Chapter 4 - A TIME FREE

Scene: Behind the school ground

Rohan looked at Aarav seriously, his voice calm but curious.

"So… we need to know about your powers now."

Aarav nodded slowly. "Yeah. It feels like there's another identity living inside my body."

Rohan's eyes narrowed. "Then tell me—what exactly happened to you at the birthday party?"

Aarav took a deep breath. "I don't know how to explain it properly. I just felt one thing very clearly—that I had to save my aunt. Suddenly, a strange voice echoed from inside me, telling me to move… to fight."

Rohan was stunned. "Oh! So now you have to try using your powers."

Aarav hesitated. "Now? And where?"

Rohan smiled slightly. "I know a place where no one ever comes."

They walked quietly toward the back side of the school, beyond the playground, where broken walls and tall grass hid everything from view.

Rohan stopped and turned toward him. "So… are you capable of doing this?"

Aarav nodded. "Yes."

"Try to move," Rohan said.

Aarav tried to focus. "Okay… yeah… ahh—this—no! I can't do this!"

Rohan raised his hand. "Relax. Don't force it."

Testing the Power

Rohan asked again, curiosity burning in his eyes.

"Can you fly?"

Aarav shook his head. "I don't know. That's not how I use my powers."

Rohan frowned. "So… how?"

"I can't control them," Aarav replied honestly. "They just awaken suddenly—like they did that day."

Rohan placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't panic."

Aarav nodded. "Now… let's just go home."
