Chapter 6 - THE GUARDIAN HEAVEN NEVER QUESTIONED.

Kael Ashwyn did not notice the change immediately.

At first, it was subtle.

The air around him felt… heavier.

Not oppressive like the Heavenly Seal.

Not sharp like killing intent.

It was watchful 👁️.

🌅 Morning Under Surveillance 🌅

The academy awoke as usual.

Floating bells rang softly 🔔

Students gathered in the courtyards ☁️

Angelic statues shimmered in the morning light ✨

Kael walked alone, as always.

Yet today—

He felt eyes on him.

Not mortal eyes.

Something higher.

Inside his soul,

Azrath Cain stirred slightly 😈

"They've assigned one."

Kael swallowed.

"A watcher?"

"No," Azrath replied calmly.

"A leash."

😇 Descent of the Guardian 😇

At the center of the academy plaza, space folded inward 🌌

Light condensed.

Students gasped 😲

A figure descended slowly from the sky.

Six wings of pale gold unfolded behind her 🪽✨

White armor etched with divine law reflected the sun ⚖️

Her eyes were calm, empty, absolute.

Seraph Lysara

She did not announce herself.

She simply existed.

Every student felt it—

The pressure to bow.

Many did.

Some resisted.

Kael remained standing.

Not defiant.

Not submissive.

Just… still.

Lysara's gaze swept the plaza—then stopped.

On him.

⚖️ Heaven's Decree ⚖️

A voice echoed from nowhere and everywhere.

"By decree of the Upper Heaven,

the Heavenly Vessel shall be placed under direct guardianship."

Whispers exploded.

"Direct guardian?!"

"That's only for high-threat vessels!"

"But he's F-rank!"

Lysara stepped forward.

Her footsteps made no sound.

She stopped one pace away from Kael.

"I am Seraph Lysara," she said neutrally 😇

"I will observe you. Protect you. Correct you."

Kael met her gaze.

"…Correct me?"

"If deviation is detected," she replied calmly,

"I will intervene."

A pause.

"Permanently, if necessary."

🌸 Elara's Reaction 🌸

From the upper terrace,

Elara Virelyn watched silently 🌸

Her fingers tightened on the railing.

A guardian angel…

Not for protection.

For containment.

So Heaven noticed after all, she thought.

Her gaze flicked briefly—

To Kael.

Then to the angel.

Something didn't align.

Lysara's aura was flawless.

Too flawless.

As if…

She were deliberately not sensing something.

🌑 Noctis Notices the Wrong Thing

From a shaded archway,

Noctis Vale watched with half-lidded eyes 😴

"Huh," he muttered.

Kael glanced at him later, when no one was listening.

"…What?"

Noctis scratched his cheek.

"That angel's senses are bound."

Kael froze.

"Bound?"

"Yeah," Noctis replied casually.

"She's not allowed to perceive anything beyond Heaven's parameters."

He smirked faintly.

"Which means…"

He leaned closer and whispered—

"Even if a king stood in front of her,

she'd only see a pawn."

⛓️ The First Command ⛓️

Lysara followed Kael everywhere.

Classes 📚

Training grounds ⚔️

Even the dining hall 🍽️

She spoke rarely.

When she did, it was precise.

"Sit straighter."

"Your breathing is inefficient."

"Pain response noted. Continue."

She healed his injuries when necessary ✨

But never completely.

Enough to survive.

Never enough to thrive.

Kael endured.

Silently.

Inside—

The Demon King watched.

Patiently.

🌌 The Night Test 🌌

Three nights later—

Kael woke abruptly.

The seal burned 🔥⛓️

Lysara stood at the foot of his bed.

"Come," she said.

No explanation.

They walked beyond the academy—past the barriers, into a sealed valley 🌑

"This area is warded," Lysara explained.

"No observation. No witnesses."

She turned.

"This is a compliance test."

The ground trembled.

A Heavenly Suppression Field activated ⚖️✨

Kael dropped to one knee instantly 😖

His vision blurred.

The seal tightened violently.

"Endure," Lysara commanded.

"A true vessel must withstand Heaven's will."

Kael clenched his teeth.

Inside his soul—

Azrath Cain stood.

Still.

"Do not resist," he said quietly 😈

"Let them press harder."

Kael obeyed.

The pressure increased.

Cracks spread—not in Kael—

But in the seal itself ⚡

Lysara frowned.

"…Strange."

Her instruments detected nothing abnormal.

Yet—

The field began to destabilize.

Not explode.

Submit.

As if something within Kael was allowing it.

Then—

Azrath Cain whispered.

"Enough."

The pressure vanished.

Kael collapsed, gasping.

Lysara stared.

For the first time—

Confusion crossed her perfect face.

👁️ A Thought Heaven Didn't Plant

"Vessel," Lysara said slowly.

"Yes?" Kael replied weakly.

"…What are you?"

The question escaped before she could stop it.

Silence.

Then—

Lysara straightened.

"Disregard. That was unnecessary."

She turned away.

But something had changed.

That night—

For the first time—

A guardian angel dreamed.

Of a broken crown 👑

Of chains melting ⛓️

Of a throne waiting in darkness 😈
