The boss son prologue

There was a time when everyone knew his name.

Not because he had achieved something great… but because he was the son of the most powerful crime boss in the city.

His father ruled an empire that stretched across businesses, construction companies, nightclubs, and underground dealings that ordinary people could only whisper about. Politicians respected him, businessmen feared him, and enemies thought twice before even speaking his name.

Because of that power, his son grew up surrounded by wealth and privilege.

At school, he was infamous.

Not for intelligence or talent, but for his arrogance.

He was the kind of student teachers hated dealing with and the kind classmates secretly despised. He abused his father's influence whenever he wanted. If someone annoyed him, they would suddenly find their parents' company under pressure… or worse, their family losing important contracts.

So people learned to tolerate him.

His so-called friends laughed at his jokes, followed him around, and obeyed his demands. But none of them stayed because they liked him.

They stayed because he paid for everything.

Expensive meals. Parties. Clothes. Games. Whatever they wanted.

And if money wasn't enough, there was always the fact that his father owned or controlled many of their parents' companies.

To them, he was less of a friend and more of a walking wallet with dangerous connections.

Despite everything, he had one thing people couldn't deny.

He was good-looking.

Tall, sharp-featured, and naturally charismatic, he easily attracted attention wherever he went. But behind the confident smile and expensive clothes was a boy who had never truly struggled for anything.

He had power.

But he had never earned it.

And worst of all… he was weak.

Not physically strong, not particularly smart, and not capable of surviving in the world without his father's shadow protecting him.

For fifteen years, that shadow protected him from everything.

Until the day it disappeared
