Chapter 3: Divine Revelation (Physical Poltergeist Version)

While dragging the progress bar, Mo Yu watched the changes in the video. Even as the perpetrator, he was startled—because that wasn't just a frame skip; it was actual time reversal.

The invisible hand of God had grasped the timeline, forcefully reversing it. Every character and event in the Bleach world followed that reversed axis, returning to the starting point.

Witnessing this, Mo Yu almost cheered at how "awesome" he was as a God. However, that self-satisfaction quickly faded. Dragging a progress bar to rewind time in a 2D anime world was something anyone in the material world could do with their hands. If that was the standard for power, then everyone on a video streaming site was a God.

After calming down, Mo Yu was surprised by Ichigo Kurosaki's reaction. Based on his behavior, Ichigo was clearly unaffected by the time reversal. Thus, Mo Yu opened his mic and spoke.

Though Ichigo usually acted brash and careless, his mental fortitude and adaptability were top-tier. Facing an incomprehensible anomaly, he quickly regained his composure.

"Hey, hey! You're the guy who calls himself an 'observer,' right? Is this your doing? What are you trying to achieve?"

Mo Yu tapped his desk, thinking of how to scam—er, persuade Ichigo to reach his goal. He decided to be direct.

"As I said before, I am an observer. I have watched every story of your life while you remained oblivious. Normally, as an observer, I would not interact with you, nor would you know of my existence. But for reasons I cannot yet disclose, I have broken tradition. I have returned time to the point before any stories have begun to negotiate with you directly. I am surprised, however, that you retained your memories in the torrent of reversed time. Not a bad thing—it saves us some communication costs."

Ichigo's face was grim. He had originally thought it was just a lingering spirit in his house, but after experiencing time reversal, he knew better. He didn't know what kind of entity this "observer" was, but it was definitely someone formidable—perhaps a god or a Buddha. However, Mo Yu's words chilled him. No one likes their life being peered at constantly. His voice grew annoyed:

"I don't want to negotiate with a guy who stalks me while hiding his face. If you have something to say, come out and show yourself."

Mo Yu didn't mind the reaction. He chuckled and said:

"To see me, you currently lack the qualification. Let's not waste time. Ichigo Kurosaki, your city of Karakura Town—and everything you cherish—will face a devastating disaster one day. Your father, your sisters, your classmates... they will all face a crisis of death. This is not a prophecy. It is a 'spoiler' given to you by me, the observer who has already read the story of your life."

"Are you kidding me? I won't believe the nonsense of some unknown guy!" Ichigo reacted violently; his family was his "reverse scale" (his ultimate taboo). Mo Yu simply smiled and said calmly:

"Today, when you go to school, you will encounter monsters that feed on souls called 'Hollows.' In your moment of crisis, a girl whose profession is a Soul Reaper will save your life. This is the second spoiler I grant you."

The holy voice from beyond the heavens narrated a "spoiler" that sounded like a prophecy of fate. Ichigo's emotions fluctuated wildly but soon settled. After the time reversal, he was inclined to believe Mo Yu. An entity of such power wouldn't waste time just to prank him. He could only argue instinctively:

"I don't believe in fate."

Mo Yu didn't care. Traditional Japanese hot-blooded protagonists all had this problem. They wouldn't turn back until they hit a wall. They were stubborn idiots who kept their mouths tough even when their bones were shattered.

Mo Yu continued: "I don't believe in fate either, which is why we are negotiating today. I need your help with something. If you do it well, I will grant you corresponding assistance based on the situation."

Hearing that this mysterious observer needed help, Ichigo frowned but quickly relaxed. Since he could see ghosts from a young age, he had helped many spirits under his delinquent-like exterior.

Sometimes Ichigo thought he might become a "Psychic Detective," spending his days speaking for the dead and maintaining the order of Yin and Yang. But those were just thoughts. Before stepping onto his destined path, Ichigo considered himself just an ordinary high schooler. He didn't have the resolve to carry the world on his shoulders yet.

Ichigo said: "What do you need help with? Let me hear it first. But let's get this straight—I'm just a normal person. Don't come to me with anything too troublesome. It'll be useless."

Mo Yu's expression turned serious: "I plan to establish a cultural entertainment and film company. I'm preparing to shoot some works. The first project has a script; I just need a cast. Mr. Ichigo Kurosaki, I sincerely invite you to join my team as the lead actor. Let us march forward together to create glory and become the strongest entertainment company in the Multiverse. To show my sincerity, I'll let you see the script first..."

Mo Yu manipulated the mouse, dragging it across the wall of Ichigo's room. Instantly, lines of text shrouded in white light appeared on the wall:

[Script Title: The Legend of the Strongest Academy Security Guard]

[Plot Outline: To protect the peace of the academy, the wallets of the boys, and the virtue of the girls, Ichigo Kurosaki takes on the role of a security guard, fighting thugs, the Yakuza, capitalists, and politicians every night.]

[Episode 1 Summary: A corrupt politician targets the virtue of a male student. Security guard Ichigo Kurosaki steps forward, transforming into the 'Masked DUI Knight.' Driving a 'Truck-kun,' he executes Divine Justice upon the corrupt politician in the dead of night!]

Looking at the script, Ichigo's mouth twitched. Even if he didn't know much about the film industry, he had seen TV shows and movies. The sheer "abstractness" of this script exceeded his expectations. He eventually said politely:

"I appreciate the offer, but I've already decided to inherit the family business and become a clinic doctor like my father. I can't be an actor."

Ichigo wasn't lying. In the finale of the Bleach anime, Ichigo—one of the world's strongest—put down his Zanpakuto, returned to the clinic, and started a family with Orihime Inoue as a local doctor.

Mo Yu laughed: "To be honest, that's a good dream. However, being a doctor won't give you the power to save the world. You don't have to answer now. When you truly desire the power to change the future and possess the resolve to match it, try calling for me. I am always watching you..."

With that, Mo Yu turned off the mic.

Rome wasn't built in a day. Mo Yu wasn't in a hurry. He was certain Ichigo would eventually call him. Traditional hot-blooded protagonists never lacked the spirit of sacrifice. But before that, Mo Yu had other work—finding the rest of the cast.

With a thought, the screen split into two. One view stayed on Ichigo, while the other soared across Karakura Town.

Karakura Town wasn't small, and Ichigo's school wasn't the only one. Mo Yu soon found his target. In a principal's office at another school, a man with typical "2D villain" traits sat on a luxury leather sofa, enjoying the AC.

Why was he a villain? Simple: obese, balding (the "Mediterranean" look), wearing a gold watch and sunglasses, with a sycophantic, monkey-faced subordinate nodding beside him. He scolded his underlings but acted like a fawning dog when the board of directors called. If he wasn't a villain, who was?

"Tsk tsk. In the world of Bleach, if you don't have a 'coolness factor,' you don't have human rights. You're the one!"

While the subordinate was out, Mo Yu manipulated the mouse to perform a "Divine Miracle."

Inside the office, the principal was counting his bribes with a sinister laugh. Suddenly, the world turned upside down. The bills grew wings and flew away, shredding in mid-air. The lights flickered as the switch was flipped repeatedly. Finally, the principal's leather chair acted as if it had wheels, zooming around the room.

The principal was scared out of his wits, screaming for help. After a moment, the phenomena stopped, and a holy, solemn voice echoed in his ear:

"I am God. Listen well. At a specific time in the future, you must suppress all objections and hire a specific person as the school security guard. Otherwise, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I will film a sequel to Ju-On (The Grudge) at your house. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, I'll film Final Destination."

Why not Sunday? Because on Sunday, God rests!

Perhaps because he was a minor character, the principal surrendered quickly to Mo Yu's "Divine Revelation (Physical Poltergeist Version)," crying and promising to obey. Mo Yu wasn't entirely satisfied. He had wanted to create a grander scene—like blowing up the office and restoring it with a thought. As a God, shouldn't he have more "aura" when delivering a decree?

But when he tried, he felt an invisible resistance. The mouse felt heavy. Because the Divine Status contained the authority of omniscience, Mo Yu gained an insight.

He was a God, but he was not the God of the Bleach World Bubble. He had immense interference power due to his status, but he wasn't truly omnipotent here because this was not his Kingdom.

Thus, the planned "Grand Miracle" became "Physical Poltergeist."

Mo Yu wasn't discouraged. He had already experienced disappointment when testing his powers in reality. He was immune now. Though it was worth noting: he could reverse the timeline of the entire World Bubble, yet his direct physical interference was limited to this? Or rather, to the Divine Authority, dragging a timeline and dragging a leather sofa were functionally the same?

Mo Yu grew thoughtful. If the "gap" between world bubbles limited his power, what if he found a way to merge or devour the Bleach World Bubble? If he incorporated it into his Heaven, there might be surprises.

He even had a specific plan. The underlying lore of Bleach actually featured an "Omniscient and Omnipotent God." Mo Yu just had to devour or replace him. And even better, this "God" was currently in a vegetative state. It was a perfect chance.

To understand why, one must look at the origin of the Bleach world. Eons ago, the world was a single entity like an egg. Reishi (Spirit Particles) was the foundation of all things. Within the world, the Primeval World and Hell coexisted. Humans, Souls, and Hollows were mixed together. When humans died, they became souls; souls stayed as they were or fell into corruption as evil spirits—Hollows. Hollows ate humans and souls. This was the Era of Chaos.

In this era, souls and Reishi constantly fell into Hell to be consumed. This created three crises: First, the cycle was stagnant, and Reishi lost its vitality, leading to world-wide stagnation. Second, Hell kept expanding to swallow the world. Third, Hollows would eventually consume everything until only one "Eternal Progenitor Hollow" remained.

At this point, the world birthed an entity called the Soul King. The Soul King possessed the power of Omnipotence and Omniscience and was the first and strongest Quincy. He used Reishi to perform miracles, slaying Hollows and breaking them down into basic particles. During this, some beings gained power and became the Soul King's generals—the Five Great Noble Families.

The Soul King stopped the birth of the Eternal Hollow. Later, the Five Great Nobles proposed splitting the world: Humans to the World of the Living, Hollows to Hueco Mundo, and the Nobles/Soul King to a world of high Reishi concentration to rule forever.

The Soul King didn't answer but continued killing Hollows. Eventually, the Tsunayashiro clan and others conspired to rebel. The Soul King, despite his omniscience, either saw his fate and accepted it, or lacked a complete "ego." He didn't resist. He was killed by the founders of the Great Nobles, dismembered (limbs cut off, organs removed), and sealed in a crystal pillar as a "Linchpin."

The Nobles used the Soul King's power to split the Three Worlds. The Soul King became a "sacrifice" to keep the worlds from collapsing back into chaos.

In a sense, the Soul King is the true main line of Bleach. The title "BLEACH" refers to the original sin of the inhabitants who live by killing their Creator and the subsequent process of "bleaching" (cleansing) that sin.

The history of the Gotei 13, Sosuke Aizen's rebellion, and the Quincy King Yhwach's hatred for the Soul Society are all rooted in this. The rise of Ichigo Kurosaki was the final result of this chain.

Mo Yu thought about this but decided to keep it as a secondary option. Even if he became the God of this 2D world, so what? It wasn't as important as tricking Ichigo into filming a movie to make some money in the material world.

In the real world, even God has to eat!

Mo Yu felt hungry. He thought about ordering takeout but decided to go out and find food. Walking down the street, he noticed he had a bit more energy and his legs felt stronger, but the change was so minor he didn't pay it much mind.
