Chapter 12 - holo

It was dark, with only the fake crescent moon illuminating the surrounding and the forest in the entire domain.

'why this one though? Of all the dreams, why did it have to be this? I was also daydreaming and thinking about my other novels as well.

*Sigh*

He breathed out.

'am not comfortable here.', he said in his mind.

He took his gaze away from the fairy and decided to observe more of his surrounding, or to be precise, the people in his surrounding.

'Will I get the chance to see him? What would he look like?'

Indaboski started to feel a tinge of excitement, about the fact that he might get to see what the main character of his novel, of this world, looked like.

The character that was destined to suffer endlessly in this world.

'unfortunate soul.'

"The kingdom is still standing because of the magic of our kingdom's greatest wizard."

The fairy continued.

"The Great Wizard Of Oz, Merlinn Emberwyn."

"D–Dear fairy," a voice suddenly interrupted the fairy." so–sorry to interrupt."

Indaboski swept his gaze towards the direction, in hope of finding the speaker.

"Hmm?"

"Sorry, I don't mean to offend you."

The lady hurriedly replied.

"B–B–But as can see n–none of us have any supernatural powers like the people in your world, e–even they have I don't."

"We will grant you powers."

"Huh?"

*Beep*

'this voice.'

"I don't know how to fight nor do I have any battle strength or experience. I will be more of a hindrance to you."

The lady from before spoke.

"That's why I think its best yo—"

"We will handle it."

The fairy paused and swept her gaze at the crowd.

"You will all receive military training, to prepare you for the war. You will be assigned to a military post where you will undergo your training."

'the details are the same.'

"Wh–W–What is this."

"What the hell, are you planning to kill us."

"Am I seeing double."

"How can you call this options."

Members of the crowd cried out.

'The Diary Of Oz, a terrifying horror novel.'

Thousands of people voiced out their complaints.

Sounds clashed against sounds, complaints clashed against complaints.

The roar of thousands of people was deafening, suddenly, a familiar voice echoed.

A hush descended over the people gathered.

As though a heavy curtain had been drawn around those assembled.

"Silence."

The mighty figure commanded.

"Eryndor."

"Yes master", the fairy replied.

"Select any region that is most suitable to you, then we will you teleport outside the base in that kind of region."

Silence.

The crowd was quiet.

"Remember, you will be teleported outside the base, a bit far but no too far. You are to stay there and not move, until our forces come pick you up."

"W–Why? Why are being teleported far from the base?"

Someone in the crowd asked.

"For security measures," the fairy gave a brief pause and continued." One of the reasons is that we don't want enemies to be able to directly teleport inside the military base, if they should find out where the base or one of our forces were stationed."

"Ohh."

The crowd exclaimed, in understanding.

"B–But why are the forces stationed in this kind of regions?"

Someone couldn't help but ask.

The fairy answered.

"To conceal ourselves, who would imagine a nation to dispatch their military forces in a volcanic region or a hazardous place filled with disease."

"Let me tell you, no one."

The person kept quiet, unable to retort to the reasoning no matter how bizarre it seemed. He was also afraid of course.

The fairy swept her gaze across the crowd.

"But before that."

Immediately the fairy finished speaking.

Indaboski started feeling dizzy, he clutched his chest, feeling heavy inside. It only lasted a few seconds before the feeling suddenly vanished, like it never happened before.

He regained his calm.

He looked up and saw a presence, he saw faint figures coming out of each and everyone in the crowd.

'these are our souls.'

The souls stretched towards the direction of the throne, where the fairy and mysterious figure stood.

Each souls were stuffed into a round circular metal box to form...

A Gaesh.
