiyin showing her the card.
"No need to pay this one's for free" she adds winking at Nan Rouchu and storming out of the restaurant. Nan Rouchu watched her leave and she clentches her fists "She's not an easy one I'm going to get you Lin Meiyin" she said sipping a glass of wine. Lin Meiyin storms into the music room with an annoyed look. "Who tha hell does she think she is? Well a typical b**** is what she is" she says sitting down and looking at the piano. "I thought I wouldn't see you today" came Fu Shichen's voice as he walked in. Lin Meiyin sighs "You owe me an explanation you know" he said with an angry look. Lin Meiyin's face was downcast, "I know and I'm sorry about that, I was going to tell you but I wasn't ready to tell you, by the way any husband would get angry seeing another feeding his wife cake and carrying her that way" said Lin Meiyin.
"I'm still mad at you, but you still owe me dinner I hope your husband won't mind" said Fu Shichen. "By the way I still have a lot of questions how did you get involved with Gu Chenyu do you know what that he did?" Fu Shichen. "What did he do?" Lin Meiyin asked her ears perked up. "I don't know if I should tell you but there was a rumor that he shot his own father and his brother" said Fu Shichen.
"What!!" Said Lin Meiyin shivers ran down her spine. "Lin Meiyin I'm still surprised among all the men in the world you chose Gu Chenyu you should be careful before he hurts you too" said Fu Shichen
"I'll be leaving Meiyin have a good day " he said walking away. Lin Meiyin was left alone she was at loss for words "did Gu Chenyu really do that?" " I just wondered why Gu Zihan didn't die in the process, but he would have gone to jail then"
Lin Meiyin clicks her tongue. "I can't just seem to open up that man's head and see what he's thinking about" she grumbled.
Lin Meiyin stayed in the music room and she goes to her Master's house.
Master Bo was in the garden when Lin Meiyin walks in and sees him watering the plants. "Good evening Master" said Lin Meiyin with a little bow. "Ahh my little disciple has come to see me" he said raising his head and checking if she brought any snacks. Lin Meiyin noticed that he was looking at her empty hands and she hides them behind her back. "How about I help you make some flower tea" said Lin Meiyin, "and some little snacks " she adds.
"You came at the right time Grandpa is craving some snacks"he said. Lin Meiyin smiles this was her comfort zone. Lin Meiyin busied herself in the kitchen preparing some snacks and tea, Lin Meiyin carries the tea set and the cookies. She heard her Master talking with someone
"You brat you finally came to see me"said Master Bo. Lin Meiyin was curious to see who the second brat was that didn't come to visit him. Lin Meiyin's eyes widened and she lost her balance as she saw the person who was talking to her Master. It was Gu Chenyu and his head was low "I've been busy Godfather i promise to make it up to you" said Gu Chenyu. CRASH!! The tea set came crashing down, both Gu Chenyu and Master Bo looked at her. "You silly girl" said Master Bo. Lin Meiyin was on the floor with the tea set, Gu Chenyu's nose tingles and he immediately rushes to her holding her waist and raising her up. "Were your eyes at the back of your head look at the mess you made" he said. Lin Meiyin watches as Gu Chenyu sweeps her off her feet, there was a red mark on her knee. "Hey what are you doing put me down" she said her cheeks turning red. Gu Chenyu takes her to sit down. Master Bo's eyes widened as he looks at the two of them and watches them, "Do you two know each other?" He asked.
"Sorry godfather Lin Meiyin's my wife" said Gu Chenyu with a smile. Master Bo looks at Lin Meiyin who's cheeks were red, she couldn't even look at him. "Meiyin you got married to this brat does he bully you?" Master Bo asked.
"I wouldn't dare to" said Gu Chenyu looking at Lin Meiyin with a smile.
"This is the best news I've ever heard nowadays, brat entrust my disciple to you if you break her heart I'll break your head" said Master Bo.
" I promise " said Gu Chenyu giving Lin Meiyin a teasing look. "Hey you two, as you can see this old man isn't getting any older when can I hold my grandkid?" He asked.
Lin Meiyin's cheeks turn redder if she stayed here any longer these two would kill her.
"Master let me go prepare some tea again" she said standing up. "I'll go with you " said Gu Chenyu following her.
" No need I'll be fine " said Lin Meiyin, Gu Chenyu ignores her and drags her into the kitchen, Master Bo shakes his head as he watches them leave.
