Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 : Spark of Destiny

The city's ruins were quiet… too quiet.

After the confrontation with Darkos, Yami could still feel the weight of fear pressing down on him. The echoes of the tyrant's laugh lingered in his mind, a cruel reminder that the battle was far from over.

Felix and Arkan walked beside him, their steps steady but tense. The night air was cold, but Yami felt a different chill running through his body—anticipation, fear… and something else.

"Yami," Felix said quietly, breaking the silence. "You're holding back. I can feel it."

Yami shook his head. "I… I don't even know what I can do. That man… he's not like anyone I've ever faced."

Arkan placed a firm hand on his shoulder. "That's exactly why you must awaken your power. You survived falling from the sky for a reason. There's a spark inside you waiting to ignite."

Yami swallowed hard. The words struck a chord deep within him. A spark… a destiny he hadn't yet understood.

They reached an abandoned square, broken stone pillars scattered across the ground. The moonlight glinted off shattered windows, casting fractured shadows around them.

"This will be your trial," Arkan said. "Focus. Let yourself feel the spark. Don't think, just act."

Yami's heart raced. He clenched his fists, feeling energy stirring inside his chest—a faint warmth, growing stronger. He closed his eyes, drawing in a shaky breath.

Suddenly—a sharp cry cut through the night. A group of Darkos' soldiers appeared from the shadows, weapons drawn, eyes glowing red.

"Time to see what you're made of," one of them sneered.

Felix stepped forward, his aura flaring, ready to protect Yami. But Yami felt it… the spark inside him, demanding action.

Before he could hesitate, the energy erupted.

A brilliant blue flame shot from his hands, dancing like lightning. It surged outward, hitting the nearest soldier with incredible force. The impact threw him against the wall, leaving a smoldering mark.

Yami's eyes snapped open. "I… I did that?" he whispered, awe and fear in his voice.

Arkan nodded, a small smile breaking his usually stern expression. "Yes. That is only the beginning. Control it, and it will be your greatest ally. Lose control… and it will consume you."

Felix grinned, fists glowing with his own energy. "Looks like the spark has chosen you, Yami. Now we fight… together."

The soldiers advanced again, more cautious this time, sensing the new power surging from Yami. He took a deep breath, feeling a strange calm settle over him.

The spark inside wasn't just energy—it was destiny.

And in that moment, Yami realized: no matter the darkness, no matter the tyrant… he had the power to change everything.

He stepped forward, fists ignited with blue flame, eyes burning with determination.

"This… this is my fight!" he shouted, and the square erupted into chaos.

Energy clashed, sparks flew, and Yami's first battle as a true warrior had begun.

The spark of destiny had awakened.

And nothing would ever be the same again.
