Andre just nodded and left Reza's family house.
Meanwhile, Nadia also heard the news about Reza being beaten up at the hotel. At first, she felt happy because Reza was getting what he deserved for his actions. However, she then felt sorry and worried about Reza's condition. "Let him face the consequences of his own deeds," Nadia murmured to herself. But her heart still felt uneasy. She couldn't just forget about Reza.
A few days later, Mita's family came to Reza's house. They demanded that Reza take responsibility and marry Mita. They threatened to report Reza to the police if he refused their request. "Your son must marry Mita! He has ruined our daughter's future!" Mita's mother shouted hysterically. Reza's father tried to calm Mita's family down and explained that Reza did not love Mita. He also said that Reza and Mita had sexual relations consensually, not by force. "But your son has ruined our daughter's future! He must take responsibility!" Mita's mother insisted. Reza finally came out of his room and faced Mita's family. He firmly stated that he would not marry Mita. "I don't love Mita. We had sexual relations consensually. I did not force Mita," Reza said in a cold tone. Mita's family became even angrier upon hearing Reza's words. They threatened to report him to the police on charges of rape. "Go ahead and report me to the police. But I'm sure the police won't believe your accusations. Moreover, Mita is a civil servant. If this case goes to court, Mita's career as a civil servant will be destroyed," Reza said in a threatening tone.
Mita's family fell silent. They realized Reza was right. If the case went to court, Mita's career as a civil servant would be ruined. They finally backed down and left Reza's house feeling annoyed.
Meanwhile, Nadia decided to take a one-week vacation to Singapore. She wanted to forget all her problems and calm down. On the Jakarta-Singapore flight, Nadia was seated next to a handsome man. The man introduced himself as Ranu. He said he was on vacation before starting work at a company in Indonesia. Ranu had been studying and working in London.
From the first moment they met, Ranu had fallen in love with Nadia. He was captivated by her beauty and the mysterious aura she exuded. However, Nadia acted cold and distant towards him. She thought Ranu was a playboy who only wanted to toy with her. She didn't want to get hurt again after being betrayed by Reza. "You must fly to Singapore often, right?" Ranu asked, trying to start a conversation. "Not really. This is my first time going to Singapore," Nadia replied shortly without looking at him.
Ranu didn't give up. He kept trying to get Nadia's attention in various ways. He told stories about his time living in London, cracked funny jokes, and gave sincere compliments. But Nadia remained cold and uninterested. She only answered his questions when necessary and mostly stayed silent.
Ranu realized Nadia was trying to keep her distance. But he didn't give up easily. He felt there was something interesting about her and wanted to get to know her better. "If you don't mind, I'd be happy to accompany you during your one-week stay in Singapore. I can be your personal guide," Ranu offered. Nadia was surprised by his offer. She hadn't expected Ranu to be so interested in her. "I'm sorry, but I don't need a companion on my vacation. I prefer to spend time alone," Nadia said, refusing him. "Come on, Nadia. Don't be so rigid. We can have fun together. I promise I won't bother you if you don't like it," Ranu kept persuading her. Nadia finally softened. She felt bad about refusing his offer repeatedly. She also thought it might not be wrong to try opening up and socializing with new people. "Alright, but don't expect me to be friendly to you," Nadia said in a warning tone. Ranu smiled happily. "Don't worry. I'll try to make you comfortable."
During the week in Singapore, Ranu did his best to win Nadia over. He took her to visit popular tourist spots, try local Singaporean cuisine, and shop for souvenirs. At first, Nadia was still cold and kept her distance from Ranu. But gradually, she began to feel comfortable with his presence. She started laughing at his jokes and enjoying the time they spent together.
One night, Ranu took Nadia to a famous nightclub in Singapore. They danced and enjoyed drinks together. The crowded atmosphere and thumping music brought them closer. Unconsciously, they got lost in the moment. Ranu moved his face close to Nadia's and gently kissed her lips. Nadia was surprised by the kiss. She tried to pull away, but Ranu deepened the kiss. Nadia finally gave in and kissed him back. She felt something strange inside her. She had never felt such a sensation before. Ranu's kiss made her feel comfortable and safe.
After a while, they pulled apart. Nadia felt guilty and embarrassed. She shouldn't have kissed Ranu. She was still legally married to someone else, even though she was in the process of getting a divorce. "Forgive me, Ranu. I shouldn't have done this," Nadia said regretfully. "It's okay, Nadia. I understand. I'm sorry too for kissing you," Ranu said gently.
But the night didn't end there. After returning to the hotel, neither of them could sleep. They kept thinking about the kiss that had happened at the nightclub. Eventually, Ranu knocked on Nadia's door. Nadia opened it feeling nervous. "I can't sleep, Nadia. I keep thinking about you," Ranu whispered. Nadia didn't respond. She just looked at him with a longing gaze. Ranu moved closer and kissed her passionately. This time, Nadia didn't resist. She kissed him back with all her heart. They kissed wildly and passionately. Ranu picked Nadia up and carried her to the bed. They took off all their clothes and made love passionately. That night, Nadia and Ranu spent time together making love fervently and sharing stories with each other. They felt closer and had fallen in love with one another.
The next morning, Nadia and Ranu had breakfast together feeling awkward. Both of them knew they had done something they shouldn't have. "I... I don't know what to say," Nadia said, breaking the silence. "Me neither, Nadia. But I don't regret it," Ranu replied, holding her hand. Nadia looked at him with a confused expression. "What do you mean?" "I like you, Nadia. I fell in love with you the moment we first met," Ranu confessed honestly. Nadia was surprised by his admission. She hadn't expected Ranu to love her. "But I... I'm still married to someone else," Nadia said sadly. "I know. But I don't care. I'll wait for you until you're truly free," Ranu said confidently.
