Chapter 43: The Tradition of Making Friends in Hot-Blooded Anime

Yhwach remained silent, but in secret, he exerted every effort to pierce the mystery of Mo Yu's gaze, or perhaps to counter and isolate it.

The results were negligible. No matter what he did, Mo Yu's gaze remained there, overlooking him from on high. Mo Yu did not speak either, simply waiting to see if Yhwach, a being at the peak of this world, possessed any means to repel his sight. Meanwhile, Mo Yu activated his Omniscience authority to analyze Yhwach's existence.

The Omniscience authority was quite cooperative. It charged into the computer, pulled out a magnifying glass, and scrutinized Yhwach's face. It even changed into a white lab coat, took out a stethoscope, lifted Yhwach's clothes for a physical exam, gripped his hand to take his pulse, and finally pulled out a pen and paper to solemnly write a medical report, which it then shoved into Mo Yu's mind.

Mo Yu couldn't help but rub his eyes. When he snapped back to reality, he realized all of that had been a hallucination in his mind.

"The way this Omniscience authority operates feels weirder and weirder. Good thing Yhwach doesn't know what just happened, otherwise, it would be a total disgrace to my status as an Old Testament God!"

Because of the "Omniscience," even the specific inner workings of the authority surfaced in his mind. It wasn't the first time Mo Yu had received such information, and every time, he felt a strong urge to complain. Regardless, the medical report provided by the authority was valuable.

Mo Yu's previous guesses were verified. Yhwach did indeed possess an "original state," which was his true body and the root of his claim as the Son of the Soul King. However, some guesses were wrong; Yhwach's intelligence and will weren't merely stitched together from the lives and souls of believers. He possessed a will of his own, though this will had to be built upon the soil constructed by those lives and souls.

Based on this report, Yhwach was somewhat similar to the current "Demon Muscle Man" version of Rukia. The Hogyoku was the core and foundation, while Rukia's flesh was merely a vessel to carry and extend its will. Of course, they were only somewhat similar; in terms of existence, Yhwach was far stronger than Rukia, because Rukia was not the master of the Hogyoku, whereas Yhwach reigned supreme over his own power.

In a sense, the late-game Aizen, sealed in Muken but fully fused with the Hogyoku, was closer to Yhwach's state—but still just "close," as they weren't the same species of being.

Technicalities aside, Mo Yu learned one vital point: the part of Yhwach that belonged to the Soul King could be brought under Mo Yu's control. The problem was that to achieve this, he would need to beat Yhwach back into his original state.

Mo Yu also thought of the other Soul King fragments: Mimihagi sealed in Ukitake, Pernida Parnkgjas (the Right Hand), and Gerard Valkyrie (the Heart). To dominate the parts they carried, he would likely need to kill them all at least once.

But Mo Yu wasn't in a hurry. While the scattered limbs were helpful as "anchors" for his interference, they weren't essential. Only the torso in the Soul King Palace—representing the main body and status—was his ultimate prize.

Silence wouldn't last forever. Yhwach, having exhausted his secret methods to no avail, showed no negative emotion. He spoke coldly:

"Enough of this worthless small talk. You must be the one behind those endless blood eyes above the Seireitei. So, you who have caused such a stir in the Soul Society, what do you want from me?"

"I originally wanted to chat and see if there was room for cooperation. But now I feel that just talking with words isn't satisfying enough. So, let's follow the tradition of making friends in hot-blooded anime... and have a 'heart-to-heart' through our fists!"

According to his original plan, Mo Yu wanted to talk, much like his "under-the-table" deal with Aizen. He wanted to see if there was room to use each other and form the Bleach world's "Strongest Villain Alliance" to rule the world or something.

But after witnessing Uryu's battle, Mo Yu felt that as the founder of the Purity system, relying on smooth talk all day was "low in Purity." Furthermore, for a man like Yhwach, talk was cheap. He decided it was better to follow the Martial Artist tradition: fight first, talk later!

This urge also stemmed from the previous plot. If Yoruichi hadn't saved Uryu, Mo Yu would have fought Yamamoto. Though both sides had held back for their own reasons, the itch to fight remained.

Currently, Yhwach was resurrected but had not yet regained his full power as the Quincy King, let alone his late-game "Soul King-eating" peak. This was arguably Yhwach's weakest moment since the start of the story. Mo Yu wanted to use him to test exactly how strong his "Auto-Clicker Edition" Divine Palm truly was.

"O King of Quincies, let me measure your Purity. Let's see if it can support your towering ambitions!"

Without waiting for a reaction, Mo Yu gripped his mouse and made a sudden swipe. The invisible Hand of God balled into a fist and swung for Yhwach's face!

Anyone else would have only known they were hit after the impact. But Yhwach's pupils contracted; he clearly "saw" invisible force condensing out of thin air into a fist the size of a sandbag. He raised his palm and flicked his fingers; several Heilig Pfeil (Sacred Arrows) manifested and shot forth.

Sacred Arrows are the most common Quincy attack—essentially a "Basic Attack." In the hands of someone like Uryu, they might be "Scratch Arrows," but Yhwach manifested the true spirit of the move. The Reishi density, sharpness, and speed were peerless, carrying an indescribable divine rhythm. It looked like a god delivering judgment to slay evil. It reminded one of the Soul King's grace when he slew the ancient Menos.

Against anyone else, even a Lieutenant-level Soul Reaper, these arrows would have pierced straight through. But against Mo Yu's Divine Fist, they were meaningless.

The arrows passed through the Divine Fist as if hitting thin air. Yhwach's expression grew grave. Seeing the fist closing in, he finally lost his composure and vanished, reappearing some distance away.

Though Hirenkyaku is just a footwork technique, in Yhwach's hands, it was indistinguishable from teleportation. In terms of raw speed, even Yoruichi might be a step behind.

"My friend! If you only flee, how can we have a heart-to-heart and speak from our souls?"

"Hmph!"

Faced with Mo Yu's mocking, the sinister Yhwach let out a cold snort. With a wave of his hand, a long blade appeared. Ordinary Quincies used bows; the King used a sword.

It was the Quincy Cross Sword. This blade possessed the power to not only extinguish souls but had extremely potent special abilities. Yhwach turned and swung diagonally. In the next instant, a world-shaking spiritual slash erupted, nearly rending the entire hall apart.

The ability of this sword wasn't as flashy as a Zanpakuto. Its sole function was to maximize the power of a slash, releasing an ultra-powerful spiritual wave.

Mo Yu found the ability remarkably familiar. If Yhwach had shouted "Getsuga Tensho," he wouldn't have been surprised at all. It made sense; the Shiba clan's Getsuga Tensho was a gift from the Soul King. As the Son of the Soul King, it was only natural Yhwach would know similar techniques.

This "Bootleg Getsuga" also failed to affect the Divine Fist. Yhwach's expression darkened. He stowed the sword, raised his hand, and pressed forward. Instantly, pillars of blue flame erupted from the ground. This wasn't Kido, but pure Reishi compression and ignition—an ancient spell from the era of chaos. It lacked finesse but excelled in "Big Power" logic.

The result remained the same: Useless!

Yhwach did not give up. He raised his left hand, Reiatsu flaring, as a pentagram array (Sankt Altar) expanded to envelop the Divine Fist. This move was designed to steal an enemy's power. Result: Useless.

Yhwach's face grew increasingly solemn. He pressed his left hand down, dispersing the pentagram. Then, a massive cross-shaped array appeared on the floor. In the next instant, light filled the hall.

Reishi Manipulation—the core of Quincy power—manifested in its supreme form. Yhwach constructed a space of Reishi, turning his surroundings into a domain under his absolute influence.

This move actually worked!

Inside the Reishi space, the Divine Fist was visibly obstructed and weakened. Yhwach raised an eyebrow and closed his left hand. Inside the luminous space, light and shadow flipped. Shadows birthed out of thin air like a giant maw, swallowing the Divine Fist into the darkness.

For any other Quincy, a Reishi space would be a trump card. For Yhwach, it was just the foundation to launch his specialty: the Shadow Domain.

Mo Yu's "invincible" interference had been parried. He wasn't angry; he was delighted. His Omniscience authority was already running. It pulled out a deck of Tarot cards, performed a fancy divination, and delivered the conclusion:

It's a Domain. Yhwach's Reishi domain was a combat technique, but because of its perfect operation and closure, it had manifested a symbolic meaning of a "World," allowing it to resist Mo Yu's divine interference to a degree.

Mo Yu shook his head to clear the Tarot imagery and laughed:

"Not bad! If it's just a one-sided beating, it's not really a heart-to-heart. Now... we can trade blows properly!"

Mo Yu was high-spirited, but Yhwach was not. He said coldly: "Wait. I see no point in continuing this meaningless battle..."

But Mo Yu's response was a roar:

"QUESTIONS ARE USELESS! LET ME SEE YOUR PURITY! AUTO-CLICKER: GO ALL OUT, DAMMIT!!!"

Mo Yu opened his Auto-Clicker software and unhesitatingly jacked up the click speed. Not much—just a frequency of 100 clicks per second. He held down the left mouse button and made a violent forward swipe.

A high-frequency vibrating Divine Fist manifested, screaming toward Yhwach!

But that wasn't enough to show the authority of an Old Testament God. Mo Yu opened the macro-recording function, recorded the previous action, made it a one-key loop, and sped up the playback!

In the next instant, Yhwach saw one vibrating Divine Fist after another appear until they fell like rain!

Mo Yu even had the leisure to open his music player, blast Star Platinum's execution theme, and open his microphone for live dubbing:

"My friend! Let us speak our minds and souls freely! ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA...!!!"

Faced with Mo Yu's "High-Tech" Divine Fist, Yhwach's Reishi space was instantly devastated. He couldn't help but wonder what kind of power this "Auto-Clicker" was to be this dominant!
