Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

When I got back home, I immediately dropped my bag on the floor and flunged myself lazily on the bed, I'd be lying if I said today wasn't stressful. I didn't know where all the classes were and not to even talk about how far each class was to another. It almost made me think Gabriella set up my schedule.

Well.... maybe by the end of this year I would be as fit as a fiddle.

I don't even know what a fiddle is.

I took off my clothes and changed into something comfortable. Then I sat on my bed and took my phone from my bag, dialing Robert's number.

He picked on the third ring.

"Robby! " I exclaimed excitedly on the phone.

"How's my baby sister doing?." He asked with a low chuckle.

"Not good, I miss you ." I muttered.

"Yeah I know darling. I miss you too, but you know what? . We're going to be getting a little break soon, and I'm coming home. "

"Really?!"

"Yeah, but it's probably in a couple of weeks, so don't expect me too soon. " He added.

"Yeah I get it, but you'll come right? " I asked.

"I will. "He replied.

I couldn't help the smile that broke to my face, nothing makes me more happier than having Robert around.

"I gotta go, we'll talk later....when I'm not busy okay? " he said.

"okay, bye. I love you. "

"I love you too sis." he said and cut the line.

I dropped my phone and sighed, now what do I do?. I looked at my reading table to look at the pile books waiting for me. Maybe I could do some read ahead? . Meh, I'll just do that later. Right now, I'm hungry.

Just then, my stomach decided to rumble furiously, I chuckled and patted it softly.

" Let's get you some food then. "

The next day at school, after sleeping late and waking up early, the fatigue was beginning to catch up with me.

I yawned as I took my order from the burger truck parked beside the school cafeteria. I hadn't gotten any sleep last night, I sighed, it's the second day of school and I'm already tired. I hated waking up early for school. At least Gabriella and I had that in common.

Talking about Gabriella, she won't let me come close to her and her friends, she's always with them, Tess and Anna, and I've learned to maintain my distance.

So as it seems, Gabriella had her friend believe I was the bad twin, not that I cared. And it seemed like Anna who was so excited to see me yesterday now looks at me like I robbed her. Not that I cared either.

I scanned around the cafeteria, looking for an empty table, I scoffed when I realized all the tables were occupied.

Today is not my day.

I turned around to leave but I bumped into someone, so hard my food flew out of my hands and I fell on my butt.

"What the hell?!" I heard a yell above me.

I was also thinking about the same thing, like who's gonna pay for my food?. And I think I have a broken butt.

Broken butt... I chuckled to myself.

"You think this is funny?!'' The voice snapped again and I looked up to find a very beautiful girl scowling at me, she's probably the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She wore a cute grey crop top and a black and white gridded shirt, over it, her silky smooth leggings hugged her curvy legs down to the black heel boots she wore to match.

While I was busy ogling her, I didn't realize she was getting angrier.

"Are you blind or something?!, can't you see where you're going?" I heard her snap again.

I sighed and slowly got up, she needs to calm down, my food is gone and I have a broken butt, we're both at fault here.

I looked up to her face and our eyes met, her brown eyes widened and she looked confuse for a minute, then she took a step back.

And the next thing I knew, she bent down in front of me to help me up.

"Are you okay? " She asked me.

Huh?

Didn't she just scowled at me like she wished I was six feet under the ground?.

And judging by the look on her face, she looked confused at what she was doing as well.

"Your lunch is completely ruined, I'll get you another one don't worry. "

I think we both missed something.

Then I realized, the cafeteria was so silent you could hear a pin drop. Oh my gosh no, I hated this kind of attention, I hoped it was her they were looking at. Then she dragged me back to the burger truck and got me another lunch with extra large smoothy, as an 'apology' , that's what she said.

"come sit with me ." She ordered and practically dragged me back to her table. There was only one girl at the table who looked strikingly beautiful as well, they're probably sisters.

Her long bright brown hair was pulled back in a tight ponytail, showing of her curvy neck and milky white skin. She was so pale I was starting to think she was unwell. She had a blank look on her face as her grey eyes raked up and down my body.

I like her style and I would love to know her skin care routine but now she's just being wierd looking at me like that.

I'm pretty sure I looked good. Though the huge scarf I wrapped around my neck might have ruined it from her own perspective. But I had to do it.

Her eyes met mine again and she narrowed them at me before turning to the girl standing beside me, questioning her with her eyes.

"This is uh....." she turned and stared at me.

Then I realized that she realized that she didn't know my name. I realized I didn't know hers either.

"Rose, Rosaline, but Rose for short. " I gave a nervous laugh.

"Alright, I'm Reniece," The girl standing with me introduced "and this is Kirsty. " She introduced the other girl.

"It's nice to meet you." I said smiling at both of them.

"Same. " Reniece smiled back at me.

Reniece towerd over me, she was a tall woman, something I find incredibly unique. Her deep orange hair almost looking red was one of her striking features.

I actually realized her brown eyes had a speck of golden highlight, making her eyes glow when ever light reflected on it. While Kristy's grey eyes looked so light it was almost silver .

We sat down together at the table and I felt their eyes on me as I ate. Most especially Kirsty.

The silence had broken a bit, I could hear a few murmurs here and there., but I was sure most of them were still looking at us. Hopefully not and I'm just imagining things.
