Uchiha Chiriko was sitting comfortably on a hanging egg chair.

Seeing the public anger, Kamikaze shouted loudly.
"Uchiha clan, you're not even pretending to work anymore?!
This morning, because of the failure to prevent unrest caused by you, thieves took advantage of the situation, and you couldn't even protect Takahashi-dono's goods. Now, instead of searching for the thieves, you're sitting here comfortably?!

Takahashi, however, remained silent.
First, he understood the temperament of the Uchiha clan. One had to be respectful—otherwise, if another Uchiha Madara were to arise, seven generations would suffer.
Second, if a dog was barking for its owner, why should he waste his own words?
Chiriko heard Kamikaze's accusations but said nothing. He simply began walking toward him.
"Y-you… what do you think you're—"
SLAP!!!
Chiriko didn't let him finish. In a single movement, he appeared in front of Kamikaze and delivered a powerful slap.
Kamikaze was sent crashing to the ground. His thoughts paused completely. For a moment, he sat there in a daze, unable to think.
Seeing this, Takahashi broke into a slight sweat—but looked at Kamikaze with gratitude.
The ninjas present were about to retaliate, but suddenly felt a chill, as if a beast was staring at them. Instinct told them that if they dared to move, they would die.

After five more slaps, Kamikaze finally understood the cruel truth of the world. He lowered his head, thinking there was no reason left to hit him. I would not argue with you, you can't slap me now, right?

Something broke inside Kamikaze's heart.
If Kamikaze were an Uchiha, his Mangekyō would have awakened on the spot, and he would have ground Chiriko to dust with Susanoo.
Unfortunately, what broke was not power—but his faith in the world.
