Metal particles, swirling like black water, parted before him.
He bore the form of a human—
yet this world should have contained no human survivors.
In response to his presence, liquid metal stirred. Rust-scented particles converged, assembling into a face—one so immense it spanned nearly the diameter of the sun.
A viscous smile crept across one side of the colossal visage as it gazed down upon the human, who stood before it no larger than a speck of dust.
The metal spoke.
Its voice rang out like colliding steel, reverberating across space itself.
"Does this world truly desire change, Zeus?"
