Chapter 1 - Chapter 3 (end

Months passed, but she never stopped seeing him in her dreams. Each night, they'd walk along that beach—waves crashing gently at their feet, the sky painted in shades of pink and gold. He'd tell her about the songs he was writing now, and she'd share all the little moments from her day that she wished he could be there for.

One afternoon, she visited the music studio he'd loved so much. The owner handed her a worn leather journal—something Liam had left behind with instructions to give it to her only after he was gone.

Inside were pages filled with lyrics, sketches of her face, and letters he'd written but never sent. On the last page, dated the day they'd first met, he'd written:

"I knew the moment I saw her that she was the one from my dreams. I also knew my heart might not let me stay with her as long as I want. But love isn't about how much time you have—it's about how deeply you give it. She's my forever, even if forever can't be here with me."

Tucked between the pages was a small silver ring—one he'd always worn on his pinky finger. It fit her perfectly.

That night, as she lay in bed wearing the ring, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. When she opened them, he was there, holding out his hand with that familiar smile.

"I have something to show you," he said, leading her down a path she'd never seen before—lined with glowing flowers that looked like tiny stars. At the end stood a beautiful house, with music drifting from the windows.

"This is where we'll be," he told her, pulling her close. "Not just in dreams anymore—not when you carry me in your heart. Our love doesn't end when life does. It just finds a new way to stay alive."

She woke up with tears of joy on her cheeks, feeling his presence all around her. Looking out the window, she saw a single platinum blonde hair resting on her pillow—and outside, a song she'd never heard before played softly from a radio she hadn't turned on.

From that day on, she lived her life with the same warmth and passion he'd shown her. She started a music program for kids, using the songs he'd written to bring joy to others. And every night, she knows he'll be waiting—because some connections are stronger than time, stronger than life itself.

Their story wasn't a tragedy of how it ended—it was a love story about how it never really could.

End.
