Inside the Kingdom of Yunion, Ryohei, Ritsu, Ryota, and Yahiko were meeting to discuss what had happened at the border dungeon between the Kingdom of Yunion and the Kingdom of Kong.
Ryohei: I see. What a crazy alliance! (laughs) Are your squad members alright, Yahiko?
Yahiko: Ah, they're recovering. And I won't easily forget what that bastard Batori did. I'll make him pay for what he did.
Ryota: So what happened was expected. The Diablos organization is very cunning.
Yahiko: That's true, but to be honest, they're really strong. Batori and I couldn't even touch him. (slams his hand on the table.) Destructive power and a feeling like an immense, demonic force.
Ryota: You felt it too, Yahiko.
Rytsu wonders: What's their goal? And, more complicated still, how did he absorb such a massive monster as the Hydra?
Yahiko: I heard him say Megalon! What's the story behind that skill?
Ryota: I think it's a summoning technique for an immense demonic force. Ryohei recalls his conversation with Lucas Sato, the commander of the Union Army: "Lucas told me there's another kind of magic. Yes, it's a destructive, demonic magic."
Retsu: "That's right. Fifth Division Commander Raiden has headed south."
Ryohei: "We'll wait and see what happens. I've sent Hnamiya (the commander of the Seventh Division) and Rindo (the commander of the Second Division) after him. They'll support Raiden there."
At the Hidden God Mountain, Ivan was replenishing his magical energy with his normal body. He sat with his eyes closed inside a magical circle he had created to contain the pain he was experiencing.
In the desert of Antika City:
In Antika City, three kilometers south of the Union Kingdom, lies the town of Tato. Raiden Mukane, who possesses sand magic and the spirit of the legendary kangaroo (Thaien), arrived with his squad members:
Deputy Ashley Sotani: Spirit Magic user
Hakuba Node: Water Magic user Rayon Nissei: Uses sun magic. Yuri Kamda (brother of the Ninth Division's deputy commander Tatsuo Kamda): Uses earth magic and has two hammers. He inherited his hair, eyes, and magic from his father, while Tatsuo inherited his hair and magic from his mother.

Raiden: Thank you for your hospitality, Mayor.
Mayor: It is an honor for us to have a squad from the Kingdom of Union here.
Raiden: So, what happened, Mayor?
The Mayor's expression changed, his face turning ashen like desert sand on a cold night. He gestured with a trembling hand toward the window overlooking the summit of the massive pyramid perched atop the hill.
Mayor (in a shaky voice): "It began three nights ago, Commander Raiden. The Temple of Akhenaten, that pyramid which has graced the summit of our town for millennia as a symbol of peace, suddenly became a source of terror. In the middle of the night, the pyramid's roof split open, and a dark purple beam, unseen before, emanated from it. There, the Magic Gate appeared."
Raiden (narrowing his eyes and feeling for his hammer): "Gate?" "Do you mean a teleportation portal or a summons portal?"
Mayor: "We don't know, but the air around the temple has become heavy, and we heard the scream of some monster there. Worse still, many sand monsters have appeared, including a monstrous sandworm."
Deputy: "Does this have anything to do with what happened two years ago?"
Rayden: "That's right, Ashley. The magical realm has changed a lot. The appearance of so many of these portals will be disastrous in the future."
Rayon Nessie: "What are we going to do, Commander?"
Rayden: "We'll find out tomorrow what's happening and see how we deal with this magical portal. And by the way, Mayor, all citizens of the town are to stay indoors until we've dealt with this."
Meanwhile, Hana Sato, a member of the first squad, was hiding in an abandoned building with Dan Watro.
Dan: Is this the right place?
Hana: Yes, I'm sure of it. This temple, in its secret location, contains the wings of the angel Gabriel.
Dan: The fifth squad and Commander Raiden are here, and I also heard that the commanders of the seventh and second squads are here.
Hana: Don't worry, we'll sneak in very quietly and keep them busy with the monster inside the pyramid.
Morning came, and the members of the fifth squad began their mission with Raiden.
Giant worm monsters attacked them in droves, but they fought them off skillfully.
Raiden: This mission is difficult, guys. Don't push yourselves too hard; we haven't even entered the pyramid yet.
A full day passed with the squad fighting the worm monsters, and they returned to the town to rest after completing the first phase of the mission.
Raiden: The most dangerous part begins tomorrow, so let's get ready, guys. The second morning arrived, and Raiden and his companions had already made their way to the temple, while Hannah and Dan watched them from a distance.
They reached the entrance to the temple's pyramid, a uniquely designed structure adorned with ancient reliefs from a legendary civilization—yes, the mythical Golden Atlantis. One relief depicted the golden winged thunder dragon Ra, and another, a misleading image of a mythical deity.
Raidan was astonished by what he saw: "This is truly amazing! These are incredibly ingeniously crafted reliefs."
At that moment, a tremendous roar from the pyramid's monsters echoed. Raiden declared, "The mission begins."
