Flashback: Ten Years Ago.
In a quiet corner of the elite private school, the afternoon sunlight streamed through the large windows of the Math Olympiad and Science Bowl club room. The room served as a sanctuary for the school's brilliant minds, a place where formulas and theories were the primary language. Celine sat there, completely immersed in her own world.
"Celine," Kevin called out as he walked in. As a fellow club member, Kevin's presence was a common sight.
"Hi, Kevin," Celine replied softly. Her gaze remained magnetically fixed on the pages of the book in her hands, not wavering for a single second.
"What are you reading?" Kevin asked. Curiosity drew him closer.
Celine paused her reading for a moment. With a graceful motion, she lifted the book, tilting the cover so Kevin could see it clearly.
"This book is incredible, Kevin. You really should read it," Celine said with a spark of genuine interest she rarely displayed.
